SIDE A: ACCIDENTALLY YOURS

"Okay, sauce is perfect. The steak? In great medium-rare condition. Her favorite wine is already chilling." Jessica smiles at the table she just finished prepping up. "Okay, now I'm just going to- hello?"

"Oops, thought you expect me to be someone else?"

"By now you do realize that I am already immune to your teasing since you've been doing that all afternoon right?"

"Yeah but if I stop, where's the fun in that?"

"Hmm, whatever makes you happy."

"You can't blame me Jess, you really do look like a wifey material for me."

"S-s-stop."

"Hahaha, fine. I'm gonna let you off the hook right now."

"Thanks Hyo."

"Anytime Mrs. Kwon. Oops, I slipped."

Jessica rolls her eyes as she hears Hyoyeon teaseful chuckle from the other end still she was thankful for the latter's offer to help earlier. She couldn't help but feel happy that Yuri finally agreed on her own will to have dinner with her but what made her happier was when Hyoyeon unexpectedly shows up in their doorstep just asking her how she's been and when she told her about her errand, she even volunteered to help and gave her tips on Yuri's favorite dishes. They were able to bond over that but also, Jessica felt like she had a core work-out due to Hyoyeon's energy.

"Ha ha ha. Verry funny."

"Awwe, look at you warming up to me after all these fail trials I did earlier."

"You're not hard to get used to Hyo. You're really a nice person."

"Aw shucks you're making me blush now." The blonde hair chuckles. "Anyways, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, just waiting for her to come home."

"Cool, she's bound to arrive soon though. I shouldn't keep you long, you still have lots of preparations to do."

"I should most probably look at least presentable."

"Come on Jessica, in Yuri's eyes you can wear a potato sack and still look lovely."

Jessica couldn't help but blush. "Still, it won't hurt to try a little harder."

"True. Then, I'll leave you now. Good luck on your dinner date."

"Thank you again for the help you provided today."

"No, I should be the one thanking you Jessica Jung."

"Hmmm? For what?"

"For just being there. For Yuri I mean... I know it's hard but we're totally grateful because you're still there."

"Yuri's not that bad Hyo."

"I know, I know. Still she can be a handful sometimes."

"She is, but I wouldn't have her any other way either." Hyoyeon agrees and she finally ends their conversation. "Okay, now before getting ready I should probably feed Hani first."

She returns to the kitchen and pulls out the last drawer which contains Hani's snacks and foods. She pours the needed amount of dog food inside the measuring cup before pouring it into the bowl and placing it on Hani's spot in the kitchen area. She then makes the whistle for Hani and waits for a familiar chime sound but none came. The brunette furrows her eyebrows and tries it again before abandoning the kitchen look call out for Hani's name.

Jessica roams aorund the house but still no sign of the dog and that's when her heart starts to beat faster. Hani isn't usually like this, she may come off as a rude dog but she would never ignore her especially when it comes to meal time. She climbs down from the stairs and widens her eyes the moment she realized that the front door was open. She rushes outside, now calling the dog's name with desperation.

She takes a round at the house and was sure that the dog was around here somewhere since she saw that the main door was still locked. But when her eyes catches a small hole from the far side of the house. The hole was so small that it was unnoticeable and thought that the dog wouldn't be able to fit there but just to make things sure, she goes near the hole and felt her soul left her body.

The hole was indeed small, but it was enough for Hani to use and escape.

"Oh no." Jessica says out to no one.

"We're here Miss Kwon."

"Thank you Mr. Yoo. Send my regards to my mother."

"Will do."

Yuri closes the car door and enters the household. She smiles to herself as she carries her own luggage inside the house. Truth to be told, she was a little excited as she was thinking on how to announce her arrival. She looked at the tea set in her hand and lets her grin grow wider knowing how Jessica would be totally happy when she sees this.

"I'm home!" She says excitedly, waiting for a running Hani or a panicked Jessica seeing that she arrived earlier than the estimated time.
But no, she was greeted with silence which confused her, but shrugged it off by thinking Jessica was inside her room doing some last minute arrangements to herself or maybe inside the kitchen mentally cursing for not looking at her phone to see Yuri's text messages. So, she waits in her spot waiting for Jessica to welcome her home but after another minute of staying put- she could tell something was off.

And it was only confirmed when she arrives at the kitchen where she sees the entire area was a complete mess. She places down the tea set, and announces her arrival once again but there was no one answering her call.

"Jessica? Hani?"

"Hani mama's home!"

"Jessica where are you?"

Feeling frustrated, she pulls out her phone and dials the brunette's number. "Y-Yuri?"

"Yah, where are you?"

"W-w-where are you?"

She lets out a sigh. "I'm at the house Jessica where do you think I am?"

"Y-y-you're at the house?"

"Of course I'm at the house I told you I'd be home for dinner right?" She was getting impatient with Jessica beating around the bush. "Where are you anyways you didn't answer my call?"

"I'm..."

"Why is it so noisy out there and where is Hani?"

Jessica swallows the rock-like lump in . "About that..."

Now Yuri was getting nervous too. "Jessica- where is my dog."

"Well it started off with me getting busy with preparing for tonight tha- I- I didn't-"

"Just get to the point!"

"Hani's missing."

She widens her eyes. "Hani's what?" She just couldn't believe it. "SHE'S WHAT?!"

"She's-"

"Goddamnit Jessica! How could you let her out of your sight!?"

"I'm sorry! I was so busy today that I might've forgotten to close the door because the dinner-"

"No! That's just inexcusable! You're so stupid! How could you do something like this!"

"I'm sorry Yuri I didn't mean to-"

"Save your sorry." She hisses. "Don't you dare come home without Hani and I don't care what happens to you or whatever method you will use right now but you're not allowed to step foot inside of this house. Bring my dog back Jessica- it's more valuable than your life."

She hungs up her phone and dashes her way out of the house to also find her missing possession, in hopes that Hani was just wandering around the neighborhood.

Meanwhile Jessica was already talking to every person she could encounter or passed by with, trying her luck if they saw a Pomeranian dog but after half an hour of trying her luck, she wasn't able to get an answer to any of her because people passing by weren't being nice to her and all. She couldn't blame it on them though, it was rush hour in the city and people were more concerned about getting a spot in the public transportation rather than entertaining about a question of a dog.

"Excuse me but have you-"

"Sorry I don't have time."

"Um sir have you seen-"

"Move out! I'm busy."

"Maam is there any way that you saw-"

"Will you leave? Can't you see I am busy accomodating my customers?"

The lady looks at her annoyingly before resuming to entertain her hungry customers. Jessica bows apologetically before looking at the area, almost close to tears as shen wonders how scared the dog would be in this kind of environment. She slumps her shoulder and sighs, and just as when she thought her day couldn't get any bad- a businessman harshly bumps his shoulder onto hers making her losen her grip of her handphone and lands hard on the concrete floor.

She hastily grabs onto the phone and tries to turn the light on but after so many attempts she has finally given up on it. She groans in annoyance and looks at the sky.

"Could this day get any worse?!" And as if fate has already made plans for her that day, one by one the raindrops starts to fall. "Great. Just great!"

As the crowd rushes to find shelter and the others grabs their umbrellas, Jessica Jung just stood there continuously questioning what she has done in her past life for her to receive a day like this. Right there she really wanted to cry and just give up but then she remembers that there was a little fluffy animal wandering and whose probably dirty by now- crying by herself as she also tries her luck to get home.

"No Jessica Jung, you totally cannot surrender now. If you give up on Hani, then who would she count on to find her?" She smiles and clutches her hands together. "Hani needs you and you just can't give up on her that easy."

On the other side of the coin Yuri just got home after asking questions and looking at the public places around their neighborhood. Just like Jessica she was also low on luck as no one has seen her precious baby girl. She parks her car right outside of the house and sighs to herself worrying about her Pomeranian. Looking up, she furrows her eyebrows when she saw a man holding onto an umbrella and something else from his other hand. She steps right out of the car and approaches the man but then she lets out a gasp when she realizes what the man has been holding onto.

"HANI!" The dog wags its tail at Yuri as she claims her back in her arms. "Oh my gosh! Where have you been I've been looking everywhere forn you!" She kisses the dog a few times. I thought I lost you forever!"

"She was barking right outside my house and I knew from there who's this dog was." He says. "I'm sorry, where are my manners? My name is Lee Dong Wok. I also live around the area."

"Thank you for holding onto her." She gives him a bow of gratitude.

"No worries, I know Jessica is probably worried sick because of this little cutie pie so I was rushing to get here as soon as I found out."

"How did you find her?"

He nods in response. "My dog plays with Hani a lot around our area's park so she probably picked up on Snoopy's scent as she escaped. I also saw her biting the hell out of the cucumber." He smiles. "What a nice girl she knows what her mommy hates." He explains. "Dogs normally hate the things that their owners hate too."

"And you know that because?"

"Ah- I'm your dog's replacement vet for a while."

"So that's how you and my wife got close?"

"You could say that." He nods again. "Your wife's such a nice person."

Now Yuri couldn't help but raise her eyebrow. "Yeah, one of the reasons why I chose to marry Jessica and I still look at her up to this day and wonder what the hell did I do to deserve this woman."

That made him chuckle."Wow, you must really love her."

She only smirks. "It was nice meeting you Dr. Lee, I'll be sure to return the favor one day."

"Just fix the hole on the far side of your house and then we'll call it quits."

She only nods and enters their house once the rain got a little harder. Once they were inside she lets Hani down and the idol kneels in front of her dog while the latter was just looking at her very oddly. She sighs after a few minutes and ruffles Hani's hair.

"Yah." She first calls out to the dog. "You caused some major trouble today young lady. Do you have anything else to say for yourself?"

"Don't tilt your head to the side you know very well what I am talking about."

"You made me so scared earlier and your mommy J is still out there looking for you." That made the dog whine.

"Did you really beat the crap out of Mr. Cucumber because you know mommy J doesn't like it?"

Yuri smiles when the Pomeranian barks out loud. "Well then shall we call her already to come home and greet you with kisses?"

She pulls out her phone but then she stops mid-way and thought about how irresponsible Jessica was when it came to taking care of her most prized possession. While it's true that it wasn't her fault about the hole thing in the house, it was still her fault for leaving the front door open which was the main reason why they had to go through all of this trouble. Yuri takes a look at her dog and then back at Jessica's name on her contact list.

"Come now little one. Let's get you some delicious dinner." She carries Hani and looks at the drastic rain outside through her window.

Jessica is not stupid, she knows when to stop looking.

The next day, Yuri wakes up and smiles when she sees Hani sleeping comfortably beside her. She gives the latter a quick kiss on the head as she hops off and prepares for a new day ahead of her. There was so much to do within the day so it was better to start early and she starts off with fixing the hole on their house.

After checking in with her guy and her morning rituals, she goes down the stairs while humming to a tune of a melody stuck in her mind and sees the messy kitchen area still which made her totally confused because she thought Jessica already went home last night after the drastic rain and it must've been tired looking for a small do in such a big city which is why she thinks that the brunette was still zoned out in her bedroom.

But when she peeks through the wooden door and finds the yellow-themed room empty and the bed was left untouched. She furrows her eyebrows in confusion and thought about where in the world would Jessica be if she's not at home?

"Don't you dare come home without Hani."

It was only then that she nods in understanding. Maybe the latter spent the night at her bestfriend's home so she completely shrugs it off and continued on with her day and proceeded with her next task- cleaning the kitchen and making breakfast for her and Hani. As she was cleaning the dishes, she couldn't help but wonder just how much trouble Jessica went through to prepare all of this and imagined how jumpy and excited the brunette was as she proceeded on with the preparation.

A smile escapes from just thinking about the huge smile and giggling sound echoing throughout this area or how Jessica would probably be bouncing and jamming to some pop songs while singing. She hasn't heard the latter sing though but she's got a good feeling that Jessica's voice is as beautiful as her.

Her random train of thoughts was interrupted when her phone starts buzzing and Hyoyeon's meme-worthy face pops up. She wipes her free hand in her clothing before putting it on speaker and continues to wash the dishes.

"Wow, you're up early."

"Why does it seem to surprise you that I am up this early?"

"Nothing, I just thought that judging from the possible outcomes from last night's event, you probably sorted things out with your wife."

"You have no idea." She mouths to herself. "What made you call so early this morning? if you think that I'm still asleep anyways?"

"Oh about that, I want to ask you if Hani escaped from your household yesterday?" That made Yuri stopped from doing the work she's been doing. "It just dawned to me that I left the door wide open after helping her with the groceries. Min called and that there was an emergency and I kinda forgot about everything else."

"You're the one who left the door wide open?"

Hyoyeon chuckles nervously. "Yeah man I'm sorry about that anyway just to make things sure- Hani didn't escaped right?"

"Can I kill you later? I've got an important thing to do."

"Yeah of course." Then there was a sudden pause. "Wait, hold up did you just say kill-"

Yuri lets out a sigh as she ends the call. "I cannot believe I did that." She immediately scans through her contacts and instantly presses Jessica's name.

"You're so stupid! How could you do something like this!"

"I don't care what happens to you."

"Bring my dog back Jessica- it's more valuable than your life."

"Aish! Why won't she answer my calls!"

Deciding that Jessica wasn't going to answer any of her calls, she ditches the dishes and grabs the car keys hooked from the back door and runs towards the main door where she sees a very pissed off Sunny that totally surprised her.

"Look, I don't know why you're looking at me like that but can it wait? You can kill me after I kill Hyoyeon but there's something that I really need to do first."

"If this is about Jessica then you can stop where you are right now."

"H-how did you know about-"

"I got a call from my team in the wee hours of the day telling me that a papparazzi called and sent a picture of Jessica collapsing in the middle of the sidewalk while a man is holding her in his arms during the rain! He said that he has tons more of the source and as if that wasn't enough to make me stressed so early in the morning- I got a call from the hospital telling me that your wife has been sent to the emergency room!"

"What?"

"And you know what pisses me the most huh Kwon Yuri?" Sunny marches towards the tanned-girl and grabs her by the collar. "The fact that you let a pregnant woman wander off the night without any care in the world while she looks for some dog."

"Hani is not just some dog Sunny." She spats.

"And Jessica is not some woman." She hisses back. "I thought you already know that by now but judging the way you just treated her, I guess I assumed wrong of you." She pushes the latter off. "I know you don't care about her, but at least have the decency to visit her even if it's for formalities' sake only."

Yuri walks scans the floor looking for a specific room using her full idol disguise. As her eyes spots the room number, she stood there frozen in her tracks thinking of ways on how to start a conversation with the girl who's inside the room. But the concern inside and the urge to check up on the brunette finally wins over the internal debate so she brings her hand up to softly knock on the white door.

"Come in." She hears from the other side.

Yuri sighs and cheered herself on. "Alright Yuri, here goes nothing."

She opens the door and never felt so guilty in her life. No, it wasn't about seeing Jessica with an IV attached to her hand, it wasn't even the fact that she really looked pale and weak. No, it was the fact that Jessica, despite of her helpless state looked at her scared for her actual life. Scared of something she wasn't even liable for in the first place.

"Yuri." She softly mumbles. "I'm sorry, I really looked for her everywhere within the area and asked a lot of people if they saw a Pomeranian walking around but it was rush hour and raining too so the people often ignore me and-"

"Jessica." She calls out as she stands right in front of the weak brunette.

"S-s-sorry. I've been rambling too much, maybe it's the-"

"The pregnant hormones?"

Jessica smiles softly. "Yeah, let's blame it on the pregnant hormones."

"May I?" Yuri refers to the seat and the latter nods. "How... How are you feeling?"

"When I woke up I felt so light-headed but after throwing up a couple of times I managed to be okay. The doctor told me that I should be getting more rest but I beg to differ. I still have to look for Hani."

"Listen, about Hani-"

"No Yuri. I cannot give up on searching for her." She says. "Hani is out there I just know it and I know she's probably crying so much because she's scared. She's never been outside more than the neighborhood's park. Who knows what could've happened to her? I can't forgive myself if something did happen to your dog..."

Yuri's heart clenches out of her own will listening to Jessica's worry for her pet. "Hani's been found."

"Really?!" Jessica's mood totally turned 180 degrees after hearing the news. "Who found her?"

"It was her replacement vet, Dr. Lee Dong Wook."

"Oh! Dong Wook oppa found her?" She heaves out a sigh of relief. "That's great news. I thought she wandered off somewhere else!"

"He found her just as when it started to rain. I-I uh- I wanted to inform you so you'd stop searching but-" Yuri bites her lower lip thinking whether to lie or not but she felt that Jessica really needs to hear her true feelings. "But I let my anger cloud my judgment and decided not to call you. That's just because I thought you were intelligent enough not to look for her because it was raining hard last night!" She tries to argue. "I thought you went home last night and so I checked if you were still asleep."

"But when I opened the door you weren't there and I thought you decided to have a sleep over at Tiffany's apartnment because you were mad at me too and I thought it was just okay, that you'd return later this day but then I get a call from Hyoyeon and she tells me that it was actually her fault because she left the front door opened and then I remembered the things I said to you that night so I tried calling you but you weren't answering then I panicked-

"Hey." She softly says to the idol as she places her hand over hers. "Calm down okay? There's no need to ramble I am willing to listen to everything you say. Stop this or else I might think that you're going to steal the pregnant hormones card from me."

Yuri looks at her. "You're not mad?"

"Of course I am not mad Yuri. I understand where you're coming from."

"You do?" She said with disbelief.

Jessica nods her head. "Hani is a very important part of your life and I bet that she was the only one you talked to when you were going through hard times and you didn't want to tell your family or friends about it. She was the only one who was there to listen and understand you and never left you even there were times when you don't even need her..." She smiles. "It was still my fault Yuri, if I double checked the front door, I would've realized that Hyoyeon forgot to close it so you can stop plotting on how to kill Hyoyeon now."

Yuri raises both of her eyebrows. "How do you know what's going through my mind?"

"Like I said, I understand you." She says. "I guess I was too excited to prepare everything for you last night and kind of zoned-out."

The idol stares at Jessica with great amusement in her eyes. How can someone like her exist in the first place? She's so innocent, pure, kind-hearted and her understanding is as deep as the deepest ocean in the universe. She starts to think that Jessica Jung couldn't be a human, humans are not as nice as hers. She tilts her head to the side- lost in her thoughts but Jessica pulls her out of her trance by asking her a question.

"Are you alright Yuri? You look lost in your thoughts."

"Is there anything that you want to do today?"

"Huh?" The brunette blinks in surprise. "Why this question all of a sudden?"

"It just crossed my mind. Just pick anything you want to do and don't worry about anything else."

"Well..." She thinks out. "There's a flyer that I saw and it was about a book fair in downtown. I'm running out of books so I would really like to re-stock. They have amazing discounts too! I bet I can buy some with my savings."

"Isn't that going to be too crowded?"

"Of course, it's a book fair after all." She chuckles. "It's their last day today, such a shame that I could come but I guess there's going to be other days where's there's better and bigger book fairs I'm sure."

"Um excuse me?" A nurse pops her head inside. "Mrs. Jung-Kwon doctor Moon will do some last check-ups for you before you get discharged."

"Okay, tell unnie I'll be waiting for her." The nurse smiles and closes the door.

"Hey, while your doctor checks up on you I'm going to have to make a call. Wait for me here okay? We'll leave together."

"Okay." She nods and Yuri leaves the room as well.

Making sure she had a good distance, she pulls out her phone. "Hello? Yes Tae it's me." She lets out a sigh. "I know, I know. It's all my fault yeah no need to remind me. I got it really." She scrunches her nose. "Look, can you lecture me later and do a favor for me?" She asks with her soft tone. "Jessica really wants to go to this book fair she's been ta
