“This is bad Hyosung-ah. This is bad. Why are you doing this to me? Do you want to get everyone fired?
Did you at least think about the consequences before you go on with the plan? You are the freaking leader of
Secret for God’s sake!” Hyosung’s thought is occupied by her manager’s outburst after he knew about
Hyosung and Kikwang’s secret little date. “We need to keep this out of the President’s knowledge.
You need to stop acting like a teenager in love and start cleaning your act. You cannot have any contact
with him anymore. What did you think when the President made the decision to forbid you girls from having
cell phones? This is why Hyosung-ah! We cannot just go breaking the rules that have been made just
because we are in love, right? Now, I want you to just forget about this little fling and start acting like
a responsible adult. Okay Hyosung-ah?” she remembers her manager’s pleading face like the conversation
had just happened a minute ago. “Unnie! Unnie! Are you okay?” Sunhwa’s voice interrupts with her thoughts.
“We need to start practice. The choreographer is here” Sunhwa is concerned looking at the troubled expression
on Hyosung’s face. “Ah. Okay Sunhwa-ah. Thank you. I did not notice we are starting. Lack of sleep I guess?”
Hyosung tries to bluff the maknae. Offering her sweet smile, Sunhwa helps her unnie get up and forces some
doubtful thought out from her head. “Okay so I am going to show your new dance routine. Focus! I don’t want
to have repeat some small step because your head is not in this practice room!” the instructor’s voice is firm.
“Neh!” all four of them said in unison as they are used to the situation. After two long hours of practicing, they
are rewarded with a break. “Ahh I miss practising together like this” Jieun chirps after gulping half of the water
from the water bottle. “Well it has not been that long since our last comeback. What’s up with you Jieun-ah?”
Hana is asking. “Nahhh. I think I feel like it has been forever since all four of us are here together in this practice room”
Jieun reassures Hana while making a merong face towards her. “Awwh that is so sweet Jieun-ah. Did you
miss us during your vacation?” Sunhwa is joining the conversation. “Nope. I just miss the one and only Hyosung unnie!
Hihi” Jieun is being playful because she is really happy they are back together as Secret again. However, there is
no word of response from Hyosung. “Aish there she goes again. Drift in her own little world. I wonder what is wrong
with Hyosung unnie. She has been out of it since after the secret date she had with Kikwang” Sunhwa is expressing
her worry to the other two girls. Jieun moves closer to Hyosung and hugs her. The action has made Hyosung woken up
from her daydream. “Haha miss me are you Jieun-ah?” Hyosung says as if trying to cover the fact she was lost
deep in her thought just now. “Want to talk about it unnie? Is anything bothering you? Plus I want to know have
you and Kikwang made any progress after your date?” Jieun tries to bring the cheerful mode back. Well, after
hearing Kikwang’s name being mentioned Hyosung’s face has become stiff. She stays silent. “Omo. What is wrong unnie?
He didn’t call you back did he? He is a jerk!” Hana sounds frustrated. “Well… That is not exactly what happened guys.
Hurm…” Hyosung doesn’t really know how to tell her members. All three of them look at Hyosung in confusion. They
are begging Hyosung to tell them what is actually going on. “Manager oppa found out” she just blurts it out.
“Whattt????? How did he find out? Who told him? He scold you didn’t he?” Hana is the first to let out her thought.
Jumping into the outburst, Jieun adds “Can’t he relates with young love? He is not sensitive at all! No wonder he does
not have any girlfriend!” “Yes that’s right Jieun-ah. I don’t even think he has ever been in love. He can’t expect you
to just walk out from love. Kikwang could be the one unnie!!” Sunhwa emphasizes. Feeling tickled with the girls’
reaction Hyosung says “I think he doesn’t want me to get married first before him. You know, he’ll feel like a pathetic loser
if the one who is younger than him get to get married first!” which gain a laugh form the girls. “In all seriousness Unnie,
you did not do what he told you to do, right?” Hana somehow has a bad feeling after asking that question to the leader.
“OH NO!” both Sunhwa and Jieun blurt at the same time. “I don’t know what to do guys. It’s not like I can just ignore the
order from manager oppa. Not when he started telling me how I can destroy the career of the people around me and
blah blah blah” Hyosung defends herself. “You poor Hyosung unnie!” Sunhwa gives Hyosung a tight hug as she realises
Hyosung is doing it for the best of the Secret’s girls. “No no no! We need to change his mind about this. I don’t care!
Like what Sunhwa said, Kikwang could be Ithe one” Jieun has a dreamy look in her eyes.
The girls laugh at her because they all know how Jieun is a hopeless romantic. “On the bright side,
I get to see Kikwang this Friday!” Hyosung chirps hoping Kikwang is also counting the days before they will meet each other again.
