“I’m curious, who was that guy ?” I gave a look to YongGuk. We were in bed, ready to sleep and he was in the mood for questions like this ?

 “You really want to talk about this now ?”

“Well … you looked really angry and worked up … I was just wondering. He was your ex boyfriend, right ?” YongGuk looked quite embarassed to ask me this question. It seemed to me he pondered  a lot before asking me this simple question. He went to take his shower right after our date and had plenty of occasions to ask me yet waited and hesitated until  now. I was sleepy and not really in the mood to talk about all of this. Yet, I complied.

“Not really…” I started. I smiled, looking at YongGuk confused face. “We kind of had a relationship, I guess ...  for a semester. He was an older student helping our professor, so we called him Assistant Jun. Things escalated quickly.”

“What do you mean  ?” YongGuk asked.

“He invited me to his studio, because he said he wanted to take pictures of me. It was not long after the accident, so I was … not in my right mindstate and  gulible."

My boyfriend groaned.

“I was deeply hurt when he left university without any notice. Asking around, I learned about his wife and and that he was banging four other girls of the university, actually maybe more.”

“Whaouh he was a complete jerk.” YongGuk commented. He got closer to me and wrapped an arm around me.

“Yeah. Grandma always told me I was a fool when it came to love. But he was the worst.” I said, a bit embarassed.

He nodded, with an amused expression. “I heard so.” 

“Gosh those ladies from the market told you right ? They told you about Assistant Jun ?”

He looked embarrassed. “Yeah they did.”

I blushed. “That’s why I didn’t trust Grandma, she would tell every of my little secrets to them ! And she called herself my confident! "

He laughed. “Yeah they also told me about some photos Assistant Jun took of you.”

I froze and hitted his shoulder lightly. “Ya, you’re hanging out too much with them ! I don’t like it !!”

He laughed. “Deal with it. Actually, I told them about how we met and my past. today. They were shocked  but they accepted it after some talking.”

I considered YongGuk for a few seconds. He seemed to really be fond of them, to sincerely consider them as friends, enough to tell them. I kissed his cheek. “I’m glad it went okay.”
