Gaelin walked off the elevator into her home and was immediately met by Tanaka, “President you are late.” The butler bemoaned.

“What is the fuss about?” Gaelin mumbled as Tanaka slid off her topcoat, “I had to cancel a meeting for this. Since when does Kim Namjoon override my schedule because of Jongin? My son is not the President of this Consortium yet.”

Tanaka couldn’t conceal his amusement at how put out Gaelin looked. He would always think she was the cutest woman, no matter how old she grew. He had held her hand and helped her walk both of them youths. He had been raised to guard her always. To him, she was the most special incredible person in the world. “President is that the face you will wear to the meeting?” Tanaka asked as Gaelin continued to frown.

“Of course not, I will smile and be pleasant.” Gaelin snapped and showed Tanaka her smile. “What meeting exactly?”

“Have you been drinking?” he admonished lightly.

“Do you want to die?” she returned automatically.

“We should join the others. They are waiting.” Tanaka led Gaelin toward the terrace. When she stepped outside she found her husband, House Master, Jongin and his friend Kris Wu seated at the table. Tanaka took a seat beside Kai and suddenly Gaelin knew that this was a serious family meeting. “Well met all,” she greeted and took the seat beside Namjoon. “Wine,” she told the butler that waited to take her order, “Kaiah, do you and your friend want anything?” Kai shook his head.

“Were you busy today?” Soo-hyuk enquired impatiently.

“The President had a full schedule,” Namjoon answered for Gaelin.

Soo-hyuk sighed heavily and Namjoon kept quiet when he realised that Soo-hyuk wanted a response from his wife. Gaelin clutched Namjoon’s hand under the table in reassurance. “My House Master knows best.” Gaelin mocked her husband.

“Can we just get on with it then?” Soo-hyuk said and turned his attention to Jongin, “You called an emergency meeting?”

Kris watched the scene and couldn’t contain his smile. He was nervous but he loved every minute of this. He loved watching this family.

Kai cleared his throat, “The Woo heir has been found.” He announced

There was silence, everyone was lost for words at first. Namjoon kept quiet as he waited for
