Golden Quill - The Legacy (GQ2)“What do you think?” Miranda was nervous as Sehun studied her model and then picked up the accompanying report. “I ran into a few issues, but your suggestions helped. Sehun was silent as he scanned the report and picking up a pencil started to make comments in the right margin, just like a teacher. Miranda waited, she had deliberately made the mistakes so she could see him again. This stuff – she could do in her sleep but playing dumb was worth it. Now she knew that he was just as impressive as she had assumed.
“You don’t have to implement my suggestions…” Sehun handed the report back, “but if you don’t mind me saying…some of the issues you encountered could have easily been avoided.”
“I see that now,” Miranda blushed, she didn’t want him to think she was a complete idiot. Sehun’s phone chimed and after reading the message he smiled, “What is it?”
“Ah, my brother got into the best soccer academy in the country.” Sehun praised and she could tell how proud he was. The phone started to chime at a crazy rate. “Sorry, its one of those group chats.” He scanned through the messages. “I would have suggested we work on the changes to the essay together, but I have to meet my family to celebrate.”
“I understand. My brother loved soccer.” Miranda revealed.
“Doesn’t he like it anymore?” Sehun asked distracted as he packed up his belongings.
“He’s dead,” Miranda answered bluntly. “He died two a year ago.”
