“Baek we should break up.”

 “Honey what jacket should I-“ Baekhyun stopped. Turning to look at Jongdae’s face, he frowned, causing two small marks to indent his face. “That was the worst joke you have ever made Dae but I’ll forgive you.” 

“Not a joke,” Jongdae sighed, “look it’s college, we’ve been together for a year, but have we actually been together as a couple? You’re like my best friend!”

 “Well yes that’s what couples act like,” Baekhyun snorted, “best friends that .”

 “Yeah I know but,” Jongdae grinned despite the situation, “look we’re literally talking as if we’re best friends even though I’m breaking up with you.” 

At this Baekhyun did laugh gently, “You’re right, you know,” sighing, he walked over to Jongdae and threw an arm around him, “as my best friend and NOT my boyfriend, let’s go out tonight and find each other some hot meat to devour! So tell me, what colour jacket should I wear?”

“Red, definitely red,” with his eyes crinkled, Jongdae slapped Baekhyun’s , “compliments the Baek booty.” 

“What a good friend you are!”

 “Oh Sehun!” A low voice boomed throughout the stingy apartment, “turn off your ing alarm or I will turn off your life.”

 “Ha good one,” the reply came by oddly emotionless and sassy at the same time, “I’m giving that one a solid 8/10.” 

Nevertherless, the ringing continued, “Oh Sehun! I swear to god!” Chanyeol roared as he rose from the confines of his duvet. “Why do we do this every. Single. ing. Morning.” He reached Sehun’s room and switched off the clock, finally the dorm was plunged into a calming silence. The quiet was one that only roommates really could share. 

   Unless you’re rooming with Oh Sehun that is. 

“Chanyeol, make me breakfast”

 “I’m showering first this morning”

 “could you write this paper for me?”

 “Chanyeol lets go shopping!”

 “No, ok, no and no,” Chanyeol yawned, his best friend was a brat. He had no idea how he ended up with both the messiest and most irritating kid in the world, what god had he angered? 

 “One day you’ll appreciate me, whatever,” checking his nails and appearing uninterested in his roommates mood, Sehun continued, “besides, I’m taking you out tonight so you can finally get laid, I think your grumpiness is cause by ual starvation.”

 “ual what?”

 “ual starvation,” Sehun raised an eyebrow, “I googled it the other day, ‘Why is my roommate so annoyed with me all the time?’”

 “Because you never clean up, you eat my cereal and you use all the hot water-“

 “And google told me you were ually starved, and I thought, that’s so right!”

 “Ive been laid recently!” Chanyeol defended himself. 

“From the colour of your ears I can tell that’s a lie.” With a roll of his eyes, Sehun brushed passed Chanyeol, “if you don’t have a tonight I’ll castrate you.” 

“Thanks...buddy.” Scoffed Chanyeol. 

 “Rest up Yeol,” Sehun opened the front door, somehow throughout the conversation he hadn’t got changed and completely ready for his lecture without the talker noticing, “I want you ready by 9pm sharp!”
