Ever since the day Kim Youngwoon was born, Jungsoo was always with him.

When Youngwoon cried, Jungsoo would be there to comfort him and share his grief. When Youngwoon was not fed, Jungsoo would be there to sneak him food while his parents weren’t looking. When Youngwoon got into trouble, Jungsoo would be the one to divert the trouble and keep Youngwoon from harm. When Youngwoon was hurt, Jungsoo would be the one to ease the pain and take it himself.

It would and will always be this way, Jungsoo would give and Youngwoon would take.

Even though Jungsoo was forced to watch, for watch was all he could ever do, he would want it no other way. Even though he never got anything in return, for Youngwoon knew nothing about him, he wouldn’t trade his job for the world.

And even though guardian angels were not supposed to love those who they took under their protection, no one could ever stop the heart from beating for someone else.
