GD is back to his office and looks at remaining work. He takes a seat then focusing on his works. While he reading the file, suddenly Mr. Lee knock the door

“May I coming, sir?” Mr. Lee asked the permission. GD looks at Mr. Lee then nodded.

“How’s the Jeju?” Mr. Lee asked him with smile.

“Not bad.” GD just answers casually with no expressions. Mr. Lee noticed GD in an unhappy mood. So he stops asking him more about the trip. He put some file for GD review. Afterward, he walks away leave the office but GD stops him and asks

“Did you anything news about Mr. Choi?”

“Not yet, sir. But I’m just curious why he always goes to Mr. Kim residents and stare at the house. After while he just leave without doing anything” Mr. Lee said with curious expressions. GD heard that then he pondering for a while.

“Hurm…so, he is just observing the house?” GD asked. Mr. Lee just nodded.

“It’s so suspicious. I think he looking for her or he have other intention” GD said it slowly.

“Okay, hyung. Let me know if you have any news” GD continues said then he focusing on his works. Mr. Lee nodded before leave the office.

Afterward, GD stands up stretching his body then walks toward windows. He looks at the highway congestion below and pondering. He grab his phone in his pocket then he dial someone numbers.

“Hello, Jiwoong. It’s me, Jiyoung. Can I meet you today?” GD saked

“I’m sorry, Jiyoung. I have a lunch with Appa. Can we meet this night?” Jiwoong asked back.

“Ouh…It’s okay. Then, how about we meet tonight at TOP bar.? It’s nearby Sinsa-dong” GD said.

“Okay, I meet you there.” Jiwoong replied then they hang up the phone.

After GD hang up the phone, someone knock his office door. He looks and saw Mr. Kwon stand there and smile.

“Hello, young men. How are you doing? It’s a while I didn’t see you in an office” Mr. Kwon said and take a seat. GD smile then walks toward him.

“I’m, sorry, Appa. I have a things to do but don’t worries. I can finish this work these weeks.” GD replied and seat beside him.

“Oh, don’t bother. It’s not about the works. I’m just asking you because I didn’t see you around lately” Mr. Kwon said then pat GD shoulder.

“Your, Omma missed you. Why don’t you call her?” Mr. Kwon asked.

“I’m sorry. I’ll just something to handle. I will go back home this weekend.” GD replied with smile.

“Are you okay? You have something to tell me?” Mr. Kwon asked while looks at GD unhappy expressions. GD looks at his Appa then said

“I’m fine. Just a little bit tired”

“Hurm…” Mr. Kwon looks at GD for a while then he asks

“So, when I can meet her? The arrangement it’s ready” Mr. Kwon continues. GD stunned by Mr. Kwon words. Then he just silent for a while then rubs his face. Mr. Kwon noticed something wrong with his son. He tries to comfort him and said

“It’s hard to get her, huh? So, this one is really precious” GD looks at his Appa then smile bitterly.

“It’s weird to see you chasing a women because you are the one that be pursued” Mr. Kwon continues and chuckles. GD also smiles when he heard his Appa words.

“Actually, what she’s doing? What’s wrong with her family?” Mr. Kwon tries to digging the secrets. GD hesitates for a while then he pondering while looking at his desk. Mr. Kwon asks

“She’s is the one that you want for your future?” GD nodded then said

“I really love her, Appa. I want to be with her” he said without any sense of shame. He just be honest his feeling and he want his Appa know about that. Mr. Kwon tries again to digging the secret and asks

“Actually, what’s wrong? You can tell me. If there anything that I could help I will help you, son” GD looks at his Appa then he take a deep breath. Then GD tells him everything about his problem with Taeyeon, Mr. Choi crime toward Mr. Kim Company, everything except the gun that Mr. Choi buys from the dark market. He doesn’t want make his Appa worries. He just makes sure that thing only him and Mr. Lee knowing about that. Mr. Kwon stunned by GD stories. He feels sorry toward Mr. Kim family. He just keeps silent after heard GD stories and that make him pondering for a while before said

“I feel sorry toward them. It’s good to hear that you want to help her. I think I can help you for the company. I will talk to Mr. Song about this. He is Mr. Kim friend, right?” Mr. Kwon asked

“Yes. Mr. Song know his family because he attend their family funerals before” GD said

“Thank, Apaa. I owe you this time” GD continues

“No. Just consider me just build business relation.” Mr. Kwon said and smile

“And help you catch your love” he continues. GD smile and hugs his Appa tightly.

“Love you, Appa” GD said while hugging him.

Jiwoong walks toward the restaurant that his Appa told him to meet. When he arrives, only a few people are seen in the restaurant. He didn’t saw his Appa. So, he assumes that he didn’t arrive yet. While he goes to the counter, the worker asks him

“What’s your name, sir?”

“Erm…I think we books under Mr. Kim name” Jiwoong said to the worker.

“Oh, Mr.Kim. He is already here. Come and follow me.” The worker replied while Jiwoong to the VIP room. Jiwoong noticed that the room are somewhat hidden at the end of the restaurant. He looks around and saw there are many VIP room are closed from the others.

“Here, sir.” The worker said then Jiwoong enter the room. He saw his Appa seat there alone while looking at his planner. Mr. Kim noticed Jiwoong enter the room then he smile.

“You arrived.” Mr. Kim said.

“Yes. Nice place here” Jiwoong said while looking around the restaurant.

“You like it? It’s one of my favorite places to eat alone but today, I want to eat with you” Mr. Kim said and smile. Jiwoong looks at his Appa and feels curious because he suddenly want to have a lunch with him in this private restaurant.

“Come, looks what you want. It’s my treat” Mr. Kim said while give the menu to Jiwoong. Jiwoong just take it and looks at the menu randomly. After they make the decision, Mr. Kim calls the waiter and orders their food. Afterward, Mr. Kim looks at Jiwoong then he smile bitterly.

“You are really grown up now. I’m sorry for ignoring before this.” Mr. Kim suddenly said. Jiwoong looks at his Appa while frown.

“Its okay, Appa. I’m fine. You did a great job as a father to me, Taeyeon and Hayeon.” Jiwoong said to make his Appa ease.

“But, you are the one that I always keep ignoring because I think you are my son and you can be survive” Mr. Kim said while looking at Jiwoong.

“It is okay, Appa. I understand.”Jiwoong said then smile.

Then Mr. Kim takes a deep breath for a while then he pondering. Jiwoong noticed that and asks

“Are you okay, Appa?” Mr. Kim looks at Jiwoong with sad expressions.

“I want to tell you something but before that…” Mr. Kim pause for a while thinking something

“Promise me that you will take a good care your Omma and siblings?” Mr. Kim asked. Jiwoong feels uncomfortable with Mr. Kim request. Then he looks at his Appa and he just nodded.

“Good. I know I can count on you. That’s my son” Mr. Kim said then smiles widely.

“What’s wrong, Appa?” Jiwoong asked curiously.

“Nothings” Mr. Kim said while smile bitterly.

“You can trust me, Appa. I know there is something wrong. You told me that I’m your son. So let me help you” Jiwoong said tries to persuade Mr. Kim. Mr. Kim looks at him deeply then he said

“If anything happen to me, the company is yours” Those statements make Jiwoong stunned. He doesn’t think that his Appa will say that.

“Why suddenly?” Jiwoong asked

“He betrayed me.” Mr. Kim said. Jiwoong looks at him with confuse expression.

“Mr. Choi. He betrayed me.” Mr. Kim said again

“I found out that he was trying to sell the company to the mafia.” Mr. Kim continues. Jiwoong didn’t make surprise expression because he knows about Mr. Choi crime.

“I heard a phone conversation between him with the mafia” Mr. Kim told Jiwoong how he knows about that.

“Then, what would you do?” Jiwoong asked

“I fired him already but…” Mr. Kim pause

“But…what?” Jiwoong asked impatiently.

 “He threatened me.” Mr. Kim said with sad expressions.

“What did he said?” Jiwoong asked again.

“He warn me not to report him to the police or he will hurt our family” Mr. Kim said and rubbing his face. Jiwoong stunned for a while then he pondering.

“Calm down, Appa.” Jiwoong tries to calm his Appa

“I will do something for you and protect the family. Trust me” Jiwoong said and smile.

“But…he will hurt you too” Mr. Kim said

“Don’t worry. I will take a good care of myself” Jiwoong said but in same times he feels furious toward Mr. Choi.

“Did he still come to meet you after you fired him?” Jiwoong asked

“No, he didn’t. That makes me feels more insecure” Mr. Kim replied.

“Hurm… don’t worry, Appa. Everything will be fine” Jiwoong said tries to make his Appa calm. Mr. Kim just nodded. After that, Jiwoong feels he needs to take an action toward Mr. Choi. He thinks that Mr. Choi will do anything to achieve his intention. That makes him feel insecure.

“I’m so sorry toward you and Taeyeon. I didn’t expect him to be like this” Mr. Kim said with frustrate feelings.

“No, Appa. At least, you know it before he sells the company.” Jiwoong said.

“I should trust my family members instead of him.” Mr. Kim keeps blaming himself. Jiwoong just keep silent and let his Appa spill his regrets.

“I know that you and Taeyeon are investigating him. I saw the papers in Taeyeon room.” Mr. Kim suddenly told him. Those make Jiwoong stunned then said

“We’re sorry, Appa. It’s was us tries to protect you from him”

“Yes. I understand but what you going to do with that? You can’t just go the police like that. He will notice and that make our family in danger” Mr.Kim said with anxious.

“I’m scare that he will do anything toward Taeyeon because she refuse his propose before” Mr. Kim said again while rub his face. Jiwoong just nodded. He also worries toward Taeyeon. He knows that Mr. Choi will do anything toward her just like his former fiancée.

“Don’t worry, Appa. I will protect her no matter what” Jiwoong promised to his Appa.

Taeyeon lay on her bed after come back from the Jeju. She feels tired after a long journey. She looks around her room for a while. Suddenly, she notice recycle papers completely paste on her desk. She get up rush then looks at the papers. Then she was pondering who help her to finish the paste? Then she calls Jiwoong for asking him.

“Hello, Oppa. Where are you?” Taeyeon asked.

“Hello, I’m just finished my lunch” Jiwoong said while looking at his Appa in front of him. Jiwoong is mouthing Taeyeon toward his Appa. Mr. Kim just nodded.

“What’s up? You’re home already?” Jiwoong continues.

“Yup. Oh Oppa, did you get into my room?” Taeyeon asked

“Oh, yes. I have. You notice the papers, huh?” Jiwoong asked her back.

“Yup. Thanks for your help. I owe you this time” Taeyeon said while holding the papers.

“Don’t bother. We are in a same team, right? So what are you going to do with that?” Jiwoong asked curiously.

“I don’t know. I will think about it later. Right now, I’m too tired” Taeyeon replied.
