8:02
8:01Taeyeon blinked as she roused from her sleep. The clock on the wall reads 8:01, noticed Taeyeon. It was an exceptionally unusual time to be awake but she felt oddly well rested. Stifling a yawn that bubbled from the pit of her stomach, Taeyeon tossed to her right to continue her slumber.
Taeyeon let a small smile graced her lips when fingers playing danced across her face and a giggle delightfully tickled her ears.
"Good morning, sleepy head."
Taeyeon cracked her eyes open to see Tiffany gazing at her affectionately.
"How are you feeling?"
"Great," Taeyeon pulled Tiffany closed to her, fitting her head under her chin.
"It doesn't hurt?"
"Not anymore," Taeyeon exhaled in contentment. "I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault." Tiffany kissed the crown of Taeyeon's head.
"We should have gone home that day."
"Baby..."
"I should have listened when you insisted on having ramyeon."
"You just wanted me to have a better dinner, baby," Tiffany her hair. "I don't blame you."
"It's my fault."
"Whatever is meant to happen, will happen, Taeyeon. It's not up to us to stop it."
"I'm sorry for causing you pain."
"It's okay, Taeyeon. You're here and that's all that matter now," Tiffany whispered.
"I hope Juhyun will be okay." Taeyeon sighed.
"We will watch over her, won't we?" Tiffany smiled.
Taeyeon hummed, dozing off as Tiffany drew comforting patterns on her lower back.
"You will be here right?"
"I promised, didn't I? I'll always be with you no matter what."
"Mm Tiffany?"
"Yeah?"
"You know that I love you right?"
"Double that. I love you too."
Taeyeon snuggled closer to her heaven and drifted off to a peaceful slumber.
