Seven Days

He knew she was about to ask that. He had hoped it was something else. He just didn't like saying no. But he has been interested in her for quite some time...

He smirked slyly before switching the tone of his voice into a teasing one. This wasn't the first time he's played around a bit before.

"And why should I agree, princess?" Taehyung watched as her face turned into a deeper shade of red. He bit back his smile before cocking an eyebrow at her bashful expression.

"Be-because..." She stuttered and he couldn't help but want to play around with her more.

"You don't seem like you really like me, what's your objective?" He knew everything, he knew what she was about to say. 'No! I really do like you.' It was all too familiar.

"You're right... I just want to..." She mumbled the ending and he couldn't hear properly. He sure was surprised though, he really didn't expect her to say that. Nonetheless, he went along with the flow.

"Can't hear you, sugar." He moved in a little closer and she turned her head to the side, facing away from him.

"I said! I just wanna..." She mumbled the ending once more and Taehyung moved closer, to the point where he was breathing against her skin.

"One more time?" He sing-songed. She suddenly burst out and yelled.

"I just want to do it!" Taehyung had never laughed so hard in his entire life. He watched as her face flushed red and he wiped a tear away from his eye. He looked at here a little more seriously and straightened up his uniform.

"Well, I guess I'll agree," before he could continue she screamed, "Yes! Yes! Oh my god!" He chuckled at her outburst; she still had that bright personality. She sure was pure and honest. It made him want to taint her.

"But, I want to have some fun first." He usually never had any conditions with these kinds of things, probably because he was a bit more selective when it came to certain girls. He felt a little different when he was around her, something about her just made him want to play with her.

"What do you mean by fun?" She looked at him like a lost puppy. He patted the top of her head before handing her a piece of paper with an address, phone number, and date on it. Before she could ask any follow up questions, he had already left to go home. Hanhui glanced at the paper down in front of her and looked at the date first.

Sunday 10:00 am

---

At the moment, it was Sunday 7:00 am. Hanhui was extremely nervous, she could tell by first glance of the address that it was a house, not like a park or anything; so, it was safe to assume that she was going to his house.

But when a girl goes to a boy's house for any reason, it will usually end in something like unplanned kids. Of course, she was only basing all of this from her vast experiences with fanfictions and Korean dramas. She was just hoping that she wouldn't have to come home and tell her parent that she would have grandchildren.

Besides, he probably knows to use protection, right?

She still had about 3 hours before she was actually supposed to be there, and she wasn't really in the mood to go back to sleep. All she could do was probably study; she had already showered so why not?

In all honesty, Hanhui hated studying more than she hated cucumbers; which was ironic since she was eating a bowl of cucumbers the other night and she was studying the other night as well. But just because you don't enjoy something doesn't mean you can just not involve yourself with it.

"Hanhui! Are you awake? I need you to go get some stuff at the grocery store! I don't feel like standing right now." She could hear her mom yelling from downstairs like a maniac. Hanhui her heel away from her desk and towards the door instead. At least she didn't have to put herself through hell.

She ran down the stairs as fast as she possibly could and stood in front of her mom, who was sitting on the couch with her face mask on and the "Titanic" playing on the television. Hanhui flattened her eyes and her mom gave her an eye smile.

"Can you get me some microwave popcorn, thanks I love you." It wasn't even a question that was asked, more of a command. Nonetheless, Hanhui loved her mom and still went to go to get the popcorn, not feeling burdened at all.

She slipped on her sneakers; since she would probably go to Taehyung's right after picking up some popcorn and dropping it back off at her house. She grabbed the car keys without even checking at which car she was going to take and walked out the house, locking the door behind her.

She pressed the 'unlock' button on the controls to see which car would brighten its headlights, that'd be the car she would drive to the store then back home and then to Taehyung's house.

She sure does wish that her mom won't find out that she's going to a guys house. Her mom wouldn't scold her or anything; on the contrary, she would support it and even try to plan a wedding. That's the only reason why she doesn't want her mom to know.

Hanhui stuck the key into the ignition and waited until she heard the sound of the engine to turn on. She switched on the radio to one of her favorite songs to calm her down.

It's not like Hanhui was nervous about going to a boy's house, other than her cousins, by herself for the first time. Why would you ever think that? Her sweaty palms and racing heart had nothing to do with it either. That's what she told herself at least.

---

Hanhui was not very good with following directions... or maybe her GPS was just really bad at giving directions. Because it couldn't find the street she was supposed to be on.

Either way, she has been driving around the rich part of town for the past hour and still hasn't had any luck with finding Taehyung's dwelling. All of these houses looked the same to her; as in they were all big, fancy, and modern.

She lived in a quiet neighborhood with a bunch of cute old couples occupying the community. She was not prepared to be where there was a bunch of scary wealthy people... not like she was calling Taehyung a 'scary wealthy person.'

Hanhui was driving in circles and she could tell. She has passed by the same stupid elephant-shaped bush more than twice already and though she did think elephants were adorable, this one seemed to slap her in the face for the fact that she couldn't find the house she was looking for in less than an hour.

She parked the car against an empty curb and looked at the paper once more, to make sure she was in the right place.

Hanhui realized that as she looked at the address, the written date on the paper was upside down. She has been looking for 011 on 문 street right now and that address doesn't even exist. No wonder she couldn't find it!

She rotated the paper, so that the writing on it was right-side up and everything seemed to make sense now. She was on the wrong street. She was supposed to be on 곰 street and not 문 street.

That's why she couldn't find his address! She should've trusted her gut that was saying the name of 문 (mun meaning door) street was ridiculous.곰 (gom meaning bear) street made much more sense. Moreover, she's never heard of an address starting with a '0' as the first digit.

She glanced at her phone's lock screen and she had... 5 minutes?! She quickly typed in the correct address into her GPS at fast as she could with her eyes as wide as plates.

She didn't know how fast the speed limit was in this part of town, but looks like she was going to be breaking it. #SavageHanhui

"You're late, babe." Taehyung stated as he leaned against the door frame. She bowed at a 90° angle as an apology and to cover up her red cheeks.

He his heel and took a couple of steps towards his spiral staircase. He waited at the bottom for a few seconds but decided she was taking to long for this 'apology' and walked up by himself.

She wasn't that late, it was 10:08 right now. He didn't really blame her or get mad at her. There was no reason for him to do so. He just really liked to .

"Are you coming up or not?" He gave her a cheeky smile and leaned against the railing to wait for her as she slipped off her sneakers and ran to catch up with him. Gosh, she was cute.

He was ahead of her by a lot of steps, so naturally he arrived at the second floor first. He stopped at the top of the stairs, with his back facing it. After hearing her soft footsteps race their way up, a smile crept to his face.

A soft thump hit his back, just as he expected, and he turned around to find Hanhui gently rubbing her forehead. He let out a hearty laugh as she blew a raspberry out of frustration. Every action she made was always so adorable to him.

He just couldn't get enough of her.

"You ready for today?" He gave her an eye smile and ruffled her hair a bit, just to tick her off. Hanhui lightly slapped away his gesture with a pout on her face as she used her hands to pat down the flyaways that had been created from him.

"What are we doing, anyway?" She asked confused as she ran her fingers along one of the many flower vases. He motioned for her to follow him; he turned around quickly, to hide the grin on his face. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his favorite black joggers and fished around for his 'idea' as he walked forward towards the lounge area.

"Umm, Taehyun-" Taehyung turned around and smiled teasingly.

"I told you to call me 'V', didn't I?"

"Oh yeah... V, what are we doing?" She said as she looked around his house in curiosity. He had a very spacious home; because when you're the son of two workaholic business parents, you can have a nice house and nice things and money to spend. Though, sometimes he did wish his parents were home more often.

V jumped onto the sofa happily and pulled a couple of flashcards out of his pocket. Hanhui stood there awkwardly, not really knowing what she should be doing, and decided to sit down in one of the armchairs to make it seem like she wasn't as uncomfortable as she appeared to be.

He watched as she fiddled with the hem of her blouse nervously and this time he really couldn't hold back his thoughts.

"You're really cute." He said as he organized the cards into a neat stack and sat up to explain what he and Hanhui were going to be doing. Taehyung's expression brightened as he watched her cheeks grow red in embarrassment. He waited for her to calm down before continuing with what he was about to say.

"Do you see these cards right here?" He said as he fanned them out with the writing facing towards him. Hanhui nodded her head eagerly, ready to finally hear what was going to be going on; she thought he took too long to get to the point of things.

"They're get-to-know-you flashcards."

"What are we going to do with them?"

"We're going to ask the cat about fortune-telling—I'm going to get to know you, of course! You ding dong!" His eyes flattened sarcastically. He didn't know if she was just playing dumb or was an actual airhead. I mean, what else would you use these kind of flashcards for? Cutting onions?

"Oh! Then let's get started! What would you like to know?" Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction. Most girls would have been embarrassed right now; but she was so perky and positive, it made the atmosphere in the room much more relaxed than before.

He shuffled the cards once more as he refrained from laughing at her face that looked so determined and ready for anything that's about to come her way. His posture straightened up and he cleared his throat in order for him to avoid any voice cracks and to calm himself down.

"First question-"

"Wait! Are you going to be answering them too? I don't want to be the only one talking about myself... I want to learn about you as well." Gosh she really was cute. He wanted to just wrap her up in a blanket and feed her cookies all day long.

"Fine, I will. Question one; what is your favorite food?" This was essential to Taehyung. He had already planned a few dates between the two of them and he needed to know what she liked so he didn't get stuff she didn't like.

"Ooh, umm. Samgyeopsal (삼겹살 or pork belly)." She hesitated around the first part of her sentence, since she hadn't really given much thought as to what her favorite food was. She just loved anything edible and made with love. She was a major foodie.

"What about mint chocolate?" Taehyung was so sure it was going to be something sweet; since she herself was pretty sweet—and she always seemed to be munching on a little piece of chocolate whenever he had the chance to take a quick glance at her.

She looked at him with her head slightly tilted to the side indicating she was confused.

"You know, that chocolate you always keep inside your pocket? You eat them when you're alone so you can calm down." He answered back with a nostalgic smile as his eyes stared right into hers. He would always remember her sneakily taking the chocolate out of her pocket and eating it before a History test.

His gaze made her blush. She was being stared at with those eyes that felt as if they were seeing straight through her. She had to get out of this situation ASAP.

"Th-then... what do you like?" She managed to stammer out. Taehyung slouched back against the back of the sofa, beaming with amusement after the success of getting her flustered. He had to think a bit before he spoke up.

"Hmmm... I like girls!" Hanhui's eyes flattened at his reply.

"Girls are not food!" She retorted back and crossed her arms at the playboy.

"But doing it is somewhat similar to eating," He ran his hand through his hair slowly as his eyes focused onto a flower that was wilting in a vase, arranged on the coffee table, "You eat the girl out—" He grabbed the blossom and crushed it into his hand, watching the pieces fall onto the wooden floor.

"Okay! I get it!" She interrupted,  "You're such a douche..." She mumbled half joking and half serious, as she crossed her legs. He didn't care much for a girls' feelings at all; actually maybe that was a good thing for her. So she wouldn't fall in love with him.

"And who wanted to do it with the douche?"

She jumped a little in shock and beamed at him, embarrassed. Taehyung returned the smile and moved on to the next flash card, stuffing the first one at the back of the stack. There were still so many questions he had to ask; more like wanted to ask.

"Okay, question two..."

---

Hanhui didn't even realize that it had gotten so late; she was having such a fun time with Taehy- V, she meant, that she totally forgot to check the time. To be honest, she thought he was nice and then she thought he was a jerk and right now, she though he was nice again. He was confusing... she believed all men were confusing actually.

Nonetheless, he was actually a pretty good person with really bad jokes that seemed really unfit to tell at school... or at church... or in any public place.

"I have to get going." She said in between giggles as she stared at the time on her phone. He gave her a pout, but nodded his head as he escorted her down the stairs and towards the door. He patted the top of her head and nodded for her to go on, saying he would watch her off.

Hanhui got into her vehicle and turned the key into ignition multiple times, but the car still wouldn't start. Her eyes glanced over at the gas, which was empty, and moaned out loud. Her nerves got the best of her again when she was on her way to Taehyung's.

I guess driving around town aimlessly really ate up my gas, she thought to herself.

She really didn't want to call her mom; she would just ask why she was at a guy's house and so many other questions about if she finally got a boyfriend.

It's pretty hard for a mom to resist begging for someone as good-looking as Taehyung to be their son-in-law.

Hanhui glanced over to the male, who was still leaning against his doorway; he mouthed an 'is everything alright' to her and made his way over to where she was parked. She exited her vehicle to talk to him; actually more like she exited the vehicle to ask for a ride home.

"Did you use up all your fuel on a race or something?" He laughed out loud with his hands still in his pockets.

"Well, I did use up all of it..." She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.

Taehyung didn't mind; in fact, he was a little excited he got to spend a little more time with her.

"I'll take you home on one condition." Hanhui pouted at the single finger he held up. Another condition? He already gave conditions for... sleeping with him... and now she has a condition for getting a ride home?

"What is it?" She said, giving into it once more.

"We're getting ice cream first."

---

"Ew, you're such a pig." He laughed as he watched her devour most of a scoop in one bite. Hanhui ignored him and continued to enjoy her ice cream. Food always tastes better when you're not the one paying for it. And guess what? Hanhui didn't pay for the ice cream! Taehyung did! Score!

Taehyung secretly removed his mobile out from his pocket and scooted right next her while she was eating. He quickly switched to the camera and snapped a picture as fast as he could. She didn't notice though, she was too busy looking out the window at a cat to be bothered about what Taehyung was doing.

His eyes brightened at the photo and he set it as his screen saver, then slipped it back into his pocket; making sure Hanhui didn't notice anything at all. It was a good thing his ringer was off.

He felt like he was forgetting something... oh right. He was supposed to be taking her home.

"Wanna get going now? I wouldn't want this shop to run out of ice cream."

"Ha ha ha." She retorted back sarcastically. She stood up, following right behind Taehyung who opened the door for her.

"Hey Hanhui." Her ears perked up at the sound of her name being called.

"Yes?" He smiled cheekily and ruffled up her hair, in which she groaned in response.

"I had fun today."
