CHAPTER 16: Snow Flower

Minhyun who was chatting with Jaehwan and Sungjae got distracted when he heard someone’s yelling.

“Ya, Kwak Hanna, do you want to die?!”

Turned out it was his best friend's voice. He saw Dongho was trying to catch Hanna.

"What are they doing?" Asked Jaehwan who also saw them. “Minhyun hyung, do they always act like little kids, playing catch and run like that?"

Minhyun was having a second embarrassment seeing his best friend's childish interaction. He even answered, "Don't ask me, I don't know them."

Listened to that, Sungjae laughed. "Don't they look cute? I mean, they really look like enjoying it."

Sungjae's words made Minhyun looking up to see Dongho and Hanna again, and he just realized something. In the middle of their catch and run, Hanna looked so happy. She was smiling brightly while avoiding Dongho. And somehow it made him uncomfortable. No, I'm not jealous. It's only Dongho. Hanna doesn't like him. Minhyun told himself.

But then he saw Dongho head-lock-ing Hanna. As she was trying to escape, Dongho even ruffled her hair badly making it messy.

Hish, that kid. Minhyun was ready to stop Dongho for doing that ridiculous thing, but then he was the one who stopped walking. That because he saw someone has already did what he wanted to do.

Jonghyun has making his way to separate those two fools.

Minhyun sighed. Why do I always late?

"Dongho ya, stop it."

Jonghyun has successfully making Dongho to release his head lock on Hanna.

Hanna directly ran to Jonghyun. "Jonghyun aah.."

"You shouldn't stop me, Jonghyun ah. She deserves it." Dongho told Jonghyun firmly.

"She's a girl, Dongho. She doesn't deserve this Barbar treatment." Jonghyun said it as he helped Hanna combing her messy hair.

"She's not a girl for me." Dongho responded fast.

With that, Sangbin tried to . "Wooo, who said that he's Hanna's guardian few minutes ago?" Daniel joined to laugh with Sangbin.

Hanna even added, "Jonghyun is my real guardian." She stuck out her tongue to Dongho and he responded with a glare.

Didn’t want them to get fight again, Daniel tried to divert their attention with asking Jonghyun, "By the way, where have you been, Hyung?"

Jonghyun turned to face Daniel and answered, "Ah, visiting other classes. Each classes has a good theme."

"Really? I want to visit other classes too." Hanna responded fast.

Dongho then said, "Let's go together."

And Hanna simply responded with, "Okay."

Daniel chuckled. Just a moment ago, they were fighting so hard but in the next second they comfortably want to go together. Daniel always admire Dobong-dong kids friendship.

As Dongho started to walk with Hanna, Minhyun ran and got in the middle of them as he said, "I’m in!”. He could only give them a foolish grin.

They went visiting the other classes in group. Jonghyun was right, each of classes has their unique theme. It looked like they were really working hard in this competition because the output was outstanding. Hanna, Minhyun, and Dongho enjoyed it so much. Hanna thought, Yes, an event like this is good for the students to refresh from daily study routines. I like it.

Finished with the Open Class, the students moved their attention to prepare for the Performing Night. They were busy preparing their stage outfit, stage properties, and also wearing makeup. Their sunbae as the committee of the event were also busy preparing the hall. They needed to bring many chairs into the hall since all of the students and the teachers will gather to watch the performances. They also prepared the lighting in order to make the performance shown better.

Hours passed so fast, it was already 5 p.m when the event scheduled to be started. Most of the guests (the other student class 3 and the teachers) has coming, so the MC was ready to come out and start the event.

"Anyeonghaseyo, yeorobuuun." The MC made a greeting as they came out to the stage with a formal outfit.

"I'm Yoon Jisung."

"I'm Ong Seungwoo."

"We are the MC for tonight. OngSung OngSung OngSung imnida!" They started the event with a joke that successfully bring laughter.

Ong said, "As we know, tonight will be the night for Daesang High School students to show off their talents."

"To impress the audiences." Added Jisung.

"Yes, and it will also be the last night for our sunbae in class 3, for you Hyung, before the graduation day after tomorrow.."

Jisung replied, "Yes, it will be a memorable night for me especially, because I will miss my friends and my hoobae so much."

"But I think we're not going to miss you, Hyung." Ong jokefuly said that and it brought another laughter.

Continued with the MC-ing, Jisung said, "Because it is actually a competition, let's start the event with reading the rules. You can open the link that has been shared in your group chat, then as the representatives of each classes perform, you can pick your top 3 favorites for each categories."

"You have to insert your student number, so this judging will only do by students from class 3." Added Ong.

Jisung then asked, "Can I also pick my favorites performer?"

"Yes, Hyung, you’re a student from class 3 so you can join the judging.” Ong answered, then jokefuly said, “Please pick my class, Social 2-B."

Ignoring what Ong said, Jisung continued, "Okay, so students from class 3, I hope you join this voting system fairly. And what about we start the performances?"

"Yes, to open this event, let's call our amazing choir group, Daesang Choir!"

Hanna came out with her choir group in their light blue outfit, and Ms. Shin as the conductor. She asked the audiences to stand and sing along to the national anthem and school march.

As the performance ended, Hanna directly went down the stage. She walked to the audience seat to join her classmates, but then she saw Jonghyun waving his hands to her.

Hanna naturally walked approaching him.

She sat next to him. "Is it okay if I sit here?"

"Why? There's no rules to sit according to your class. One of the purposes of this event is to socialize, so sitting with other class' students is good." Jonghyun answered.

"Yes, Mr. School representative, the pleasure is all mine to have a chance to sit next to you." Hanna said it while smiling.

Jonghyun could only laugh
