Prologue

“Because I was wearing a mask, I didn’t think that I would be so nervous… In the first round, Go Yoo Jin-sunbaenium sang so well that I thought I would fail.”

“But you managed to beat him and move onto the second round,” the radio host commented, looking at his notes before realization dawned on him. “Ahh… but you met with Jung Eunji in the second round.” He threw Jaehwan a sympathetic look. 

Jaehwan laughed. “Yes, that’s right.”

“Well I guess it is really important and matters who you go up against in such competitions,” the host shared wisely.

“Yes, that’s right,” Jaehwan agreed. “The better singer won that night, and I’m just glad for the exposure and the experience.”

“Jung Eunji is certainly a vocal powerhouse, and I heard that she has an equally lovely personality too.”

“Yes, she does,” Jaehwan agreed.

"It was amazing; I have no regrets."
