Irene has been so much stress this past few days. One,because she always stay up all night to study all her lesson for the incoming examination and second,for thinking about the mysterious girl who always sleeping in class named Wendy Son. 

She doesn't really know why she feels curious all of a sudden on the said girl but all she knows was whoever Wendy is,she will find it out soon in her own way.

 

It was lunch break and everyone were all gathered in the school cafeteria.

Seulgi,Irene and Solar are walking together on the school hall going to the cafeteria when suddenly someone caught Irene attention causing her to slow her pace just to make sure that she saw the person right.

She stop on her trance to focus her eyes on the said person who was about to turn on the corner going to the school rooftop.

Shifting her gaze unto the other two who were walking side by side ahead of her while busy laughing on something,oblivious on her absence.

Heaving a long deep sigh,she look away from the two and focuses her eyes again on the corner where the person has turn. After more than a minute of contemplating to not go or go after the person,Irene decided to take the second option as she slowly took her step unto the school's rooftop.

 

Climbing on the stairs going up to the rooftop became a torture for Irene,she don't know why exactly but all she knows was her heart started to beat erratically like it was about to jump out from her body any minute and her palms started to sweat that she could no longer twist the doorknob because it's keep on slipping from her hold

 

 

What's wrong with you,Irene? Why you so nervous right now? 

 

 

Slowly opening the door as she peak on the slightly ajar door and roam her eyes around the empty place.

Her eyebrows knitted when after almost a minute of roaming her eyes around she couldn't still find the person. So she decided to widely open the door and let her feet step unto it.

But to her surprise,someone suddenly grab her forearm and swiftly pin her unto the cold wall with the person's hand on each side of her head,trapping her so she couldn't be able to skip.

She was about to free from the hold when the person's face suddenly leaned closer to her causing her to leaned her head back again on the cold wall to give enough space between their faces.

Irene was froze on her spot. She felt her feet were rooted on the floor. Her breathing hitch because of the close proximity between her face and the person's face that she could be able to feel and smell the person's sweet and fresh breath. Her heart clenched as the person's eyes gaze unto her.

 

"Why you following me?" the person's hoarse yet cool voice snap her thought

Irene felt the person's breath tingles along the hair on her face that brought her goosebump

 

 

"I...I didn't...f-following y-you" she stuttered nervously as she absentmindedly grip on the fabric of her skirt to support herself

 

The person remained silent for more than a minute. She never took her eyes off from Irene

 

"But why is it that your eyes telling me that your lying?" The person commented more than questioned,narrowing her eyes as she give Irene a suspicious look

 

Irene was totally surprise to hear the person's word but there's no way she will let herself embarrased infront of the latter

 

"O-of course not!" she retort. Feeling her cheeks started to heat up in full embarassment

 

Again,the person didn't say a word. She let her eyes observe Irene's facial expression that makes the latter felt uncomfortable so she immediately lowered her head to hide her face. Biting her lower lips and closing her eyes to ease the embarrasment she feels inside.

But little did Irene knows,the latter was already enjoying the moment as a smile started to tug at the corner of her lips but even if how much she really enjoy the moment she needs to end it to let the latter breath comfortably again.

 

Slowly,the person withdraw her hands from the wall giving enough distance between her and Irene. Flashing a smile again before turning her back and walked towards the edge of the rooftop.

 

Feeling the person's absence infront of her,Irene slowly open her eyes as she lifted her head up only to saw the person already walking away from her.

 

Irene heave a long deep sigh before rubbing her chest to comfort her already abuse heart.

 

They stay like that for almost a minute,the person standing at the edge of the rooftop with her eyes looking at somewhere else and Irene leaning agasinst the cold wall as her eyes looking at the back figure of the person

 

Heaving a long deep sigh Irene started to talk again 

 

"Why you always alone?" she asked in a louder voice for the person to be able to hear her since they were standing almost a meter away from each other

 

The person look over her shoulder before answering Irene's question

 

"Why you asking?"

 

"I..I'm just curious..yeah I'm just curious" Irene answered as she nodded her head,feeling contented with her answer

 

 

The person look at her front again before uttering a words

 

 

"Because I want to"she started"Why? Is it forbidden?" she added as she look over her shoulder again

 

"O-of course not" Irene answered immediately as she wave her hands infront repeatedly"That's not what I meant" Irene added in almost a whisper but little did she know that she say it loud enough for the latter to hear as a smile formed on the corner of her lips again 

 

Heaving a long deep sigh,the person turn around to face Irene's direction again,hiding her smile by replacing it with her usual cold and boring look and aura

 

 

"Then what do you meant by that?" The person asked the surprises Irene as she put her hands behind her and started fidgeting her fingers(her way when she's having trouble in answering a sudden question)

 

"I..You know,we've been in the same class for more than a week now but I haven't still given a chance to know something about...you" Irene said carefully,biting her lower lips again as she let her eyes observed the latters face expression

 

 

The person didn't uttered a words. She just remained her look on Irene with a serious expression on her face making Irene's heart beat erratically in too much nervousness as she waited for the person to say something again

 

Heaving a long deep sigh,the person started walking towards her direction. Stopping infront of Irene before leaning her face closer to her causing Irene to leaned back to maintain enough distance between them

 

"Are you really sure you want to know something about me?" The person asked in her hoarse voice

 

Biting her lower lips,Irene manage to answer back"...Y-yes" she said as she bravely look unto the latters eyes

 

It was a moment of complete silence before the corner of person's lips tug up

 

"Let see how far could you hold that words of yours"the person started"But I'm telling you,there's nothing special about my life."she added before leaning back and walking towards the door but before she could fully step out of the door Irene's word suddenly stop her from her trance

 

"I...I'll still want to do it. I don't care if there's nothing special about your life...but...all I care is..I really want to know you better and...if it's okay with you...we could, you know...became friends like..me and Seulgi,your bestfriend" Irene said as she face the latter's direction

 

The person didn't turn her face around,it was almost a minute before she uttered a words again

 

"Do whatever you like,I will not stop you but I'm telling you again"she paused before looking over her shoulder " There's nothing special about me" she added before completely stepping out of the door leaving Irene behind

 

Irene heave a long deep sigh before she decided to step out of the door too.

 "Where have you been earlier?" Seulgi asked in a whisper,the moment they all gathered up inside their classroom

 

Irene slowly lifted her head up to look at the latter before answering the question

 

"Ahm,I just go somewhere else"she said

 

Seulgi nodded her head as she give the latter a small smile before turning her head again infront

On the other hand,Irene slowly shifted her look on the sleeping person beside her. Biting her lower lips as she heave a long deep sigh before focusing her eyes again infront.

 

"Alright,good afternoon class" Heechul suddenly step inside the room calling everyone's attention as they all (well except for the sleeping girl of course)focuses their attention on him

"Sorry to interrupt you but I just want to announced something" he started before motioning someone to come in.

 

Everyone's gaze focuses on the door as they all waited the person to reveal itself

 

After more than a minute of waiting,a girl in her school uniform and a pink backpack with her hair loosely falling from her shoulddr suddenly walked in from the door as she stop when she reach beside Heechul before completely facing everyone.

 

"Everyone,I'd like you to meet your new classmate" Heechul announced with a big smile on his face

 

"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm Kim Yerim but I prefer being called as Yeri. I am a transferee from L.A and starting today I will be your new classmate. Please take good care of me" Yeri formally introduced as she bowed her head 90 degree

 

Everyone was all surprise as they started murmuring something until the room suddenly filled with low murmured something like "She looks younger"  " She doesn't look like a senior" "Yeah she's more like a freshmen or sophomore" "Is she really belong to our class?" that never failed to get Heechul's attention

 

Clearing his throat,Heechul talked again

 

"Class please,keep quiet and let me finish my words"he started,everyone slowly stop their noise and that was Heechul's cue to continue his words

"I know,all of you are surprise because Ms.Kim here doesn't really looks like a senior student. And to be honest with you class,Ms. Kim is just a 16 year old girl,she's much younger than everyone of you here. But the question is,how does she ended up here in the senior year? It simply because she has been accelerated. She passes the acceleration exam for senior year,so that's the reason why she's here in your class" Heechul revealed causing everyone to gape their mouth in too much shocked

 

"And now that you already know the story. I expected everyone of you to take care of her as your younger sister. "Heechul said"Ms. Kim you can take your seat now. There is a vacant chair beside Ms. Kang" Heechul added as he motioned the vacant chair to Yeri

 

Yeri slightly bowed her head as she started walking towards her chair. The room suddenly filled with silence. Everyone's eyes followed Yeri until she finally reach the vacant chair. Silently putting down her bag beside her seat before opening her books,oblivious on the stares that everyone were given to her

 

Heechul cleared his throat again,getting everyone's attention as they all swiftly turn their head to face the front.

 

"I need to go now class. Don't go out the room and just wait for your next class. Ok?"

 

"Yes sir" they all responded together before Heechul completely leave the room.

 

 

"This is awkward than I expected" Yeri whispered to herself as she continue flipping her books

The class already ended as everyone started to pack up their things and gradually leaving the room.

 

Irene was busy packing up her things when she felt a light tap on her shoulder causing her to turn her head to face the person

 

"Seul?" Irene said the moment she finally recognize the person

 

Seulgi give her a smile"Hi Irene"

 

"What are you still doing here? I thought you already left?"

 

Scratching her nape Seulgi answered"I saw that your still packing your things so I decide to wait for you and by chance walked you to your dorm...again?" She hopefully said as she waited for the latter to speak a word again.

 

Irene became quiet for almost a minute before finally uttering a words

 

"Are you sure of that? You know,you don't need to do this" Irene said,feeling a bit guilty for disturbing the latter

 

Seulgi heave a sigh before walking closer to Irene that confuses the latter but what surprise her was when she felt something warm on both of her hands. She slowly look down on her hands only to find out that Seulgi's hand were holding her own

 

"You don't have to felt guilty about it. I'm happy doing it for you. Even everyday." says Seulgi as she give the latter her signature eye smile

 

They remained staring at each others eyes for almost a minute before Irene decided to give up as she nodded her head before flashing a smile to the latter

 

"Alright! I'll carry your bag" Seulgi said before swinging the latter's bag on her right shoulder while wearing her biggest and sweetest smile

 

"Is that a great achievement? Why you so happy all of sudden? " Irene asked with a giggle,a little bit surprise to see the latter's sudden change of expression

 

Seulgi look at Irene. Confused. Before answering her question

 

"Yeah..?" She answered unsured in a cute way that made Irene giggled again

 

Shooking her head,Irene decided to stop their conversation encircle her hands around the latter's arms before gently dragging Seulgi outside the room. 

Seulgi was a little bit surprise with the action but seeing how bright the latter's smile plastered on her face she ended up letting Irene drag her with a big smile on her face too.

Wendy was walking alone and silently towards the back of the campus where she has parked her motorbike.

Putting her full face helmet before hopping on.

She was about to drove off when a familiar voice suddenly stop her

 

"Are you still riding that motorbike?" The person said

 

Wendy swiftly turn her head to the person's direction. Knitting her eyebrows as she clear her vision to have a better view on the person's face

 

"I thought we already agreed to it but looks like you didn't keep your promise" the person added as she continue with her trance towards Wendy

 

"Joy?" that was the name automatically came out of Wendy's mouth with a hint of surprised on her tone expression when she finally recognize the said person

 

"Finally. I thought you forget about me too" Joy said as she give the latter a big smile

 

Wendy immediately took off her helmet before riding off from her motorbike 

 

"Wenwen! I really miss you!"Joy said in much louder voice as she practically throw herself unto the latter and engulf her in a bear-crushing hug. 

 

"Joy! You're choking me,you know that?" Wendy manage to say as she lightly push Joy away by her shoulder

 

"Opps.sorry" Joy apologize before giving the latter an apologetic smile

 

Wendy adjusted her necktie and blazer first before looking up to face the latter

 

"When did you came back?"

 

"3days ago"

 

"3days ago? And you didn't even tell me?"

 

Joy chuckled awkwardly before answering the latter question

 

"Ahm.. Surprise..?" she said in a cute way before giving Wendy a teeth and eye smile

 

"You know that,that will never work on me right?" Wendy deadpanned causing Joy to pout like a little kid sulking to her mother

 

"Why you so heart-less?" Joy whined

 

"Because I was born like this" Wendy casually said

 

Joy just rolled her eyes as she cross her arms on her chest before giving the latter a glare

 

"You haven't change. Your still the heart-less,cold,boring and killjoy Wendy Son" 

 

Wendy shrugged"I can't blame you thinking about me like that. That's my nature anyway" she said in her usual cold and uninterested tone of voice

 

"Whatever" Joy scoff

 

"Have you show up to Seulgi already?" Wendy suddenly asked,changing the previous topic

 

Hearing those question make Joy froze on her spot. were open and moving but she can't manage to form any coherent word.

Realizing the sudden quietness of the latter Wendy decided to talked again. 

 

"I'll take that as a yes" she said before hopping on her motorbike again

 

Joy was surprised that Wendy didn't even waited for her to answer but also thankful enough because she haven't got interrogated about a certain personal and confidential topic

 

"Wendy" Joy called out again calling Wendy's attention as she give Joy a glance

 

"Thank you"Joy added softly

 

Wendy look at her for a moment before nodding her head

 

"Your always welcome....Sooyoungie" Wendy teases before giving Joy a small smile which Joy returned with a sweeter smile

 

"I will let it pass right now,because I owe you something but if you tease me again next time,I will hit you" Joy warned causing Wendy to chuckled

 

"Looks like scary Sooyoung is back. Don't worry I'll make sure to ready myself if that happens"Wendy said

"I'll go now,bye Sooyoungie" Wendy added before droving off

 

Joy followed Wendy with her gaze until she's already out of her sight with a smile remained plastered on her face

 

 

"Jerk"she mumbled with a smile before started walking to the other direction
