Chapter five
MonsterAfter that exhausting night, at 7 AM Seokjin finally decided to leave that hospital and return home. He had convinced Namjoon that he wanted to go back home and that he was able to take care of himself. After all, he had nothing left to do anymore at that hospital, his parents were now gone. They had left him.
He could clearly see the big worry on Namjoon's beautiful brown eyes when he told him that he was going to go home. Namjoon didn't want to leave him, but Seokjin just needed some time alone, some time to think, some time to calm down. Namjoon had agreed, still not fully convinced so he promised to visit Seokjin right after one hour had passed. Seokjin had slowly nodded, not wanting to worry his friend more. And that's how he ended up, opening the door of his house gently and walking inside laggardly as if he wanted those moments to last forever.
He took a deep breath and the cold morning air filled his lungs. He opened his eyes, frowning immediately. Something wasn't right. His house felt fresh and cold, filled with that cool air. He didn't remember leaving a window open when he left the house. But now that he thought of it, he didn't really remember much about the condition that he left the house in. He didn't bother checking, he was busy worrying about his parents dying. So there was a possibility that one of the windows was left open. He just had to find which one.
Seokjin looked around curiously. All the windows seemed closed. Maybe the cold air was coming from an upstairs window. He was apparently right.
He went upstairs and looked around. His room's door was closed and so was the guest room's. That left only one option. His parents' room. He slowly turned around and stared at the dark room. The door was slightly open, giving him a cold breeze. He narrowed his eyes and looked at the room. It was dark, but he could see a few things. Suddenly he felt his body froze and his blood ran cold.
