Chaerin pov: 

'' I want you, Lee Chaerin '' 

I blinked twice to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Did he just say that? 

Despite my pathetic state, my heart was pounding so fast.

'' What did you just say? '' I asked

'' I want you, Chaerin. And I also want the baby. Our baby '' he said with a smile, his hands moved down to hold mine 

'' A-are you sure? Jiyong.. don't let the alcohol speak for you... You know what this means right? '' I added not completely convinced

'' More than sure actually. I really want this, from the bottom of my heart '' he started '' I am not the best guy in the world and I messed up in the past but just please give me a chance to prove to you what you really mean to me '' 

I was overwhelmed, my emotions were all over the place and anything could make me cry '' Ji... are you sure? '' 

he chuckled '' Yes, Chae '' and once again, he planted a kiss on my lips. And then, I didn't know what has gotten into me, but all I wanted to do was to hug him and that's what I did.

He hugged me back. It was so warm and it felt so good. So many things were said through that hug. After a few minutes, we finally let go of each other. 

'' Chae, I actually want to clear up some things '' he suddenly said and I felt uneasy. Please don't let anything happen to ruin this... 

'' What is it? '' 

'' Let's sit first, you must be tired '' he suggested and put me on the couch '' Do you want something to eat? or drink? huh? '' he asked 

'' No Jiyong, I am fine. Just tell me what is it because I am actually nervous '' I told him honestly

He took a deep breath, then started '' Well, you remember that night, back in high school when I invited you over? '' 

God, how can I forget it! '' Yes and I- '' 

'' You misunderstood '' he interrupted me.

I looked at him confused '' What? '' I am sure I heard him very well when he said I was a toy and nothing was serious and it was just for fun. Ugh just thinking about it makes my blood boil 

'' What you heard, it wasn't all of it. The part you heard was actually about my ex-girlfriend. Noona was worried that I will also mess up again and only keep playing. She knew everything about my ex-girlfriends so she didn't want me to keep living like that. And after all the times she heard me talking about you, she was worried that I will only be playing with you '' he stopped and squeezed my hands '' I kept telling her that it was all in the past and that Mirae was only a fling and nothing serious and for my bad luck, you happened to hear that part '' he said sadly

What? '' I... I don't understand ''

'' You were never a toy nor someone to just please me when I am bored Chaerin. You weren't and you aren't just another girl on my list. God only knows how much you mean to me. Ever since I met you in Paris and I can't spend a day without seeing you, talking to you or thinking about you. Even though I admit that it wasn't in the best way ever, but. '' he said chuckling and I couldn't help but chuckle.

'' That night, I stayed up all night waiting for you to show up but you didn't. After I saw you a few days later, I was glad jut because you were fine but once I talked to you my whole world fell apart. I can't remove your words from my mind. '' he was talking but I could feel the sadness in his voice

'' But even after that, I couldn't let go of you and I wanted to stay next to you. I needed to stay next to you so I can make sure I won't lose my mind. And the only possible way for that was to turn into your enemy. All these times, I bullied you, made fun of you, I felt somehow closer to you that actually my friends and family thought I was crazy. But I didn't care ''  

'' Jiyong... ''

'' Just let me finish please '' I nodded and he continued speaking his heart out '' You know that I only go to that uni because you're there? I woke up every day hoping that I will find the Chaerin I saw in Paris and that happened would be some kind of a prank or a nightmare. It seemed like you hated me with every passing day. '' 

'' Do you know what else I did? '' he suddenly asked

'' What? '' 

'' Ever wondered why you couldn't go on a date or that no one dared to come near to you or ask you to date him? '' I looked at him confused, I was always wondered about that and I concluded that there was something wrong with me '' It was me. If I couldn't have you then no one will so I made sure no one gets you '' 

My eyes were wide open. I never thought he'd reach tat point. He seemed to get my feelings that he smiled. 

'' You made me feeling what love is. All the time we lived together was just a few months but it meant the world to me. Thanks to you my relationship with my sister got better but because of a stupid misunderstanding, we lost years of our lives without being together. I should have insisted more and looked more into what happened but I just chose the easy way '' he admitted 

'' No Jiyong, it wasn't just your fault, okay? I should have been honest with you and I should have talked to you but I just choose to run away and not trusting you. hhh you know, all these years, I kept telling you that you're a coward but I think I am the coward one '' I said truthfully 

'' Let's just leave the past in the past, okay? Let just think about the future that we have together from to today on and let's take this a way to fix what we ruined before  '' he added and I nodded. 

I couldn't tell what I was feeling at that moment but I was over the moon. I can't believe things changed this way. 

'' Why are you crying? '' he asked worriedly 

'' I tend to cry at everything these days '' he just smiled and nodded then brought me closer to him and kissed my hair 

'' God, I just can't tell you how happy I am right now '' he revealed 

We stayed cuddling on the couch for I don't know how long. But then I remember something. 

'' Jiyong? '' 

'' Hmm '' 

'' What will happen now? '' 

I heard him sigh. He then turned me to look at him. 

'' No matter what, I won't let you go. Do you understand? '' He cleared and I nodded '' I can't tell you that things will b
