~♥~ Jiyoung POV ~♥~

It was the next day at school. I arrived the same time I always did. Min Ah wasn’t here yet, however, Karam was. He was reading a music magazine.

“Hi,” I greeted putting my bag on the hook of my desk before sitting down in my seat.

He peered over the pages to see who was talking to him. When he saw it was me, he set the magazine down. It was still opened at his page. “Good morning, Jiyoung. What’s up?” I looked down to what he was reading. Luckily, he wasn’t trying to hide behind an innocent book. Instead it was an article about U-Know Yunho.

I thought about his question, but no funny stories popped into my head from last night. “Nothing,” I told him. “What are you reading?”

“It’s an interview with Yunho. I really admire him,” he beamed. “Do you like TVXQ?”

“I never really listened to them.” I felt a little disappointed that Karam and I didn’t have this in common.

“You should,” he suggested enthusiastically. “Promise you’ll at least watch one of their music videos when you get home.” He held out his pinky and smiled.

At first, I was confused. What did he want me to do with his hand? Then I realized he wanted to make a pinky promise. I was too flustered to speak and only nodded my head. I entwined my pinky with his wishing my fingers weren’t as hot as my face.

“What are you doing?” Another pinky attempted to join ours. It hooked over on top of ours.

I looked up to see Min Ah in front of us giggling. I was upset that she ruined our moment, but still smiled back. It wasn’t her fault, though. She didn’t know.

She sat down in her seat next to Karam. “Is that an article about Yunho? I saw that magazine in front of a market this morning, but I didn’t have any money to buy it.”

“Here,” Karam handed her the magazine. “You can borrow it.”

“Thanks.” She began reading the magazine. “So, you like TVXQ?” Min Ah asked him.

He smiled enthusiastically. “Yes, do you?”

“Of course.”

They started talking all about TVXQ. I knew nothing about the band, except what I may have read online, but that stuff was easily forgotten. I felt left out.

I tried to follow along with what they were saying, but it was useless. I turned to the front of the room completely out of the conversation.

The bell rang for first class to start shortly after.

~♥~ Kyou POV ~♥~

It was the next day at school. I arrived the same time I always did. Yun Hee started to come over to me after she got back from the shoe locker area, however, Hana Eun called out to her. They started talking, and I was left alone.

Out of boredom, I decided to read the board. It gave directions of an assignment for another class from yesterday. It didn’t concern me, but I had nothing better to do.

All of a sudden my vision went black. I felt hands covering my eyes and gasped as a natural reaction to the surprise.

“Guess who,” the person sang. The voice sounded like Jay’s.

“Get off me, weirdo.” I tried to pry his hands away from my face, but he was too strong. He only laughed at me, so I elbowed him in the stomach. That made him stop, at least.

He grabbed the spot where I hit him. “Ouch, that really hurt,” he whined.

“Sorry,” I apologized. “I didn’t mean to do it that hard.”

“It’s okay.” He rubbed his tummy while walking in front of my desk.

“So, what do you want?”

“I can’t say hi to you?”

“You never said hi,” I pointed out.

“Well, hi.”

“Hi.”

“What are you doing?”

“Nothing.”

“Why aren’t you with Yun Hee?”

“She’s talking with Hana Eun.”

“Aww,” he pretended to sympathize. “Are you lonely?”

“No, you’re here,” I sounded irritated, even though he wasn’t really bothering me. I stared blankly at him.

“Do you want me to leave?” he asked playfully.

I thought about this question for a moment. If I said no, it would seem desperate. If I said yes, he might actually leave me alone and never talk to me again. So I went neutral.

“I don’t care.”

Jay chuckled. “Yes, you do.”

“No, I really don’t,” I tried to convince him.

“You really do.”

“No.” I shook my head lightly.

“Uh huh,” he hummed.

“I said I don’t.”

He just stared at me with sparkling eyes while smiling. It was provoking how he could be so persistent and smug about it.

“If I say I don’t, then I don’t.”

He kept that expression remaining silent.

“Then, just leave.”

“I don’t want to.” By emphasizing this, he kneeled down with his knees on the ground and put his elbows on my desk. His head rested in his palms. He thinks he’s cute, I scoffed to myself.

“Fine, do what you want.” I directed my attention back to the board pretending to ignore him. It was pretty hard.

He sprawled his upper body over my desk and looked up at me. His eyes reminded me of a puppy wanting to play but its owner was neglecting it. I like puppies.

I couldn’t avoid his gaze any longer. I sighed, “What?”

“Hi,” he grinned.

I rolled my eyes. I opened my mouth to retort, but the bell to first class cut me off.

~♥~ Yun Hee POV ~♥~

It was the next day at school. I arrived the same time I always did. I started strolling over to Kyou to talk with her before class started, however, someone called my name.

“Yun Hee, I need to tell you something.” It was Hana Eun. She was excited. Kyou can wait, I thought. It’s not like Kyou and I have anything important to say to each other. Most of it is small talk.

Hana Eun began telling me about the progress she made with her crush. I cheered her on like a normal friend would do. It became hard to focus on the conversation at hand when I saw Jay sneaking behind Kyou.

I was curious and watched his actions. Hana Eun continuing to talk, not realizing I was barely listening. I would nod and say “uh huh” every time she paused.

Jay was totally flirting with Kyou! Even though I couldn’t hear either of them, he was obviously teasing her. I just wondered what it was. How cute!

I felt proud of Kyou for becoming good friends with her crush, but I felt sad that I had gotten nowhere.

That’s when I decided. I would try to get closer to Mika! Let’s see, I could try to talk with him after school today. But how? If he joins the conversation, I'll try to comment back.

 I promise myself I will do my best today!

Wee, chapter six! That's my favorite number~ To start with, I don't know much about TVXQ OTL. Sorry I hadn't written much about that there. I would have if I could. I even went on Wikipedia to look up any recent news on Yunho, but my search  was fruitless. Oh, and remember what I said back in chapter 3? Yeah... this chapter brings a hint about a possible love triangle~! I like love triangles, especially if it involves a person I really hate that gets rejected *cough* Kazumi *cough* ...I like strikethroughs...
