Both were sitting at the kitchen counter, drinking tea without saying anything. The silence was beyond awkward and Jennie obviously avoided his looks. 5 Minutes passed, still no words changed. Until Yoongi couldn’t bear the awkwardness anymore which led him to start a conversation:

‘You and Jisoo seem to be very close-‘

‘We’re best friends.’, she cut him off.

‘I see. And you two share this apartment?’

‘Nope.’

‘That means you sleep over at each other’s homes?’

‘Occasionally.’

‘Wow Jennie Kim, since when did you become so talkative?’

‘Depends on the person I’m talking to.’

‘What about Mino?’

Jennie almost choked on her tea because of his abrupt question, but she hardly turned the corner.

‘What about him? Why do you even care about him?’

‘Am I not allowed to ask? Don’t pretend like I’m a stranger, I’m just curious okay? You two looked too close to say there’s nothing between you two.’

‘Don’t pretend like we’re close. Isn’t it obvious that I’ve never wanted your presence by my side? And why do
