11. Distant
Pebble Pathi only ended up writing half this chapter so i'll just post what i've got. the summary of the rest of the story will be in the next post ^^

On the following school day, Sungyeol tried his very best to avoid all the kingkas. Usually in mornings, Myungsoo would be lurking around the entrance of the Infinite Room, waiting for Sungyeol to arrive so he could chat up a storm. Today however, Sungyeol made sure to arrive just before the homeroom bell so he didn’t need to see Myungsoo. Sungyeol thanked his lucky stars he didn’t have classes with any of the kingkas, because there was no way he could explain why he was avoiding them.
Sighing as he walked down an empty hall, Sungyeol peeked into rooms to find one he could hide out in for lunch. He found an empty room and quickly darted in. Inside the dim room, Sungyeol made his way to the furthest seat in the back and slumped into the chair. He took out his packed lunch, a bento box made carefully by his mom, but instead of eating Sungyeol just stared at it sadly.
Sungyeol never realized how much fun he had sitting with the kingkas at lunch. They were all far from the stuck up, arrogant rich kids Sungyeol had class with. In fact, the kingkas were the exact opposite and Sungyeol already saw them as friends. With another sigh, Sungyeol buried his face in his arms that rested on the desk.
Why did life have to be so hard?
