Taemin always complained about the long bus rides, but honestly I enjoyed it a lot. It was rather calming, watching the scenery while listening to music. I enjoyed the trip so far, I had seen a lot of things that I wasn’t used to seeing back in the States. I understood why Mom loved this place. Korea has this vibe that’s just… I don’t even know how to say it… It’s just calming, I guess. Really interesting.

“Ummaaa! I’m thirsty!” Taemin whined.

“I thought you bought a bottle of water back at Nami Island?”

“I drank it all up.” He grinned and I just rolled my eyes. This kid may be cute but he’s troublesome at times.

“Onew, can we have some water please?” I shouted to Onew who was sitting only a few seats in front of us.

“Yeah, sure. Wait a bit, okay?” He said something to Jjong in Korean and the photographer got up and walked to our seats with two bottles in hand. He stumbled because the bus was moving, but he looked kind of cute losing his balance like that. He reached our seats and handed the water bottles.

“Gomawo, Jjong.” I smiled at him and he broke into a wide smile.

“Ne!” Gosh, he’s adorable.

.: Jonghyun :.

Before going to the Kimchi school, we stopped by at The Face Shop store. I expected the mothers in the group to shop a lot, but I didn’t expect Key to be holding more plastic bags than the ladies. I could only hear bits of his English, saying that he’s excited and happy. Jinki hyung told me that he was really happy to see skin care products because his skin was getting dry during his stay here.

I still wanted to talk to Key as much as I could with my limited English. I really wished I studied English properly. But hell, who would’ve thought that I would meet someone like him? Someone as beautiful as him…

.: Onew :.

“Okay, everyone. We will learn and make our own Kimchi here. And after that you can try on the Korean traditional clothes and take pictures. Please follow the lady over there and we’ll proceed to the classroom!”

The group went up the stairs and followed the lady in charge. Taechi was walking up the stairs slowly, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

“Taechi, are you okay?” He slowly turned to look at me and blinked a couple of times before answering.

“Yeah, Onew… I’m just a bit tired. Maybe the smell of Kimchi will wake me up…” I fixed a lock of his hair that was sticking up in the wrong direction and he leaned his head into my touch.

“Come on, this is quite interesting. You have to be awake, okay?” He only nodded and entered the classroom.

The lady explained the history of Kimchi, the ingredients in it and taught them how to make it. Lots of them took interest in the activity and even Taemin managed to stay awake.

“And that’s how you make Kimchi, everyone! Now if you want to try on some traditional Korean clothes, you can head downstairs, okay? Thank you!”

I thanked the lady and led the group downstairs. Everyone quickly changed and Jonghyun got busy taking pictures of them. I kept my eyes on him and Jonghyun had the funniest face when he took a picture of Key. A lovestruck puppy face.

.: Taemin :.

I was so tired. Why did they make us go to Doota in Dongdaemun that late?

“Oneeew, I’m so tired…” The rest of the group was already walking off their own way. Even Key stormed off after knowing I was tired. He even asked me to stay with Onew!

“Aww, poor Taechi. Do you want to sit with me and have a coffee somewhere?”

“Yes please!” I clung onto his arm and leaned my head on his shoulders. Ah, screw what other people think.

.: Key :.

Doota has lots of great stuffs! I should’ve left my SLR camera with Taemin… I couldn’t shop freely while holding my camera.

“Can I help?” Jjong popped up and smiled at me. I was really glad he followed me.

“Gomawo, Jjong.” I handed him my camera and dragged him to a nearby shop.

Since it’s winter, the whole building was selling winter clothes. The coats were exquisite! The sweaters were warm and stylish, the accessories were adorable and boy that boots… Damn, thank goodness I bought that boots.

“You like shopping?” Ooh, puppysaurus’ English made more sense.

“Yeah, I love shopping. It’s really fun.” I paid for my skinnies and dragged him to another store.

Shopping at Doota was fun~

.: Jonghyun :.

Key… Key was unbelievable. He shops a lot! I ended up holding some of his shopping bags because he couldn’t browse through the racks while holding all of those bags.

It was quite tiring to follow him around Doota, but it was really fun. I loved looking at the twinkle in his eyes and the smile gracing his beautiful face. If ever we get together, I guess I just have to put up with this hobby of his. If ever we get together, that is…

“Jjong, I’m tired. Let’s get something to eat!” Oh, I understood that part. I nodded and looked around for an empty spot in a café. That was where I spotted Jinki hyung sitting comfortably on a sofa with Taemin resting his head on Jinki hyung’s shoulder, apparently sleeping. Taecyeon-ssi was also there, chatting with Jinki hyung.

“Key, Taemin and Jinki.” I pointed towards them. Key grinned and walked calmly to their table.

Agh, I had no idea what they talked about.

.: Taecyeon :.

“Well lookie here…” Key smirked and poked Jinki’s arm.

“Ah, Key! Taechi- I mean Taemin fell asleep! He’s tired so I took him here so he could rest and he just fell asleep.” Heheheh, Jinki was panicking and Key just giggled.

“It’s fine, Onew. I’m sure Taechi appreciates your help. Now, I’m gonna grab something to eat. Can I leave my stuff here?” Jinki nodded and Jonghyun dropped loads of bags near the table. “Would you like to come, Taec?”

“Oh sure!” Before I could stand up, Jonghyun was glaring daggers at me. Sheesh, left out much? “Ah, nevermind. I think I’ll just stay here.”

“Are you sure?” Key knitted his eyebrows in confusion. I grinned and gave a thumb up. “Okay then. See you later, guys.” They walked away.

“Have a nice date, Jonghyun.” Jonghyun turned his head back so fast, I thought it snapped!

“Yah! Stop it, hyung!” Key groaned and dragged him. I heard him say something about not talking in Korean in front of him. I just laughed at them and Jinki laughed along too.

Jonghyun took me outside to the damned blistering cold! I couldn’t believe him! But he kind of made it up to me by treating me tteokpokki. We sat down on a bench behind the Doota bulding. It wasn’t crowded and the only sound we could hear was the busy road just nearby.

“Gwaenchanhayo?” Jjong noticed me shivering and I tried to speak through gritted teeth. I clasped my gloveless hand together.

“Gwaenchanha. I’m fine.” He shifted his gaze to my hands and he reluctantly grabbed them. His hands were surprisingly warm. Or was it only my imagination? Even my face got warm too. From the corner of my eyes I saw him smiling while staring at the blinking lights across the street. Maybe, just maybe, the cold wind that night wasn’t that bad…
