Foreword

Hey guys, how's it going?

This BangLo story will be inspired by Egyptian mythology. For those who are familiar with it, you might've figured out the meaning of the title already. But for those who aren't, you can research it or just wait until the story unfolds to find out!

I don't think I've found that much story about Egyptian myth yet or I just don't read enough. But I hope this will be something interesting for you guys to read.

I've always loved Egyptian and Greek myth, so... Yeah. Greek myth is kind of commonly used already so I decided to use this one instead. Or maybe I should do a Greek myth fic too?

So yeah, I don't own anything except the plot. I wish I could own BangLo though..

Enjoy!

Chapter 4: Heyy~
I really like the whole concept ((and the pairing, obviously)), but some parts sound odd to me...

You know, at this period of time, boys became men a lot earlier (Greeks at the age of 7 for instance) so Yongguk being 23 and a powerful Pharaoh is pretty normal. Tutankhamun ascended the throne at the age of 9~10 (and died at 19, but that was pretty young even back then)...
Also, the way Zelo's talking is a bit... Well, you give him the words of a 21st century boy, rebelling against his father because he knows his rights. But in Ancient Egypt/Greece/world in general, these rights don't exist, mostly because the figure of the father had an unquestionable authority (and in that case, it would've been an honor to be entrusted to the Pharaoh for both of them, don't forget Pharaohs have the status of living gods, at least for Egyptians).
That's why answering back to him as well would've been a great offense and punishable by death.

One last thing and I leave you I promise >w<
Pharaohs and general's sons are definitely really well educated people, and you know, Greek was like English back then, spoken in every wealthy (= enable to send the children to school and not having to keep them working in the fields) house, and Zelo, having received a pretty good education, should know about the Egyptian culture and gods.

It's just a few details (that don't prevent the reading, don't worry), and it's a real pleasure to read what you write n.n
But just be careful about anachronisms and maybe read more about Greek and Egyptian customs ? I know that's a lot of (tedious but really interesting) work though x'D

Anyway, great plot and writing, I love it !
(really don't feel bad cause this is awesome ;w;)

Chapter 4: This was great. I like that you had a cat "helping" them bump into each other again. It is also interesting that the Pharaoh showed Zelo the garden. Hmmmmmmmm I really liked this chapter! Thanks for the update!

Chapter 4: Phinx is officially the best wingman ever. Good going, kitty!
And don't worry about the pacing of the story - as long as things progress each chapter, any pace is fine. ;3
Still in love with this story! Keep it up! <3
