Some of y'all brought SJ's new project to my attention a few weeks ago, so I've been keeping a bit of an eye on them, and I must say I'm getting excited. Super Junior are those legendary idols that you kind of have to respect even if you don't like them, so the idea of them debuting a group is pretty exciting, though at the same time I can't imagine the pressures that must put on the girls. But I digress, I'm here to give a brief pre-analysis of how I think they're going to be treated, which is mainly what people were asking about.

Honestly? I'm not worried. Super Junior was easily one of the worst managed groups in the history of KPop prior to getting their own label, so I really can't see them doing the same thing to their own group. Even in the four years they promoted under the label we saw huge improvements with their promotions, both with individual activities and their sub-unit promotions. They even do a great job with Zhoumi and Henry overseas! So yeah, honestly I don't have much to go on just yet, but I'm excited to see what the Kings of KPop have in store with this new group!

anonymous : What's your opinion on the recent scandal with CSB?Did they get into another one or are you talking about Kiki passing out during the MNet awards ceremony? Because we all know BigHit has a bad habit of overworking its artists (2017 WINGS tour with Yoongi anyone?). The long and short of it is that I'm not happy it happened, but it seems like she's being given time to rest and recover which is good. Hopefully the girls will get a break after this but we'll see.

CSB and Pure are obviously not the only new groups, but they're the only ones composed of OCs so there they are!
