Bliss
SmudgesFinally home…
You closed your eyes as you let out a breathy sign of relief from your lips. Today had been absolute madness; you were constantly surrounded by noise, people were constantly hanging by your ear whispering appointment dates into your ears or making their demands known to you as clients. Your fingers wear numb from typing out reports on your keyboard, holding a pen in your hand to sign documents and flipping through mountains of files. Even the drive home had not been silent; it seems like everyone was in a bad mood today and there were lots of honking in the streets. The cacophony throughout the door nearly made you deaf and now that you were finally surrounded by silence, it was pure bliss.

“Of me, you mean.” He shot back as he flashed you a smirk.
Walking across to your side of the pool, he folded his arms before placing them against the ledge. Settling his head on top of his knuckles, he watched you with a small smile on his face.
“Come here, I’ve got something to tell you.”
Raising from the bench, you walked over to where he was before squatting down to look at him more closely. Both of you stared at each other for some time as your eyes gradually became crescents, happiness sipping into your body as trickles just by simply staring at his big brown orbs.
A playful glint made its way into his eyes but before warning bells could ring in your head, he had extend
