Irene folded her arms tapping her feet so that her presence can be known to the girl who had her head bowed down with both hands grabbing the arm rest tightly. Irene wanted the girl to apologise for the rude behaviour. But as soon as those monolid eyes found hers she went weak. She should be used to it. Its not her first time seeing someone in fear.

She quickly sat in the seat beside the girl which was empty and took the girl's hand interlacing their fingers as if it was the most natural thing. The girl's hand wa cold adding more worries to Irene.

"Hei! Calmdown! Its going to be alright! It's just turbulence that occurs while we're taking off" She said gently rubbing the girls back with her free hand. She smiled when the girl started to calmdown.

"P-please s-stay" The girl said. Her voice somehow felt vulnerable to Irene.

"Don't worry I will" She assured her. She pressed the help button and after short while the over excited Wendy came hurrying towards them.

"Hei! I'm Wendy. I'm korean too" She said in English. Irene would have scolded the girl about the lack of formality. But she had done the same and secondly, she was more worried about the girl beside her right now.

"Can you cover for me awhile? She's afraid" Irene said. Wendy's expression changed to a serious one.

"Okay. But you owe me for this" She said and left. Irene's attention went back to the girl.
