Short Description: He danced for fun, he sang for fun. They meet in dreams, at half past one. On another plane where the aurora borealis dance and the stars sing in their own quiet way.
It all starts during a regular night when Jongin is twenty-one years old.
The night was alright and somehow he managed to fall asleep at a time that's semi-decent instead of at a time that would make him basically nocturnal. He easily drifts off into sleep with the help of classical music playing from his phone's speaker and soon dreams of the usual.
There's this guy he's imagined in his head, maybe he's a conglomeration of people he's seen when he's conscious, maybe he's someone from a past life. Either way, every night as he thinks until his subconscious takes over, he imagines someone who must be his ideal type of person.
Though every time he imagines the guy, some aspect always changes--either his hair color, his clothes, his muscle density. But, what never changes is his soothing voice, or the fond way he looks at Jongin like he's known him his whole life.
In his current dream, he and the guy (whose name is apparently Kyungsoo) are strolling through a park while walking their five toy poodles together. Three of the dogs are Jongin's kids since he was young while the newest two just randomly appeared one night. Neither Jongin nor his kids minded the new additions to their daily (or nightly) walks and in real time, Jongin turns over onto his side with a slight smile on his face as dream-him swoops in to give Kyungsoo a quick peck on his cheek.
---
Time exists in a weird way in dreams, and so as Jongin's holding hands with Kyungsoo as they accept an award for a singing and dancing performance--his alarm clock blares in real time.
But, Jongin's a deep-sleeper, so he manages to see himself getting a bouquet of flowers from his proud parents and older sisters when a loud beeping starts to sound in the air. He flinches, and everybody else backstage with him looks around
