Even after she left, she still received text messages from him, expressing his deep regret for not telling the truth earlier and wished that he could be given another chance to start over with her. However till now, not a single message has been replied to him although she had read all of the messages that he had sent to her. She just want to be alone, far from him though she is still seeing him in the office everyday.

To be honest, she still has some feelings for him and misses him very much. Clearly, she still cares for him but she was still hurt with everything that is happening that she was often in blank space, couldn't concentrate fully and has trouble sleeping at night. Because of this, she was late for work twice which somehow the big boss got to know of it.

The big boss took the opportunity to do something she would never thought would happen to her. She was called in again to his office for a talk a day after that. He passed her a letter which she read on the spot. She was shocked when the big boss wants to terminate her contract. She really did not see this coming.

"You are firing me? But why, sir?" She asked politely though still shocked with the news.

"Because you have been coming to work late these days. I don't tolerate late comers."

"Mwuh? I only have been late twice. Shouldn't I been given a warning at least?"

"I'm sorry, Jihyo sshi. It is settled. As stated in the letter, you will be given a week to finish your remaining work and pack up your stuffs."

She was speechless. She doesn't know what to say anymore. Still, she left his office with a heavy heart while the big boss smirked, thinking to himself that he finally get her out of the way. He still has the right to release any of his staffs as he is still the CEO. It is only a week more till Jong kook officially becomes the CEO of the company. Jong kook has no authority to retain or release his stuffs. But as expected he was not aware of his dad's plans because if he knew, in all ways he would defintely keep her in the company. The big boss was clever to do this just before Jong kook takes over the company.

She on the other hand was devestated. Not only she has lost Jong kook, she lost her job as well. This was too much for her to take. She may look as a strong person on the outside but she is still fragile on the inside. She finally broke down after that. Why is everything happening all at once? 

She actually has the intention then to give him a chance to explain himself in a week or two after she is calm
