Chapter 1

ENGLISH VERSION~~

“Tian Mo Xing calling for 007!” GuiGui exclaimed playfully through the telephone.

“HELLO!? It's only 6:30 in the morning! Why are waking me up!”An irritated voice exploded from the other side of the line.

“Alright alright, don't be so upset! I'm at your doorstep.” The ever playful GuiGui ignored Aaron’s heated remarks and started ringing the doorbell.

Aaron ruffled his hair angrily and flunked his blanket aside as he got out of his bed. He never liked being woken up unnecessarily. Therefore, he was very moody as he made his way to the living room. However, as soon as he opened the door, GuiGui flew towards him at such a great speed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“AHBU!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”GuiGui whispered as she leaned backwards and flashed a cheery smile.

Upon hearing and seeing GuiGui, Aaron finally understood the reason why GuiGui came to look for him at such an early hour. At that moment, happiness overwhelmed him as he felt his heart melt upon seeing GuiGui being so thoughtful.

“Wow~When did you start being so caring and loving towards others?” Aaron asked cheekily.

“Hey, I'm your little ghost! Of course I have to be caring towards my older brother~” GuiGui laughed as she pulled away from Aaron. “Oh, are you going to resume filming Love Buffet today?” GuiGui asked as Aaron simply looked at her and nodded sweetly.

“So,your birthday celebration...”GuiGui continued slowly.

“No worries! I will be celebrating it with the casts of Love Buffet.”Aaron explained calmly. He was still feeling a little sleepy then and didn’t even realise that GuiGui’s face fell upon hearing his remarks.

“And--So Qiaoqiao will be there too?” GuiGui queried curiously. Aaron looked at her and raised his right eyebrow. “Stop being silly, Qiaoqiao is Love Buffet's lead actress! Obviously she is going to be there to celebrate my birthday!”

Upon hearing what Aaron said, GuiGui could nearly hear her heart break into 2 pieces. However, she continued to take on a cheery disposition.

“That's good! I wouldn't need to worry about you no having anyone to help you celebrate your birthday this year! Ok, i shall go now bye!"

Without looking back, GuiGui waved her hand and walked out of the house, leaving a confused Aaron behind.

“What's wrong with her? She is going to leave just like that?” Aaron muttered unhappily. Suddenly, someone spoke, making him jump.

“Isn't it obvious?”

Aaron’s sister，旻沛，Minpei, stood with her arms akimbo and was leaning against the pearly white wall. Aaron rolled his eyes at his sister and shook his head as he sauntered towards his bedroom once again. Instantly, MinPei stopped him.

“You are not going to go after her?”

Aaron stood rooted to the ground.

“What? For what?”

Minpei took her time and sat on the comfortable yellow sofa and smiled.

“Hmm, Guigui took such a huge initiative to look for you so early in the morning just to wish you happy birthday, don't you think she is being a little too caring？”

Aaron furrowed his eyebrows and looked at his sister weirdly. Minpei couldn’t help it but let out a sigh.

“Forget it! Just go and look for her!NOW!”

Aaron didn’t move one bit. He continued to stare at Minpei, trying to make some sense out of what she just said. MinPei screamed in frustration and tugged her brother towards the house door.

“GOGOGO!” With that, she pushed him out and slammed the door shut right in his face.

Aaron simply shrugged his shoulders and headed towards the streets where he saw GuiGui sitting alone at the nearby bus-stop.

“I haven't recieved my birthday gift from you yet!” Aaron sat down beside GuiGui.

“AAron!”GuiGui squealed and hooked her arm onto his arm. “Why are you here?!”GuiGui leaned onto Aaron’s arm as she questioned him.

“ Because i want my birthday present!Where is it?” He stubbornly claimed.

“Oh,i actually wanted to treat you to dinner,but it seems that you already made plans."GuiGui complained as she started sulking. Aaron looked at her and tickled her cheeks.

“Hmm, why not you join the casts of Love Buffet to celebrate my birthday?”

“Are you serious? Will that be ok?!”Guigui’s eyes lighted up as she tugged Aaron’s left arm.

“Yes little ghost!”

Immediately, GuiGui threw herself onto Aaron and hugged him tightly- This was her way to express her happiness towards him.
