Chapter 16

ENGLISH VERSION

[The next day]

Everyone was eating buffet breakfast at the restaurant. Guigui was late and by the time she came, thus Aaron was already sitting beside Qiaoqiao and Minpei.

“If I had known earlier i would have arrive at the breakfast table earlier!Now,i can't even sit beside ah bu!” Guigui thought as she pulled a chair and sat beside Jiro. As she did that, Aaron’s eyes never once left her.

“Good morning!What a GREAT hairdo!” Guigui said as she ruffled Jiro’s hair. Guigui did that on purpose because she knew that Jiro hated people messing his hair up.

“How irritating can you get?!!” Jiro shouted as he snatched away the piece of fishcake Guigui was about to eat. Then he greedily it before returning it to her.

“Isn't this your favourite food?!” He asked and winked cheekily. Guigui glared at him and returned Jiro the fishcake, utterly disgusted by his behavior. On the other hand, Aaron kept looking in Guigui’s direction, hoping to catch a glimpse of her interactions with Jiro. Qiaoqiao, who sat on Aaron’s right, realize his actions and stood up.

“Guigui,do you want to sit beside aaron?Because currently, it seems that all he does is to look at you...”

“What? Looking at me?” Guigui blushed.

“Come on！” Qiaoqiao pulled Guigui to where she originally sat and made her sit down. Then, Qiaoqiao walked towards Jiro and settled down too. Everyone looked at Qiaoqiao quizzically as this was the first time Qiaoqiao took the initiative to allow Aaron and Guigui to spend more time together.

“What does she mean by that? Does it mean that she no longer likes aaron?” Guigui furrowed her eyebrows. Qiaoqiao looked into the couple’s direction smiling as she nodded slightly. Aaron and Guigui smiled back, they understood. This was Qiaoqiao’s way of hinting and giving them her blessings.

“You don't have to get jealous anymore！” Aaron teased Guigui.

“You too!!! Jiro and I are just--”

“what about you and him?” Aaron instantly shot back, eager to hear more about Guigui’s opinions of Jiro.

“Why are you so nervous?Jiro will never ever like me! And that's because----HE LIKES YOUR SISTER!” Guigui whispered into Aaron’s ears and laughed. The very moment those words came out of Guigui’s mouth, Aaron could hear himself heave a sigh of relief.

“ So Jiro doesn’t like Guigui?” Aaron thought happily as he popped a piece of egg into his mouth,.

“WHAT?!You are going to film another kissing scene? Can't you make a request and ask yuor company to let Jiro film to kissing scene instead?” Guigui swung Aaron’s arm back and fore as she begged him to give up the role of the male lead in Fahrenheit’s new MV.

“But this is a chance for me to improve myself.Why would I want to give it up?” Aaron asked and Guigui looked away with a worried look plastered to her face.

“Alright, alright, don't be like that~” Aaron pinched Guigui’s nose as he looked straight into her eyes. Just as he did that, squeals of delight were heard from behind them as the couple scanned their surroundings.

“Oh mind! Look at them! How loving can they get?!” One of the fans clapped her hands excitedly. Ever since Aaron and Guigui announced their relationship to the public, they had become the media’s main focus. In fact, in recent polls, they have been repeatedly nominated as the best couple in history. However, all these came with a price as both of them often find themselves surrounded with numerous fans whenever they went on a date.

“Heard that? we are extremely loving！” Aaron teased Guigui softly as he pulled her closer to himself, interlocking his hand with hers. Just as they were about to continue walking, Guigui spotted a dark figure appearing for a second before disappearing the next.

“Ah Bu, the reporters are following us again”

Aaron flashed Guigui a painful smile before shaking his head gently and pulling her into a crowded eatery.

“For today, we have 2 taiwanese celebrities to join us!Let us welcome Aaron Yan and Guigui!” The host clapped and the audience in the studio cheered. It had been nearly 3 months since Guigui and Aaron had announced their relationship to the public. It hadn’t been easy to deal with all the attention they were getting, in fact, their day’s programme had been packed with numerous interviews that would poke into their privacy. However, as many Tv channels had offered high payments and begged the duo to accept the interviews, Aaron and guigui’s company had decided to accept the offer.

“Hi everyone, I'm Fahrenheit's Aaron Yan!”

“And I'm guigui!” Guigui smiled sweetly and her eyes swept around the studio, the sight that met her eyes shocked her. Were they that popular? The fans were squashed like sardines around the stage area and more seemed to be trying to squeeze in to get a glimpse of the couple. Then, as she continued observing her surroundings, a intimate picture caught her attention and instantly sent her cheeks burning.

“Did you see the posters?” Aaron whispered to Guigui, indicating towards a poster a fan was holding up. Guigui nodded and stared at the picture. The fan was cheering loudly and held a picture of Guilun kissing in their past show- The Clue Collector. Guigui hastily looked away as she felt her heart thump upon remembering her first kiss with Aaron.

“Alright,shall we continue on with the programme? Firstly, we will start with the discussion. So when was it that the two of you first discovered that you had feelings for the other?” The host queried.

“Erm- -Erm- - I like it when he was sweet to me. And i love it whenever he held my hand or when he took care of me.” Guigui said shyly and paused to steal a glance at Aaron.

“HAHA~That's cute.How about aaron?”

“Well, i simply like the feeling of having her beside me” Aaron said plainly, hoping the host wouldn’t probe further into his answer as he still wanted a certain degree of privacy.

“Okay, then here's another question. Between the both of you, who gets jealous more easily?”

Instantly, Guigui and Aaron had the answer at the tip of their tongue as both snatched to answer the answer.

“Guigui！”“Aaron！” They chorus at the same time. The fans roared into a thunderous laughter.

“Why?”

“It's because everytime--”“Oh, she LOVES getting jealous!” They exclaimed at the same time once again. This round, the whole studio, including the cameraman was waiting for a good show to start.

“You should let me speak first！” Guigui glared at Aaron.

“You wish! I'm going to be the first to explain!” Aaron shot back.

“This couple is really adorable!Hmm..How about letting guigui go first?”

Guigui didn’t need any prompting, she excitedly continued.

“Do you guys remember that time when i was at Fahrenheit's concert? Well, i admit that i was wearing clothes that was rather revealing..And this Mr here became angry with me for that! He tried all means and ways to get me to wear a jacket!! Oh, that's not all! That time, i went to the beach with---”

“I wasn't jealous! You guys have yet to hear about the stories of guigui---” Aaron rebuked.

“Don't interupt me!！” Guigui scolded Aaron on the spot. By now, the entire studio was laughing till their stomachs hurt. This was a live show and yet Aaron and Guigui seemed to be in their own couple-world, arguing over nonsensical things. Despite always being in a heated argument, through these arguments, everyone could still see the strong love they had for each other.

“Alright, don't argue!! I think it's better if we continue on with the programme. Now, we will move on to the segment where the fans get a chance to question their idols!”

“Erm,well, for a couple to kiss is a normal thing to do. So, who usually initiates the kisses?”

Guigui and Aaron stared at the fan in disbelief. She actually asked such a sensitive and touchy question! A trickle of sweat dripped down his forehead as Aaron felt his entire body grow warm.

“eh..This is quite...embarrassing!” Aaron smiled nervously.
