Chapter 15

ENGLISH VERSION

“Careful” Aaron spoke as he helped Qiaoqiao into the restaurant and helped her settle down comfortably. Qiaoqiao’s nose was bandaged and she couldn’t really see properly. Feeling guilty on behalf of his girlfriend, Aaron had decided to put himself in charge of taking care of Qiaoqiao for this trip.

“What do you feel like eating? I will get it for you.” Aaron asked Qiaoqiao. As soon as he said those words, silence blanketed the group as everyone looked at Guigui worriedly. Guigui looked at Aaron. Despite being hurt, she was starting to become angry with him. She didn’t understand why he ignored her; after all she was his girlfriend.

“Dadong,it's rather stuffy in here. Shall we head to the swimming pool to eat? The view is much better.” Guigui stood up and held onto Jiro as she led him towards the pool. Jiro looked at the others for help, but they could only shrug helplessly as they watch Aaron and Guigui continue on with their silent battle.

Aaron glanced at Guigui for a brief moment before realizing what she was doing. “She’s so immature and irritating!” he wanted to yell. Didn’t she understand what she had done? Didn’t she understand that he was trying to help lessen the guilt she was burdened with? Now she is trying to go against him by pulling Jiro into the situation! Aaron sighed and stood up to help Qiaoqiao get some food.

“Alright,alright.Stop being angry.” Jiro advised Guigui as she sat beside the pool, her feet in the water.

“I'm not” Guigui whispered as a streak of tear rolled down her cheek.

“Look,tears are starting to form~ So don't act too tough alright?” Jiro reached out and wiped the tear away.

“I---It's so funny isn't it?The whole world knows about aaron and me but now, we seem to be on the verge of a break up.If i had known this would happen, i wouldn't let the world know about us. I won't even want to fall in love with him.” Guigui threw a pebble into the pool to vent her frustration.

“So if you didn't like aaron, you would have liked em right?” Jiro asked absent-mindedly.

“No way. For you will hurt me even more.”

“Why？”

“Your heart,” Guigui pointed to Jiro’s heart “only has her！” Then, she pointed to Minpei. “Even an idiot can tell your true feelings.” Guigui teased Jiro and splashed some water at him. On the other hand, Jiro was dumbfounded. How did this girl even figured out who he was fond of? Trying to hide his embarrassment, Jiro picked Guigui up and taunted to throw her into the pool.

“If you tell anyone about what you found out, i promise that i will throw you into the swimming pool!” He threatened as Guigui screamed and struggled furiously.

“Letmedown! Letmedown!!!!” She screamed and whacked Jiro repeatedly.

“Then promise me that you won't tell anyone!”

“JIRO WANG LIKES----AHHHHHHHHHHHH” Guigui was about to shout out who Jiro like when Jiro panicked and tried to throw her into the swimming pool. Acting quickly, Guigui grabbed onto Jiro’s shirt, sending him flying into the pool with her.

Two loud splashes were heard as the on-lookers (the rest of the group) ran towards the pool.

“*cough*Stupid dadong！” Guigui screamed as she found herself drenched from head to toe. Struggling to swim back ashore, Guigui kicked Jiro and went towards the others.

“What are the two of you up to？” Minpei helped Guigui out of the pool and wrapped her in a towel. Aaron rushed up with another towel and dangled it around Guigui’s shoulders. He dried her hair and looked at her intently. To be honest, Aaron’s eyes had never left Guigui and Jiro as they moved towards the pool. He had witnessed everything that happened and a sour feeling was creeping up his heart. He had saw the close relationship Jiro and Guigui shared and how Guigui had laughed so happily while with Jiro. In fact, a scary thought even crossed his mind- was Guigui starting to like Jiro?

“I'm alright” Guigui groaned as Jiro sat beside her while the others rushed up with towels to get him dry.

“What happened?” Minpei asked.

Guigui looked from Minpei to Jiro, winking at him as she did so.

“You are so irritating! One more word from you and I will throw you into in the swimming pool!” Jiro panicked and scolded Guigui.

Guigui suppressed a laugh.

“It's alright,we are only playing~And thsi stupid big-headed jiro threw me into the pool! However, being quick and agile, I refuse to let go of him and in the end, we fell into the pool together!” Guigui started laughing at Jiro’s silliness.

“Jiro,you're REALLLY stupid!” Calvin chirped in before breaking into a fit of laughter.

Now truly afraid that Guigui would start to fall for Jiro, Aaron brought up a warm glass of water for Guigui and took a towel to dry her hair. Guigui paused and stoned a little while as she felt Aaron standing behind her.

“What are you trying to do？” She asked sulkily and maybe a little shyly.

“I am afraid you will catch a cold si i'm helping you dry your hair.”

“Thanks,but i can do it myself.” Guigui coldly took the towel away from Aaron. “Jiro,help me dry ym hair!” Guigui added nonchalantly as she turned to face Jiro. Jiro widened his eyes and pointed at himself.

“Me? No thanks!”

By this time, Aaron was already feeling very uncomfortable. Without hesitation, he snatched the towel away from Jiro.

“Guigui, i need to speak to you.”

“Speak then, i'm not stopping you.”

Feeling extremely helpless with his girlfriend’s stubborn behaviour, Aaron lifted her up in a bridal style and stormed off from the crowd. Guigui screamed and demanded that he let her down, but being equally stubborn too, Aaron refused and ignored her pleads. He carried her to a deserted part of the resort and finally let her down.

“What are you doing！” Guigui shot at Aaron angrily as she adjusted her clothes. “Now you aren't speaking! Do you know that you are really weird?”

“i don't know.”

“You!Forget it,I don't want to waste my time and energy speaking to a person like you!” Guigui threw the towel that was wrapped around her hard onto the ground. She glared at Aaron fiercely and pushed him away forcefully before making her ‘exit’. However, Aaron hugged her from the back.

“Don't be like that,I won't be able to take it.I'm sorry.” He whispered. At that instant, all the anger, jealously and disappointment in Guigui melted. Guigui allowed Aaron to lean closely onto her as she took the initiative to hold his hand.

“I thought you didn't like me anymore.” Guigui said.

“I'm sorry.” That was all Aaron said as he hugged Guigui tighter, then he kissed Guigui’s ears, cheeks, nose and finally her lips. However, as he wanted to deepen the kiss, Guigui broke away.

“You weren't a good boy today,so i shall not let you kiss me any further!” Guigui said as she leaned her forehead against Aaron’s.

“Guigui！” Aaron complained as he forced his lips onto Guigui’s, patiently waiting for her respond. Well, he didn’t need to wait very long because Guigui couldn’t suppress the urge to kiss Aaron back.

Little did they know that there was a person hiding behind the shadows of the bushes, suppressing a cry as she watched the duo. This was really the end. She knew that no matter what she Aaron would never go to her for he loved Guigui way too deeply. “They truly love each other--”

That night, the moon was round and beautiful. Just as beautiful as the love Guigui and Aaron had for each other. Indeed their love was full of stubbornness, jealousy and disappointments, but doesn’t that make it something more perfect?
