An era taken over by the government. In this time, it was kill or be killed. Many families had been broken up, kids being kidnapped from their parents to join the goverments army. Their parents usually lost their minds and ended up killing themselves. If they survived the mental trauma, you'd find them working for the goverment themselves. No one was safe.
