It was not enough to deceive myself by thinking I heard wrong, I just had to see the proof lying in front of me. My legs were shaking, barely carrying my own weight to even stand straight. I leaned back on the bathroom wall, eventually sliding down when my knees felt too weak to do its job properly.

My fragile heart broke to millions - no, make it billions - of tiny pieces, leaving every inch of my body numb.

I cried. A lot.
I poured my heart out to the invisible air hugging me for comfort. I brought your shirt to my chest, hugging every knitted thread as tightly as I could. But it only made things worse.

Your scent was gone.
It was replaced by the foreign fragrance of someone else. A woman.

I stayed there for a few minutes longer, gasping for air as I sobbed heavily by myself.

WARNING:  As all of my subscribers in my other stories know, I don't proofread my work (that's why I love all of 'em to bits 'cause they don't bash me over my typos). Another thing, English isn't my mother tongue. I'm prone to committing mistakes and I'm going to be forever thankful if you give me constructive criticism rather than hurtful comments.
