Yoongi is jealous. Jimin has his first kiss.

“Yoongi-ya!” Seokjin calls out to him when he sees his brother run past him towards the grade two section during the lunch bell. Somehow Seokjin knows where Yoongi is off to and he just shrugs good mindedly as he makes his way towards the grade three section himself.

Yoongi clutches onto the banana in his hand tighter than before, as he searches the heads in the classroom for a small boy, about his height, with cute cherub cheeks and a sunshine smile. He soon spots Jimin talking animatedly with Taehyung in the back of the classroom. He is walking towards then when the world’s greatest sin happens.

Jimin, in excitement, grabs Taehyung by the neck and collides his lips with Taehyung’s right cheek. And Taehyung responds back with a kiss on Jimin’s left cheek. And Yoongi thinks he dies a little inside as the banana falls to the ground with a thud and Yoongi runs out of the classroom with tears of who knows what and why, running down his pale cheeks.

After that things become cold between the two six-year-olds and the nine-year-old Yoongi.

Firstly, Yoongi stops reading Jimin mangas. He starts avoiding the two boys like the plague. And every time he sees them laughing together he doesn’t know why but his eyes start to sweat. (IT IS SWEAT I TELL YOU!) And Yoongi starts spending more time with Seokjin hyung and the kumamon plushy. But nothing feels nice and everything makes him want to cry. Because Jimin kissed Taehyung and he just hates the world and Taehyung and Hoseok by extension!!!

So when Hoseok drops by his bedroom to drop off Yoongi’s music CD he had borrowed he is met with a stony silence and looks that could kill. Hoseok, however, is the ever energized, virtual sun, that no one can stay mad at. Hoseok asks Yoongi what the matter is and receives grunts and threats in reply. Of course the sunshine of the group is anything but a quitter and he soon has Yoongi bawling his eyes out to him about Jimin and his stupid brother Taehyung. And the kiss and Jimin not being innocent and untouched anymore. And why is the world so cruel to Yoongi. And why does he hate Taehyung for kissing Jimin.
