Moon Byul's POV

After her short introduction, she just stood there looking like a lost princess waiting for the prince to come. She was holding the strap of her backpack while waiting for Mr. Lee to tell her which seat she should sit. After a minute of scanning the room, Mr. Lee finally pointed out the seat next to Whee In which was empty.

"Uh, Miss Jung Whee In, is there someone sitting beside you?" Mr. Lee asked, scratching the back of his head.

"Yes, sir. Jung Hoseok. But I think he's not present for today," Whee In answered, excitement was heard in her voice.

Gawd, could she be more oblivious? She obviously wants the new girl seated beside her and not caring about the absentee seated there. She's literally a fan girl now. Someone help her.

"Okay, uh, I hope he won't mind if I switch his seat..." he trailed off, adjusting his eyeglasses. "Sorry, miss, uh?" he blinked his eyes, forgetting the name of the new girl.

How could he forget such beautiful name?

"Jung Soo-jung. I think it would be easy if you call me by my korean name," she smiled.

Woah, I didn't catch that. Is she a foreigner? Probably.

"I'm sorry, Miss Jung Soo-jung but please can you take your seat beside Miss Jung Whee In," he requested. The new girl nodded and took the empty seat beside Whee In.  Whee In gave her a smile and she ree to her. Mr. Lee finally started his lesson and the excitement a few minutes ago inside the room has already died down.

I couldn't help but steal glances behind my back while the teacher continued talking about the lesson. It was a miracle that Whee In didn't bother her. I decided to stop myself from being a creep stealing glances from her so I forced myself to listen to the lesson which was history.

Ugh, boring.

After minutes of forcing myself to listen, my eyes just got heavier from boredom and exhaustion. I was about to close my eyes when I felt a tap on my shoulders.

"What?" I asked in annoyance and turned my head at Whee In.

"Should I invite her to come with us when it's lunch break? You know make friends and stuff like that?" She whispered.

"What? No! Look at that face. That face looks like she has a lot of friends," I objected, judging the new girl who was listening intently what Mr. Lee was saying. Whee In just gave me a pinch on my right arm. I silently exclaimed in pain. I glared at her.

"You're judging too quick. She's new here so expect that she doesn't know anybody here," she glanced at the girl beside her. Krystal felt someone looking at her so she whipped her head at us and gave us a friendly smile. I was too awkward to gave her one so I just turned my head in front of the class.

"Sorry, please don't mind her. She's not that outgoing kind of person," Whee In apologized, embarrassing me. I turned my head at her and gave her a threatening look.

"Oh. I understand," she softly answered. She turned to look at me and shot another smile. This time I got the courage to smile back. But with a forced one.

"Uh, can I call you Krystal?" Whee In shyly asked. Krystal turned her head at Whee In. "By the way, I'm Jung Whee In," she took out her hand to have a handshake with the raven-haired girl.

"Of course," she gladly accepted and shook Whee In's hand. "Nice to meet you, Whee In," she smiled with her pearly white teeth showing.

I decided to look in front since they're getting to know each other. I had my ears open at them though even though I looked like I'm listening to the lesson but in reality I was busy eavesdropping what the two girls were talking behind my back.

"I supposed you don't have much friends in here since you're new..." Whee In guessed.

"You're right. Though I may know some people here," she answered.

"Okay! Would you mind joining us for lunch? That case, if you don't mind being friends with us..." she trailed off, unsure what to say after.

"I wouldn't mind for sure. Thank you," Krystal accepted her offer. I heard Whee In squealed which attracted Mr. Lee and the class' attention.

She needs to stop being like this.

"What is it, Miss Jung Whee In?" Mr. Lee raised her left eyebrow at Whee In.

"Oh, nothing sir. I was just too excited about your lesson. Please continue," she let out a nervous giggle. Mr. Lee couldn't help but sigh and continued where he left off.

I turned my head at her and gave her a look of disbelief. She just gave me the "what-did-I-do?" look. I just rolled my eyes and mouthed "why did you invite her?"

She just scowled. I slumped back to my seat and pondered.

What am I supposed to do? This is going to be a long long day.

Finally, lunch came in after three hours of sitting listening to three boring classes. I nearly forgot that the new girl would be joining us for lunch. I didn't talk much with her even though I stole some glances from her. Whee In kept her entertained throughout the classes. Sometimes she'd laughed whenever Whee In says something ridiculous. They acted like they've been friends for a long time.

"If a pickle had a life, what would it say?" Whee In asked. She's with her lame jokes... again.

There she goes again.

Krystal let out a laugh. "What would it say? Hmmm, I don't know?"

"I'm gonna pickill myself," Whee In giggled. Krystal giggled and kept listening to her lame jokes. Meanwhile, I just kept walking until we reached the cafeteria.

"Oh, cafeteria looks neat," Krystal thought.

"Meh, you'd probably despise the food here after two months of eating the same crap," I absentmindedly thought, not knowing that it came out of my mouth, making the two girls behind me stopped on their tracks. Whee In glared at me. "Sorry. I'm not really feeling well today," I lied. Krystal just nodded and followed Whee In to our usual seats.

I followed them and took a seat.

"Hey, guys! Hope you don't mind that I brought a beautiful company here," Whee In put her arm around Krystal's shoulders.

"Oh, hi! You must be the new girl?" Hwa Sa stood up from her seat and took out her hand to have a handshake with her. The new girl nodded and gladly shook it and gave her a smile.

"I'm Ahn Hye-jin by the way. But I prefer if you call me Hwa Sa," Hwa Sa winked.

"I'm Jung Soo-jung. But I prefer if you call me Krystal," Krystal winked bac
