Woohyun had become an amazing librarian. The two of them established some form of unsaid routine and rhythm. They would shelf the books starting from opposite ends of the library, and work towards the middle shelf where they met.

Woohyun always got the top shelf in the middle. And each time Sunggyu would stare at him, amused at him trying to arrange the books properly despite his height. He knew where the stool was, he just didn’t bother getting it for him. Instead their daily duties would end with Sunggyu holding Woohyun up by his waist in a sort of mock back-embrace for him to reach the shelf. That was the only time he could pretend for a moment he was in a dream while awake. Burying his face in Woohyun’s back as he lifted him, he took in his scent and desperately tried to memorise the topography of his back. Despite being small,Woohyun had a solid build.
On days when Sunggyu was “too tired to tiptoe”, Woohyun reciprocated the same for his top shelf duties.
