Chapter 5 (2011)
ReservationsThree days after Woohyun recovered from his fever,Sunggyu was down with a cold. Yet unlike Woohyun, who became a quiet ball of squish whenever he was sick, Sunggyu evolves to something closer to a grumpy old man. He had no idea how Woohyun got his way through, but he was now a part time librarian. Years later, Sunggyu would wonder how he ever wormed his way out of soccer practice.
(Woohyun, of course, came in and self-declared himself “The best librarian there will be who will take care of hyung and everything! De-het!” He conveniently left out the fact that he made a deal to be a bench warmer for the next match the team would have.)
Sunggyu was therefore mostly hiding in his fortress, or the reading room behind the counter. Woohyun had used some old books in there to build him what resembled a couch, and cushioned them with sports mats and cushions he found around campus. Sunggyu suspected Woohyun knew about his liking for the smell of books.
He wasn’t entirely wrong. Woohyun had built that couch because he liked the smell of books and pages on Sunggyu, not because he knew his hyung liked it. On several occasions when Sunggyu dozed off behind the counter, he would sneak a couple of sniffs of his exposed nape.<
