Soonyoung’s text prevented me from sleeping. He kept calling me all night. I did everything I could to remove Jihoon and my notebook on my mind. It was no use. Sun shines from my bed and I prepared myself for school. But, I decided something. I know Minghao will understand me. I know Minghao will do the same thing. I released a sigh and texted Soonyoung. I'm not even sure if he's going to reply afterl all, I didn't make contact with them yesterday.

Soonyoung, how was Jihoon? –Yena

6:30AM

I'm getting nervous as time pass by. What if Jihoon got mad at me? What if Soonyoung and the others didn't care about me? I kept on looking at my phone screen waiting for Soonyoung's reply. What if he don't text back? What am I going to do? Moments later my phone vibrated.

Yena, finally! I’ve been calling you a thousand times last night! No change and we can’t talk to him. –Soonyoung

Thank heavens he replied.

I’m sorry about yesterday. I really do. –Yena

We need an explanation, Yena. Everyone was a mess last night. –Soonyoung

I know but I can’t, I’m sorry. But don’t worry I decided I won’t stop. I want to continue being friends with everyone. –Yena

I didn't get a reply from Soonyoung. I'm really looking forward to seeing them today. I'll fix this myself and hurry back to them. To being friends with them.

I smiled at the thought of me meeting them after school and hang out like we always do. As I was walking, my tracks stopped when a van stopped in front of me. I was surprised and 2 men wearing black clothes and masks went out of the van and grabbed me, forcing me inside the van. I struggled but they were too strong. I cried for help but no one came. I'm scared. Mom? Dad? Minghao? Jihoon? Anyone please save me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked, voice shaking. They covered my eyes and tied my hands. I struggled, again.

"Move or we'll hurt you." Said a deep voice. I stopped struggling and laughter filled the air. I'm shaking in fear. How can this happen? Am I gonna die? What did I do to deserve this?

We've travelled far, I think. I don't know all I know is I'm being kidnapped. Why do they even kidnap me? I'm not rich! Why is this happening to me! I heard the car door opened and they pushed me out and dragged me somewhere. I struggled, again. A hand met my cheek that made me flinched. It stings. I can feel my cheek getting numb. I cried, calling out different names and asking for help. Anyone please! I kept crying. Hands released me and a fist met my face. I know it because I can feel it. I landed on the floor crying. It hurts, I can feel it bleeding. I can taste the blood inside my mouth.

"Take it easy, man. She's still a girl." said a voice and chuckled.

"She's annoying. Besides, the boss wants this." the deep voice from earlier said. Fear took control of my body. My legs are getting numb, my hands and my whole body is shaking. Crying is all I can do. I bit my tongue to keep myself for crying out loud. They dragged me once again and this time they made me sit on a chair, untied my hands and tied it again on a chair, my feet got tied this time. Eyes still covered, the voices from earlier died down. I think they left.

I don't know how long I was held captive and what time is it already. I want to go home. I want to see mom and dad. I want to see the light. My hands are getting numb from the rope. I'm also getting hungry. What is all this? Will I die? Will I live a short life?

"Here's your food." the voice from earlier said. It's gentle. I didn't speak. I don't have the strength to. "Oh right." He removed my blindfold. I adjusted my sight to the brightness. I also felt my hand being released. I looked at the man who kidnapped me earlier with puffy eyes.

"Keep this a secret, okay?" He gave me a small smile. Tears starts to swell up on my eyes again.

"I want to go home." I silently cried. "I'm scared." 

He kneeled down, meeting eyes with me. "Don't worry. I'll help you out." He reassured me and patted my head. "Give me your phone. I'll send a text." He said. I told him my phone is inside my pocket. "I distracted my partner earlier so he won't confiscate this. Thankfully he forgot. I'll text your friend so they can contact your parents. Don't worry I'll get you out of this."

"Wh-why? Aren't you suppose to be one of them?" I asked, confused.

"I have a daughter, too. Here." He put my phone back to my pocket. "I texted your friend. In 2 hours they will come and get you. Don't worry. Just follow my lead. I put your phone to silent so they won't know you're still holding your phone. When it vibrated just shout 'answer', I activated the voice answering machine. It's their lead, so do your best to answer, okay." He said and I nodded at him. Such gentle words, I know I can trust him. He's helping me.

"Man, what's taking you so long?" a deep voice shouted from outside. He told me to hurry and eat. After eating, he blindfolded me and tied my hands again. He reassured me that help is coming in 2 hours. I nodded. I've seen a glint of hope. 

"Stay safe." He said and left. I bit my lip and hoped for the plan to succeed. I have to answer the call at all cost.

"Well well well, if it isn't Lee Yena." A voice that is owned by a girl, said. Please call. Whoever you are, please call me.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" I asked, struggling to break free.

A slapped greeted me. "You're so annoying!" She said and slapped me, again. It stings, my right cheek is getting numb. Fear starts to take control again. Tears rolling down. I begged them to release me. Laughter filled the room and another slapped met my left cheek. I cried in pain. I struggled, but it's no use.

I felt a vibration on my lap. It's the call.
