You as Jung Hyomin – a 16 year-old-girl. Mysterious, clever, rich and quiet. The only child and lives alone. Her parents were abroad, busy with their business. Always gets straight A’s. Doesn’t have many friends because she is quiet. Most of her classmates don’t want to be her friends because they think that she is an ice princess but she’s not. Secretly loves Jo Kwangmin.
Jo Kwangmin – Also 16 years old. Hyomin’s classmate. He is the kingka of the school along with Kwangmin and Sungyeol. Handsome, innocent but an idiot. Always gets straight C’s. He is too busy dancing that he doesn’t have time to study. He loves dancing the most, more than anything else, even his family.
Kim Myungsoo – 16 years old. Also Hyomin’s classmate. He is one of the kingkas, as you all know. Mysterious, handsome, rich and clever. His best friends are Sungyeol and Hyomin. He lives in front of Hyomin’s mansion. Secretly loves her but scares to confess.
Lee Sungyeol – 16 years old, also. He is in the next class. A choding, fun to be with and tall boy. He is awkward with Hyomin. His girlfriend is Suzy.
Foreword
“She suffered heart cancer” Dr. Kim said softly. Myungsoo gasped in shock.
“He-heart cancer? For real? That means… she will die, right?” The tall doctor nodded slowly.
“She only has 4 months to live” he stated. Myungsoo thanked him and he left to check another patient.
“4 months” Myungsoo whispered sadly. He was too sad to say anything. His dream girl was going to leave him in 4 months. He knelt down on his knee, crying.
Why didn’t you tell me, Hyomin?
“I- I wa- want to confess something to you” Kwangmin stuttered. He was very nervous! His hands were shaking and sweaty.
“Don’t”
“I-“ Hyomin cut him off.
“I said don’t!” she yelled. She didn’t have the courage to hear the special three words. Tears were b in her eyes so she turned around, ready to leave when Kwangmin yelled,
“I LOVE YOU”
“I said don’t!” She really didn’t want to hear the three words now. No, it’s not like she didn’t love him anymore. But she was extremely sad and touched to hear the three words. The three words that she wanted to hear from his mouth from 3 years ago. The three words that would melt every girl’s heart. But for her, they cut her heart into pieces. Knowing that she would die in the next 2 months just make her sad.
“But why?”
“I’ll hurt you” She burst into tears. Luckily, she was facing another direction so that he couldn’t see her tears.
“But”
“I’ll hurt you, can’t you understand? I don’t deserve your love and I can’t accept your love, I’m sorry” Then, she ran home while crying, leaving him alone in the heavy rain.
