Chapter One

OC’s POV

This is a beautiful day for me. I was waiting for the sunset. Traveling alone is one of the things on my long bucket list to fulfill. Being a celebrity really has its pros and cons. People want to be you, want to know the latest gossip about you and lastly about your ing love life; like they are genuinely support you to be happy. Happy? Happy my ; more like to suffer. Anyway I’m not here to rant about my mess up life but to enjoy the beach by myself. I asked the company’s permission long long time ago to give me a break and after I don’t know how long my request has finally granted and with that I booked the earliest flight to Maui, Hawaii. it is one of my dream destination to travel alone or better with a lover but it’s okay at least I have my time to reflect and to think about my life for the past years.

I was fascinated to see the breathtaking scenery in front of me and different nationalities with beautiful skin colors strolling around the beach give me a fresh feeling of freedom to enjoy this once in a lifetime opportunity. I love the nature but because of our schedules, I never had a chance to travel often or even visit the near beaches in Korea; and with that as I grow older I want to change my routine; I will make my life choices a better one and do things that I am afraid to try before; and this place will be the start of my adventures

The cold sea breeze blew as my hat flew away from my head, I chase with all my might so that it won’t get wet but I’m not a runner so the hat’s rim was now swimming in the shore as the small waves caught it with causing it to get further in the water

I took of my sandals and left it far enough so it won’t get wet too while I hang my fujifilm camera on my neck because I am afraid to lose it since my fans gave it to me on my 24th birthday. The sand get between on my toe’s and fingers as I walked towards the water where my hat is floating further away from me. I dipped my toe to test the coldness and it’s just enough for me to make a short half body dip, again it made me happy that I can experience this kind of little things; I pull up the hem of my sundress bit for me to move easier in the water. I was smiling like little child as I walking closely to my hat not until a jet ski made a sharp turn not far enough for me splashed all the salt water on me, it made my long hair now a wet one fell in front of my face; covering entirely my vision as I taste the saltness of the ocean. I don’t mind get wet because this is the ocean, you eventually get wet but not the way like this; a humiliating one when some people can see how a wet chicken you are. Now my camera is wet too and that really made me pissed with the stupid show off guy.

I was brushing off my wet hair from my face as I felt the strong waves tumbled me down because the jet ski show off guy went in front of me but instead of helping me he cause more discomfort on my part. I heard him jumped from his toy and walked towards in front of me. I was still sitting on my as I heard him speak and offering his help

He knelt down a bit and get my hand, we are still near the shore so it’s easier for him to find my hand even though it was under water, He pulled me up and I’m back standing on my feet

“Sorry.” The jet ski show off guy muttered 

I brushed my hair upwards ily to made this stupid guy know how careless he is. But I was shocked to see him here and he too didn’t know how to comprehend if what he was seeing is real

“You?” We both questioned in unison as we both pointed in each other 

Then it really become awkward as we both looked away from each other. we are working in the same company but we very not to fond to each other since the day he debuted. the guy hates me and I don't really have any idea

I looked at him once in awhile and I still can’t believe we choose the same date and same place of all the country that mother earth has, we saw each other here in Hawaii. what a perfect timing.

“My hat. This is mine.” I said sternly as I snatched the hat from his right hand

As I don’t see any point for me to stay with him, I turned around and was about to walked away when he spoke 

“Why are you here?” He asked like he was accusing me on following him here

I chuckled in sarcasm as I turned again to face him

“Excuse me? If I knew you were here, I rather go to Mt. Everest than being here with you.” I said as I got closer to him and dodging the wet hat on his chest

He leaned down closer to my face and I was caught off guard with the sudden boldness of his action, He was taller than me of course it’s easy for him to towered himself 

“Me too. Don’t worry, I’ll do the same.” He mockingly said before he bumped my shoulder and walked away leaving me dumbfounded

“How dare you?!” I shouted as I followed him

But he just kept walking and ignoring my calls to him, I run after him and stopped him by grabbing his firm arm

“You don’t have any respect to me. Are you really that rude?” I asked as I now in front of him

“I only respected woman who respects others.” He said harshly like a bomb was thrown on me

My expression turned from anger to disappointment; I saw in his eyes that he really mean it, He really mean to say it in front of my face. I just can’t believe that I will heard it from him, can he be a little considerate that we work under the same company, that I’m his senior, that I am somehow need comfort and not an insult, I didn’t know that my left hand tighten the grip on my wet hat; I want to punched this guy really hard but he’s not worth it.

My tears was about to fall from my eyes but I don’t want to look weak so I bite my lips very hard causing it to bleed a little, I want to gather all my strength to at least get some revenge 

“I have enough with you.” I said as I surrender myself and turned my back from him and ran away going back to my hotel

And with that as I was facing my back to him I let myself cry and wonder why he was always mean to me, he was always polite to my SNSD Eonnies and to me when they are watching but if they aren’t he always ignores me and he is the only one who’s like that to me in EXO that made me puzzle the whole time
