Today was the last day of the charity campaign and shockingly, I've made quite some friends.

They were really friendly and we exchanged numbers and hoped to meet each other again in the future.

After spending some quality times with the elders, I've come to realize I've just wasted a week of my holiday cleaning, cooking.... nah, I'm just kidding.

Spending time with the elders made me want to come here more often because they are just lonely souls waiting for their children to come back.

They kept telling me wonderful stories about the past and it made my mind become more open and that could really improve my essay in school but most importantly, I love being here.

Ji won and Chanwoo had been the greatest thing that has ever happened in my boring ordinary life. Most of my time here was spent exploring the village with them.

They brought me to the waterfall and we had a little picnic there and just yesterday, they brought me to the most beautiful lake I've ever seen. There were Tulips and Cadillac surrounding the lake and the greenery scene gave a peaceful vibe that I felt.

Ji won and Chanwoo was the nicest and thoughtful people I've ever met. We talked about our past and tell jokes to each other until my jaw hurt from laughing too much.

I was walking towards our room when suddenly an arm clinged onto my shoulder. I look beside me and saw a huge grin plastered on Ji won's face. Beside me was-ofcourse-Chanwoo.

 "What's up?” I asked.

Chanwoo grabbed my wrist and forced me to walk in his direction while Ji won kept on his grin. I was becoming suspicious and said, "Hey, what's going on? Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see." Jiwon said as he led me towards the direction we're going.

I snorted, "You keep on saying," I mimicked his voice, "you'll see."

Chanwoo laughed at me, "You sound just like him! Woah, I\m impressed.” he said as he clapped his hands dramatically.

I laughed back at him and said, "I'll take that as a compliment so thank you." I pretended to bow at him and earned a big grin from him while Ji won just rolled his eyes.

I was puzzled when we stopped in front of an old shop which its signboard was teared apart and was almost falling.

Ji won looked at me and patted my head, "Trust me, you'll be shock at how it looks in the inside." He said as he smiles assuring me.

Chanwoo nodded proudly before adding, "Yeah, don't judge a book by it's cover."

I sighed heavily, "Alright, bring it on!" I said as I pumped my fist in the air.

"Woah."

The bookstore was indeed beautiful and majestic. It was bigger and cleaner than I thought.

It was filled with huge racks of books that looked like it came from an ancient Greek era.

I couldn't help but awe at the beautiful paintings hanged on the every walls.

"Ugh, you guys again."

I turned around to see an old lady in a black loose blouse and grey bun looking directly towards Jiwon and Chanwoo while frowning.

Her eyes stopped darting at the boys who were smiling shyly and looked at me. She looks shocked upon seeing me and she quickly said, "Who is this cute angel I see in front of me?"

I nearly choked on my spit but Ji won quickly answered her question, "She is our friend and one of the volunteers." He said with an excited voice.

"So," Chanwoo cleared his throat, "Can we look around for a couple of minutes?" He pleaded to the old lady.

The old lady huffed loudly and spitted, "Fine."

She turned around and swept the floor with the broom Chanwoo mentioned on the first day when we met.

So, that part of story was true after all.

She quickly added with a grim voice, "Don't mess with the books or the book messes with you."

Ji won made a weird face and I look at Chanwoo who was also giving me a weird face at the lady's unusual advice but we quickly went further away from the old lady.

"I've told you she's crazy." Chanwoo said as he look at Ji won frowning.

"Shh!" Ji won puts his index finger on his mouth, "She can hear you." He whispered to us.

I laughed at them, "I think you guys are the crazy ones here." I said before walking towards a shelf that caught my attention.

There was a big sign above it saying, 'Magic section'.

I was looking at some books and one had caught my attention, its title was Grimoire. I silently laughed as I open the pages and read its contents.

"Having any fun, dear?"

I dropped the book I was holding and turned around and saw the old lady, smiling at me.

This time, her smile did not creep me out, instead it brought warmth to me.

There was a weird feeling that I felt for a few seconds before it disappears. I smiled back before picking up the book that fell from my hand.

She went closer to me and was still smiling when she says, "Oh, that's an interesting book you got there."

I awkwardly nodded and answered quietly, "Y-yeah, it is."

"Do you want to keep it?" She asked and I could see anticipation in her eyes as she pats my shoulder with her wrinkled hand.

Before I could answer her question which is probably 'No, why would I keep this stupid book?', Ji won shouted my name, searching for me in this big bookstore.

"I-I probably should go now." I bowed politely to the old lady before quickly making my way towards Ji won and Chanwoo.

On our way back to the old folk’s home, I told the boys about my little experience with the old lady and they laughed their hearts out at me. I rolled my eyes and said, "Guys, stop it! It's not funny at all." I pouted.

Ji won stopped laughing when he saw me pouting, "Alright, alright. We'll stop," he punched Chanwoo lightly on his arm to make him stop laughing, "But, seriously though, it would be the end of the world for that cranky lady to smile."

"Yeah," Chanwoo nodded, "Wait, did you say 'magic section'?" He asked carefully and I nodded.

Ji won looked at Chanwoo with an unreadable expression and Chanwoo did the same thing. Both of them burst out laughing again and I had to punch them on the gut to make them stop.

"What's so funny about it?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

Ji won panted for air as he said, "The thing is, there is no magic section in that bookstore," he laughed again, "I've been there for years and never saw one."

I shuddered at his statement and felt the cold air around me.

I looked at him, frowning, "W-what? I even read some books containing magic spells and all those s." I said angrily but the both of them laughed again at me.

I snorted before saying, "Whatever, laugh all you want. I know what I saw, okay?"

Chanwoo looked at me, still laughing, "Fine, it's not like we don't believe you but seriously? Magic section?" He burst out laughing again.

I groaned loudly before smacking his head and stomping away from them but I could hear Ji won said, “Mission two, check.”

After bidding goodbyes to Jiyeon, I hugged Ji won and Chanwoo tightly before waving to them.

I swear I saw Chanwoo's eyes glittered but I gave both of them a sad smile and we separated to our destinations.

When I arrived at home, Kihyun greeted me with a big hug. Turns out, he was waiting for me to get back from Busan with my parents.  They shot me questions about my little trip and I had to answer every single one of them.

After dinner, I took out my phone and showed them the pictures I took of the sunset and the beautiful nature.

My mum was holding my phone when she suddenly squeaked, "Who is these handsome boys?!".

My father was the first to react as he snatched my phone and his eyes was about to popped out from its socket.

I had to explain again about our friendship that lasted for a week and told them about how great the two duos were.

I couldn't help but to smile when talking about them.

Kihyun stared at the pictures I took of Ji won posing like a model before looking back at me and said, "You weren't even joking when you said he looked like Bobby."

I hit his head, "I've told you!” I huffed an air, "But, Ji won is certainly not Bobby because he's the nicest person I've ever encountered."

Kihyun pouted while looking at me, "So, I'm not the nicest person you've ever known?"

I rolled my eyes before hitting his head again.

"I'm tired," I yawned unattractively, "Can I go now?" They all nodded in sync and I went to my bedroom. Ah, the smell of my sweet old bedroom.

I tiredly made my way towards my bed and fell slumped on it.

"Ouch!" I rubbed my elbow, "What the hell was that?" I angrily huffed as I stood up and searched for the thing that made me hurt my precious elbow.

I thought it would be a metal object but what I saw was not like I've expected it to be.

It was the book. I carefully hold it up to my face and blew on it. It formed a cloud of dust and what had caught my eyes was the title.

The Grimoire.
