The Dress
This LoveAYO WASSUP~
I know that this chapter is like a little overdue but I sincerely had no inspiration and besides I've been helping my sister with her story as a coauthor and I've been fighting with my suscribers from another story at a different site. But I hope you guys like it.
Besides haven't you guys heard? JESSICA IS RELEASING A SECOND ALBUM!!!!!!
So i think its time to go crazy~~~~~!!!!!!!
Jessica smiled as she worked on a new design for her glasses, the design wasn’t going for too eccentric but more as delicate and feminine. She felt something tugging at her long peach colored tulle skirt for which she looked down and saw that it was Rourou who thought that her skirt was a toy.
“Aigoo, my Rourou~ you shouldn’t be tugging on mommy’s skirt. It was very expensive.” Jessica lightly scolded as she picked the puppy up to settle him on her lap however Rourou wanted to her face. She simply chuckled before going back to her designs; her right hand drawing the sketches while her left petted Rourou.
She stayed like that for a while until she noticed that she wasn’t sketching glasses anymore: she was drawing a dress. A wedding dress to be more specific. She let go of the mechanical pencil that she was using to rub her eyes to make sure that she wasn’t dreaming about the fact that she was drawing a wedding dress. Once she finished rubbing her eyes to check, the dress was still there. She silently groaned before looking over at the dress, the design was beautiful and delicate. She honestly didn’t think that she was able of designing a dress of that caliber since she is considered one of the worst artists in the world when it comes to terms of drawing.
(AUTHOR'S MINI NOTE: I honestly don't know why I like this dress so much maybe because its simplistic. Like its something I can imagine Jessica wearing for her wedding or at least something like it or maybe it's just me)
She sighed knowing the reason as to why her mind subconsciously started drawing the dress. After hearing so many times the sentence “When are you guys getting married?” from her parents (who loved Kris as much as she did), Kris’ mom, Krystal (and sometimes Jongin but it was because he wanted his hyung to be happy), Kevin, William, Victoria, Luhan, Tao, Irene and even Tyler. She loved Kris, she wanted to marry him and bring his children to the world but her only doubt was if Kris loved her as much as she did. Even though Kris never did anything to make her doubt the fact that he was in love with her, she still worried. Kris hadn’t had a lot of romantic relationships while she has had a handful of them, he could end up changing his mind.
“Hey Jess! Are you here?” She heard Kris’ voice yell as he closed the front door, Rourou jumped off her lap and groggily made his way towards Kris with excited yaps. Jessica grabbed the studio paper that held the design of the dress and stuffed it into one of her design albums.
“Yeah. I’m in my studio!” Jessica replied as she tried to shake her mind off of the dress. She stood by her desk when Kris entered.
“How was filming?” Jessica asked as she walked to hug him, something that Kris replied to immediately. They were both hugging each other tightly before they walked to the couch together, Jessica sat down while Kris decided to lie down on the couch using her legs as a pillow for his head looking up at Jessica. “Look, you don’t even fit on the couch. You’re too big. Answer my question.”
“It was fine. My roadshow is going to start in a few days.” Kris groaned. “I’d rather stay here at home with you and Rourou. Why can’t I just be a trophy husband? You know like let you pamper me for the rest of our lives together, I would work on being this handsome for you every day.”
Jessica couldn’t help but laugh at that comment, he was being a complete dork again and she loved it when he became his inner dork. God, I love this dork so much. “Well, you could be. I wouldn’t mind pampering you but your manly honor doesn’t allow you to do such a thing. You’ll go back to work the next day after you started your mission to become a full-fledged trophy husband.”
“You’re right.” Kris answered as he pouted while looking up at Jessica. “I love you so much, Jessica Sooyeon Jung.”
Jessica loved it when he called her by her full name. She felt as though he loved all of her.
“I love you more, Yifan Kevin Kris Wu. You have way too many names.” Jessica soon complained with a deadpan voice.
“I know but you really don’t mind.” Kris replied before moving upwards to kiss Jessica on the lips but Jessica was already meeting him halfway there.
And that’s how Jessica knew that it didn’t matter if they didn’t get married soon. She knew that she could and would wait for Kris to be ready for her. But what she didn’t know was that Kris has been ready since day 1. A few days later after Jessica had left to go back to Seoul, Kris ended up finding the dress sketch and that was how he knew that if he wanted to he could ask Jessica to marry him but not yet.
They're both idiots, right? I know. This might have not been my best chapter but I most certainly worked the hardest on it.
Please leave me your reviews and any idea that you might have for a future chapter.
