CHAPTER TEN: Chances  

Taking a huge sip of black coffee inside his car, the raven haired couldn't help himself but feel contented. Finally, he could let loose of himself and relax. He's can't wait to see his cute niece running towards him in a cutely fashion. He glances at his neatly packed duffle bag containing a few of his necessities beside his seat because his cousin told him that he had everything prepared for him during his stay. 

As per Hoseok’s instruction before he left his house, he would be picking up Hani’s best friend from their house around noon. His cousin decided that arrangement since their house was on the west side of town which was far from where his little princess’ best friend live. 

Jungkook had just arrived at the Jung’s house the night before Hoseok’s departure to Singapore for the annual science convention. He still remembers the location of the house quite well despite not being able to visit since Hani’s third birthday. 

And yes, as he was about to park his car in front of the house, he was greeted by his cousin while carrying the overly excited Hani on his arms, his precious niece.

"Baba Jungkwook! Daddy, he's heeeere!' the little tot wailed in excitement

Hoseok kissed her daughter's forehead and grins in unison of his little girl. "Of course princess, he's going to be here so he can spend his time with you. 

"Even betteeeerrr!" 

"Hey little princess, hyung, how have things been?" Jungkook said as he carried his bag to approach the two

"We're doing alright, don't we princess?" his cousin said earning a giggle from Hani. "Jungkook, you don't have to worry about anything during your stay. I apologize again for making you babysit my Hani. I know you should relax and.."

"Hyung it's all good. I said yes, that's why I'm here. You didn't force me to do it, I volunteered on my own." Jungkook reassured Hoseok  as he steps closer to the father and daughter tandem

"Hn.. Alright. Let's go in. I have a plane to catch
