Park Bom rolled up the curtains then sat on her chair.

Hyunwoo closed the door behind him and went straight to the coffee brewer.

“The usual, noona?” Hyunwoo asked, just to break the ice.

“Why bother asking, Hyunwoo-ah? You are already making mine,” Bom gave him an eye-smile after turning on her iMac.

“Hehe---Hyunwoo gave her an eye smile too, kind of a habit of them---Am I?” he brought the coffee to her desk and sat across her.

“Ya you are!---Bom playfully pouted as she grabbed her coffee---thank you.” she smiled and raised her paper cup.

Hyunwoo raised his shoulder and smiled widely.

Bom sipped her coffee---black with no sugar nor cream---while checking on her e-mails.

Hyunwoo started to stare uncomfortably at Bom but quickly changed his expression into smiles. He looked like he had something to say but undared to ask her.

Bom catched his unlikely behaviour and turned her sight to him, “Why don’t you brew coffee for yourself?”

“Ah---he scratched the back of his head like it was a mathemathic question---because...I had one earlier?” Hyunwoo lied, eye-smiling.

Bom sighed.

“You have something to say to me, right?” she put down her paper cup.

“Ah---he dropped his hand from his back head---you got me,” he stared at Bom’s paper cup, his smile faded.

“Tell me, what is it?” she leaned closer to the desk, started getting nervous.

After a long minute, Hyunwoo finally dared to look at her noona, he let out a sigh, “Do you dress like this because it’s that man’s birthday?”

Park Bom spaced out.

She pulled herself back to the chair’s backrest and stared blankly.

Hyunwoo observed her gestures and raised an eyebrow, “You forgot?”

Bom moved her sight slowly to Hyunwoo. Still spacing out, she blinked few times.

That is the reason of the sudden heartache she felt earlier this morning.

Because it’s that man’s birthday.

She always gets more depressed on that man’s birthday, recalling the memories of past birthdays Bom and that man always celebrated together.

But, today she forgot. She forgot that man’s birthday.

Is this good or bad? She couldn’t seem to find the answer.

Bom threw her sight to the calendar, today is November 4th 2015.
