Seunghyun fell asleep hugging Bom in the couch.

After crying like a baby and poured his heart out, he got tired and fell asleep when she cuddled him.

Seunghyun haven’t told Bom what he wanted to say nor he have yet told her his reason for being upset. He just cried and cried more, Bom had to push away her curiousness to calm this old cry baby.

Park Bom gazed at Seunghyun’s sleeping face.

She reached out her left hand---which was free from Seunghyun’s hug---and gently his face. She smiled and wiped his leftover tears away. She leaned her face up to his cheek and pecked them. Then her left fingers through his hair, dragging down to his shoulder and rested them there.

Bom wanted to get a blanket since it’s freezing, but Seunghyun was holding her waist tight, she couldn’t move.

They were in a position where if Bom make a significant movement, Seunghyun would wake up, since their bodies were touching everywhere.

Bom let out a sigh and seeked for nearby covers, but nothing was reachable without her moving. 

She decided to slowly remove Seunghyun’s grab on her, one by one.

First, Bom gently lifted Seunghyun’s head---who was leaning on her head---up. She held his head and put a small pillow beneath, substituting that pillow as her head. She moved his right arm from her waist to his lap, and so is his left arm. She put lots of pillows beside him to support his body from falling.

Then Bom got up, slinked away to her room and searched for a thick blanket. She found one and hugged it, quickly bringing it to the living room. 

When she arrived, Seunghyun was not in the couch anymore and the pillows were all over the floor.

He was standing---his back facing her---by the full windows, head slightly tilted and his shoulders was lowered. He looked like he got so much burdens on his shoulders.

Bom pouted and her eyes started to feel hot.

She felt broken seeing him being down and fragile. 

She was also really curious and this time the curiousness won. She had to know what’s wrong with him, she couldn’t hold her worries inside anymore. 

So she took a deep breath, mustered all her courage and approached him.

“I woke you up, huh?” Bom stood beside him, her eyes watching the city at midnight.

Seunghyun was slightly surprised by her sudden appereance.

He tilted his head to her and smiled, “Oh, you’re here,”

Bom didn’t turn her head to him, so Seunghyun gazed forward again.

Split seconds, Bom spoke out her curiosity, “You need to tell me what’s inside your head,”

Seunghyun’s smile disappeared, he turned his body to face Bom and stared with hurting gaze. Bom thought that he was going to answer, but he stayed still and didn’t say a thing.

Bom couldn’t wait any longer.

Without turning her head to Seunghyun, she uttered her thoughts in words, “What did you just find out?”

Seunghyun’s eyes popped in shock but quickly normalized them.

He got surprised at how accurate Bom’s guess was. He started getting amazed on how much she understands him.

Sometimes she just spoke up things inside his head, which he had been thinking on how to spill it out. 

It’s like she understands him more than he understands himself, even when she’s not looking at his expressions or body gestures.

Seunghyun got back to his senses. 

There he stood, wanting to spill everything out, but didn’t seem to find his voice. He didn’t know where they went.

“Tell me, Seung-ah, what is it that made you so miserable?” Bom finally turned herself around to face Seunghyun.

Her eyes were pleading his hurting eyes.

They stared like that for minutes before Seunghyun opened his mouth to speak.

He spilled everything out.

He then stared at Bom---waiting for her reaction---whom still looking at him with the same gaze.

That’s when he realized that he was uttering everything inside his head. He still couldn’t find the courage to say it out loud.

Bom slightly furrowed her eyebrows and widened her eyes, pleading more to Seunghyun.

Seunghyun gave up, he finally gave up thinking for the correct words to start and let everything out spontaneously. 

He closed his eyes, bowed his head down for seconds and finally lifted his face towards Bom, ready to speak.

“Reumie is dead,” Seunghyun found his voice, eventhough it sounded harsh and raspy.

His own words shocked him, he didn’t know that he would let out such a harsh start. He cursed himself for being stupidly-clumsy because those words would definitely hit Bom like a truck.

But unexpectedly, Bom smiled, “So you knew it,”

Seunghyun furrowed his eyebrows and mimicked confuseness.

Bom held her breath, “I’m sorry I had to lie about her,”

Seunghyun gazed at her with forming tears, “But...why?” his voice sounded even raspier.

She finally took a deep breath and smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek, “Because it would mean to spill the truth you were always avoiding to talk about.”

Seunghyun felt like he just got hit by a bus with those words said.

He didn’t know that his acts of protecting Bom were actually hurting her more. He clenched his teeth and cursed himself with words he didn’t ev
