6:00 a.m.

Lee Jieun was sitting beside Hyunwoo’s bed.

She gazed at him deep, memorizing every detail of him in her memory. She know she may not get another chance to do so. That she may not be able to stare at him this long. And she may never be this close to him anymore. This could be her last chance.

Jieun stared at the sleeping boy, Lee Hyunwoo.

His complexion was pale because of his illness. The doctor who came by this dawn told her that he got thypus because of his lacking stamina and over-tired body. He had been working too hard and thinking too much. Furthermore, he was extremely pressured last night.

Jieun took a closer look at Hyunwoo’s face.

Perfection was all that's there. His dark hair---eventhough it’s messy---frames his face nicely. His jetblack-bushy eyebrows frames his cute-rounded eyes perfectly. His nose is a bit crooked, but it made a good statement to his face.

Then to the part which dried out Jieun’s soul, his lips.

Jieun bit her own lip, Hyunwoo’s lips were just calling at her, every single time she sees them.

They are thin but somehow juicy; they were pale but somehow moisturized. She braved herself to just feel them with her fingers, eventhough her lips will never meet his. She reached out her hand to touch his lips, but quickly pulled when it was only inches away.

But the best part about Hyunwoo, is his soul.

It’s his personality that attracted Jieun the most. His kindness, his wilingness and his pure heart, are the things that made Jieun falls in love all over again.

Then suddenly Hyunwoo opened his eyes.

And Jieun felt butterflies in her stomach.

Hyunwoo quickly glanced at Jieun, startled by her sudden appereance.

He pulled himself to sit but his body didn’t allow him. He groaned in pain as he threw himself back.

Jieun stood up and pulled the blankets up to his shoulders, “Just don’t move for now, Hyunwoo-ah, you’re quite sick. I’ll just get you everything you need. What do you want? Water? Breakfast?”

Hyunwoo held his breath---he felt his heart started beating oddly---and stared wairdly at her before hiding his face under the blankets.

Jieun sighed deeply and crossed her arms in front.

Hyunwoo furrowed his eyebrows and bit his fingers under the blankets.

He didn’t understand the situation; he didn’t understand why his heart was beating weird; he didn’t understand why Jieun---whom is in the notalking-term with him---was there beside him.

He then realized. He wasn’t at his bed; he wasn’t at his home, he was at someplace new for him.

Hyunwoo quickly kicked the blankets away and that startled Jieun. She raised her eyebrows while watching him, feeling confused with his behaviour.

He forced himself to sit and quickly looked around. He then knew where he was. He remembered why he was there, but he still didn’t understand how could Jieun be there too, with him, that early in the morning.

Hyunwoo glanced at Jieun, he could feel his heart beating like crazy at the sight of her. He shook his head, thinking maybe that was because of his illness.

He pouted at her, “What are you doing here? How do you know this place?”

Jieun furrowed her eyebrows, “Ya, I was taking care of you all night and yet that is how you show your gratitude?”

Dugdug.

All night?

Hyunwoo could feel a strange sensation in his body.

“Ya! Why are you just staring at me? I didn’t barge in, okay, I didn’t stalk you all the way here. It was Seunghyun oppa who called me in panic, he said something is wrong with you. So I rushed here in the middle of the night and yet, your glare is all I got?!” Jieun’s voice got higher.

Hyunwoo tried to calm his racing heart and acted uninterested.

He rolled his eyes, “Yeah, fine, but I didn’t ask you to come,”

Jieun was about to explode in anger when Hyunwoo preceded her, “No, listen. You stopped talking to me since that day and we stopped seeing each other. So I thought that you are not going to talk to me anymore, I thought you are going to hate me forever. So this... This sudden appereance of you is quite shocking for me to accept. I don’t know how to act or respond. But anyway, I guess... Thanks Jieun-ah, for taking care of me,”

Jieun relieved the wrinkles in her forehead and got weak at his words.

She could feel her heart racing and her body freezes. She slowly loosened her folded arms and approached him.

She sat on the bed beside him, which caused Hyunwoo’s reflects to pull away.

But Jieun furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head at him.

Hyunwoo stared at her with rounded eyes, gesturing confuseness
