"The rain's really pouring hard, are you sure you want to go?"

"Yes, I'm sure, Jinhwan oppa. I really did it this time. My bad." He rolled his eyes.

"Gosh, stop calling me oppa, it's weird. We're cousins anyway. Just Jinhwan will do."

I laughed. "The reason I'm calling you oppa is because you're not comfortable with it."

He patted my head. "You're so mean, Hayi. Come on let's go."

Even though the weather's not good, I forced my cousin, Jinhwan oppa (keke) to accompany me to the supermarket. I know I can't replace Hanbin's whole kitchen, but I want to buy something for him at least, like a rice cooker. I hope it'll lessen his anger.

After the purchase, we decided to eat something first since we were both hungry. While eating, not far from our table were two women chatting.

"I really saw him earlier, seriously."

"Are you sure it was Kim Hanbin you saw?" Who?

"Yes. My daughter really likes him so I saw a lot of his pictures, and I'm positive it was him earlier."

"But what could he be doing here?" Indeed, what is he doing here? 

"I saw him buy a new kitchen set. Well, that's all. And oh, his expression is not good."

"What do you mean?"

"Like he's angry or what. I don't know. Let's just eat."

I stopped eating for a while. Jinhwan looked at me weirdly. 

"Wow, just hearing Hanbin's name really sets your mood, huh?" I hit him. "Ouch! What? Isn't it true? Oh right, you're the reason why he's not in a good mood--"

"Shut it, Jinhwan. Somebody might hear you." He just shrugged and finished his food.

"By the way, I've been trying to call you this morning but you were not answering."

"Oh, really? Wait, let me check my--" Oh no. "Oh gosh, my phone is missing!" I checked my pockets and there's none. My bag also. My phone is nowhere to be found!

"Seriously? Let's check around the house." Jinhwan and I checked but there are no signs of my phone. Gosh, where could it be?

Oh wait.

"Damn it, Jinhwan. I left it at his unit."

Jinhwan looked at me weirdly. "You are such an idiot, Hayi." He looked outside the window. "The rain's pouring hard, just get it tomorrow."

"But...what if Ms. Hye Ju texts me something important? Oh gosh." I started to panic, but Jinhwan just laughed at me.

"Come on, let's get it if you're that worried." He got his car keys immediately and pulled me inside his car. He was still laughing.

Annoyed, I asked him, "What is so funny about this?" He laughed even more after that.

"Next time, don't use your phone as an excuse to see Hanbin, okay?" My eyes widened and my cheeks heated up. I hit him a few times because of my embarrasment.

"Shut up! That's not true. Gosh, I hate you."

With the newly-bought rice cooker, I gathered the courage to press the doorbell to Hanbin's living space. Please don't open please don't open please don't open--

"What are you doing here?"

"O-Oh, uhm..." My eyes wandered. Stop acting like that, Hayi. Get yourself together. "I...It's not much, but I hope this could help." I handed my little gift to him. 

He just stared at it, but later grabbed it from me.

"You can go now," he said in a monotone voice.

"Uhm, I actually left--" He handed me my phone before I could even finish.

"Next time, don't be an idiot. It's an essential, especially for you since you only have three contact persons, with one being your boyfriend."

Boyfriend? "I don't have a boyfriend...?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I don't care. Now, go."

"Uhm, thank you for letting me sleep in last--" He shut the door.

Do you really hate me that much, Kim Hanbin?
