Jong Kook woke up due to a phone call from Gapjin. He was so tired after RM filming with Kim Seo Hyun that last until midnight. It was 4 in the morning when his phone didn’t stop ringing. He sure knows I’m up already. Why can’t he wait an hour or two? It’s still so early.

“What is it about? Why are you shuttered?”

“Hyung, is it okay to meet you at this hour?”

“Yeah, if it’s okay, can you please open the door?” Jong Kook ended the call and ran to his front door. He knew something bad must be happened.

“Gapjin-ah, what is it?”

“Hyung, can you promise me to take anything easy? I mean, can you promise me that you’ll be okay if I tell you this?” Jong Kook frowned. His manager was kind of weird since their phone call. He just nodded his head while heading to his sofa, getting himself ready for the serious talk.

Gapjin took a deep breath as he started the reason why he was panicking. He also took his phone out.

“I got a message from RM Production team, they... they told me that you’ll no longer be a part of the team after this and that next week will be your last filming.” Gapjin scanned his hyung reaction. The news did take him by surprise.

“ You.. me.. what?!” Jong Kook starred back at Gapjin.

“Neh, hyung. Apparently, they knew about your relationship with Ji Hyo-ssi. They said that both of you violent the show by having a real relationship.” Jong Kook couldn’t say a word and just kept silent. He knew that he can’t do anything about it. He was actually planning on telling them about his relationship with Ji Hyo, they just a step ahead of him.

“Just don’t say a thing to the others, especially Ji Hyo.” He left to take a glass of water to calm himself. His phone rang not long after that. It was one of the RM PDs. They said sorry for not being able to say a thing about it. He didn’t know how to react. Should he be mad or sad? He did all for the show. He gave his all for the show. He had to hide his pain, his love, his jealousy. He put them aside for the sake of the show, but they just gave them the cruellest reality. He locked himself in his room. Crying was never his intention. He just stared blankly at the wall. He refused to eat when his mom knocked his door asking him to get his breakfast. Gapjin has practically told her about Jong Kook’s state, so she gave him space. She knew entertainment industry could be that cruel. She had seen a lot in her dearest son’s career.

Jong Kook didn’t want to make anyone worried so he tried to be his usual self. He tried to look at things positively. At least, now no one would bring RM when later he announces his relationship. He didn’t bring the news to anyone he met, either he didn’t want to make them worry or just simply because he was just too lazy to talk about it. He acted as if nothing happen. Just when he thought that he would tell Ji Hyo after they had their dinner tomorrow, he received a call from her manager.

“WHAT?!” Jong Kook was so angry till he clenched his fist.

“Arraseo, please take care of everything. I’ll get going.”He dialled Gapjin’s number.

“Not until 6 pm, hyung? Why?”

“I’m sure you know why. Can you get any help to cover me? I’m going to check her.”
