The raindrops beat the window pane and soft lighting struck across the dark blue sky. A warm cup of fresh hot chocolate was in her favorite mug between her grips as she stared out the glass window. Her head was blank and nothing could ever change her mind after what he said to her. He said it clear, clear enough that it haunted her like a ghost after its killer.

‘DON‘T YOU DARE SAY THAT I DON‘T LOVE HER!’

She could still hear the tone he used to say this phrase and it was like being killed. Tears rolled down her pale cheeks as the raindrops hit the window. She looked up to the sky and it was like seeing her own face across the whole sky. It was so painful that she wanted to leave the world the moment she realized what pain was but she knew death wouldn’t set her free. She felt the metal jewelry over her marriage finger and took a deep sigh.

A promise? A lie?

She finally focused at the ring and forced a smile as she saw the beautiful diamond shine. She left the unfinished cup of chocolate by the window pane then went over to her huge fish tank filled with rainbow fishes. She didn’t hesitate to pull off the ring and plopped it in to the water then watched as it sank down to the bottom. She slowly let her body fall to the floor and laid there like a lifeless body.

‘Why…?’ She began to wander.

‘You used to be there. Used to make me smile and now… you’re with the replacement of me.’

-FLASHBACK-

“Hae Bin~ah, oppa promise to come back.” The little boy told the crying little girl.

“A-Aniyo~ What if I leave too? When will we find each other again?” She asked and sadness filled both of the children faces.

“Hae Bin….” He stuck his hand into his pocket then pulled out a ring.

“I was told that my umma left this for me. I made a wish on it to see if I can find her one day. Here.” He took the little girl’s hand and put the ring through her thumb.

“You must keep it very good so I know who you are when you grow up, araso?” He smiled even when he truly knew it was sad to leave her.

“Araso, oppa. Then promise Hae Bin that you won‘t ever love anyone besides her, araso?” She sniffed her tears as she told him this.

“Oppa promise.” He flashed another smile to her as she did the same back to him.

“You promise, didn‘t you?” Her voice trembled as she was seconds away from sobbing.

“But… but why are you with her?” Her voice trailed away then she closed her eyes preparing for her break down.

CONGRATS~~! So hope everyone is at least happy with their partners. A big note: I might change the way how some of the characters’ personalities. Anyways I was successful with my last story, A Marriage’s Happy Ending, so for this story I would be looking for MORE readers and support. Those who have applied but didn’t get pick, I apologize sincerely to you if you took a long time to do your application but hopefully you will still support or just put your place in one of the girl’s position. Don't worry, I'm introducing the girls in the next few chapters. First off would be Jaeeun and Mimi. So for every update, I will always have teasers for the next chapter. There will be times when I do double updates when I post TWO chapters or maybe more, depends.
