Kim Saeron was walking to school the next day. She thought of her precious friend Bin. She wondered if he was doing okay or not, however, thoughts of Jungkook crossed her mind. She couldn't help but still think of Jungkook even if she was deeply worried about her friend. Bin was her precious friend but Jungkook was her special friend. As Saeron was walking to her homeroom she noticed a motorcycle speeding right by her. She noticed the figure and realized it was her friend, Bin. Moonbin had just parked his motorcycle and set his helmet onto his bike. Saeron then ran up to him, excited to finally see he has returned safe and sound.

"Bin-ah. You came to school." Saeron was smiling at the latter.

"Sorry, you had to go through all that yesterday because of me." Moonbin began walking to class and Saeron walked alongside him while listening.

"Go through what? That's what friends are for." Moonbin turned to look at her with a softened expression on his face. He seemed hurt by her words.

"You never give me a chance, huh?" He turned to look away, feeling embarrassed.

"Huh, What do you mean?" Saeron said while looking at him with a puzzled look.

"You just think of me as a friend." They stopped walking for a moment as Moonbin spoke.

"What did I do? Of course, we're friends, then what else will we be?" Saeron brushed it off, unaware of Bin's true feelings.

"You saying that means...you don't want to be anything more than friends, right?" He looked at her to see if anything would change. Saeron looked a bit nervous or scared so Moonbin sheepishly laughed it off and smiled. He faced her and then leaned in so they were inches apart. "Okay, I won't try anymore. Don't get scared." He then ruffled her hair then headed off to class ahead of her.

Saeron stood there baffled for a moment. She tried to understand what just happened but then she saw Jungkook walking to his class as well. Her eyes lit up but she noticed he wasn't with his hyungs this time. He was walking with a pretty girl. The girl had one arm hooked with his and she was smiling and laughing with him. In Saeron's eyes, it seemed as if the two were dating. She felt something deep in her gut. It wasn't a pleasant feeling at all. She gritted her teeth and then headed off toward her homeroom avoiding Jungkook and the girl. 

[Lunch Time]

Saeron was at her desk putting her notes and textbooks away. Her friends were waiting for her but then she told them to go ahead without her. She was now alone in the classroom. She was lost in her thoughts since she was still a bit in shock after what she saw that morning. Why was Jungkook smiling and laughing with a pretty girl? Just who exactly is she and what is their relationship?? Also, why did Saeron feel so bothered by it..? It's not like Jungkook was hers or anything like that...

"Saeron-ah." Jungkook sat on her desk and smiled at her as she was staring off into space. She snapped back to reality then scoffed and quickly got up to head to her friends, simply ignoring the boy. He stared at her in disbelief. The last time they spoke they were on such good terms. So why was Saeron acting that way? Jungkook couldn't seem to understand. He hopped off the desk and then went to grab her arm. "Yah. What's wrong..?" He looked at her with concern. She scoffed then yanked her arm away.

As she headed out the door of the classroom, she was greeted by the pretty girl she saw earlier. Saeron's eyes grew wide. She couldn't believe that it was real. That pretty girl did exist. So then, just who is she to Jungkook? The pretty girl just blinked and then tilted her head at Saeron. Jungkook recognized her.

"Oh. I'm here, Nari-yah." He showed up in between the girls. Saeron looked up at him in shock. So he does know her... "Nari-yah. This is Kim Saeron. Saeron-ah this is Jung Nari. Nari is a trainee at my company, so I was in charge of looking after her since she's in our grade." Jungkook clarified. Saeron felt a bit relieved to hear that. Nari hooked arms with Jungkook and then bowed her head politely.

-FLASHBACK-

Jungkook was in the practice room with his hyungs. They were preparing for their comeback. Just then, the owner of the company decided to give them a surprise visit. Hitman Bang. The members were a bit confused as to why he showed up out of the blue. They decided to greet him properly and he smiled and laughed.

"Ohh yes yes. I understand you guys are confused as to why I'm here, but I have a huge favor to ask!" He suddenly gestured for someone to enter the practice room. It was a pretty girl. Of course, all the members got flustered and tried to look cool in front of her. She shyly stood by Hitman Bang.

"Boss, who's that?" Namjoon asked immediately.

"This is my niece. Jung Nari. She is a new trainee in our company. She moved from the countryside to pursue her dreams here. Introduce yourselves." Nari stepped forward then bowed politely.

"Hello, I'm Jung Nari! Please look after me well!" They all cheered for her. Then they prepared to introduce themselves too.

"2!3! BANG TAN. Hello, we're BTS." They greeted her. She clapped in awe.

"So what's the favor, boss?" Innocent Jhope asked.

"Good question! So since she's new here, she will also be attending your guys' school. Will you guys please look after her?" He pleaded with them nicely.

"Oh? What grade is she in?" Suga asked.

"Glad you asked! She's going to be a freshman!" Everyone looked at Jungkook. Jungkook realized what happened.

"Eh?? I have to take care of her?" The elder members and nudged it.

"Aigoo. Our maknae is growing up." Jimin cooed then wrapped his arm around his shoulder. Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Hyung, please."

"Please Jungkook ssi? For me?" Nari batted her eyes cutely then went over to hook arms with him. His face turned pale as he was always uncomfortable around girls. He didn't want to disappoint anyone so he reluctantly agreed to take care of her.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"O-Oh. I'm Jung Nari." She said softly then tucked her hair behind her ear.

"A-a-ah. I'm Kim Saeron. N-nice to meet you." She said awkwardly to the other. 

Jungkook laughed a little to himself. He realized why Saeron was acting so strange. He adored her even more. He felt extremely happy that Saeron appeared to be jealous of this random girl. It made him feel a bit cocky. Now he could use this to all he wants. She was so cute to him. Saeron looked at him a bit confused as to why he was acting that way. Just then Nari remembered something.

"Oh. I forgot my purse in our classroom!! I'll be right back Junggiee~" She quickly ran past Saeron, ignoring her. Saeron then glared at Jungkook.

"Yah!! Why were you laughing at me??" She playfully hit him. He then chuckled then grabbed her hands, making her cheeks turn a bit pink.

"You're so cute, Saeron-ah. You were jealous, weren't you?" He booped her nose. Her eyes grew wide and she suddenly became flustered.

"E-ehh???? N-no I wasn't!! Pabo! You wish I was jealous!! Pffftttt." She crossed her arms and turned away while scoffing.

He laughed more at her cute actions, then cheesily went in front of her to get real close to her face. He made a funny face then she cracked a small smile. He then a bit before hugging her tight against his chest. Saeron was startled but she also didn't pull away. He sighed in relief then leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"Yah.. you can't hide it from me. I know you were jealous of her. You have nothing to worry about though so trust me a bit more, mm?" He smiled wide then ruffled her hair gently. She nodded shyly and then looked up at him. She couldn't help but smile back at him. 

"S-sorry for misunderstanding.." She mumbled while staring harshly at the ground. Jungkook chuckled for the nth time then tilted her chin up so she was forced to look at him.

"Ayyyee. Don't worry. You're still my number one." He beamed another grin. She then laughed and playfully nudged him.

As they left the classroom, Saeron decided to walk him back to his classroom so he could look after that trainee girl. Saeron's heart was now a bit more at ease since she knows she has nothing to worry about now. Little did the two know that Nari was standing outside Saeron's classroom. She heard their whole conversation and the two love birds walked right past her. She was furious at the Saeron girl who was stealing her future man.

"I'll wait here for Nari. Maybe she went to the bathroom. Go and enjoy lunch with your friends." Jungkook caressed her hand.

"Are you sure..?"

"Haha of course silly. Go on." He nudged her. She nodded and then started walking. At the door, she looked back at him one more time. He chuckled then shooed her away playfully. She then decided to head off to her friends.

Instead of heading up to the rooftop with her friends, the gang decided to eat outside in the courtyard for once. Since Saeron arrived later, she noticed Suhyun was missing from the group. Everyone else seemed absorbed in a conversation.

"Oh. What took you so long, Saeron-ah?" Hayi tilted her head while she was sitting next to Bobby and Bobby's arm was around her shoulder.

"You okay, kiddo? No one tried to hurt you..right?" Bobby chimed in as a good friend. Bin's face suddenly got worried.

"N-no! Ahah. N-nothing like that at all!" She said a bit flustered. "I was...talking to someone, sorry." She sheepishly rubbed her nape in embarrassment.

"The good thing is, you're safe. That's all that matters." Bin smiled assuringly and patted her head. She smiled a bit. Then she remembered that Suhyun was absent.

"Where's Suhyun?" 

The gang looked around and then actually noticed that she wasn't there. They suddenly panicked a little.

"Eh? I swear she was with us a minute ago!!" Hayi exclaimed. 

"Yeah, this is her lunchbox!" Bobby added.

Saeron felt weird about it so they all split up to go look for her. Of course, everyone was texting her and calling her, but Saeron walked around to try and find her. 

Saeron stumbled upon the basketball court outside and then noticed a bunch of guys playing and a group of girls cheering for one guy. He seemed good or something. Then, her eyes darted onto Suhyun who was hiding behind a pole and peeking out at the really good player. Saeron sighed in relief to herself then ran over to her friend.

"Psst...Suhyun." Saeron whispered.

Suhyun jumped up in startlement. She never expected anyone to catch her stalking her little crush. She usually did it when no one paid attention to where she was. It was a perfect crime.

"Wh-what are you doing here??" Suhyun whispered back.

"Me? What about you? Everyone is looking for you."

"Ah... Really? S-sorry.." 

"It's okay. Just tell me why you are here, and why are we hiding?.."

"Ah... this is embarrassing, but you see that cute sunbae over there, playing well?" She asked Saeron. Saeron could see him, so she nodded.

"Yeah...what about him?"

"That's Nam Joohyuk.. he's a really good player. I always come here to watch him play! He's so good!!" Suhyun quietly squealed.

"He's the one with all those fangirls cheering him on, right?" Saeron asked, cluelessly. Suhyun nodded then sighed.

"Yeah.. he's popular so I usually hide. I don't want them picking on me b-because--"

"Because you like him...?" Saeron nudged the latter. Suhyun's face got bright red, then she suddenly hid behind her hair. Saeron giggled. "It's okay. I won't tell anyone. I think it's cute that you have a little crush on him." 

"Shhhhh. Don't tease me!" Suhyun huffed cutely.

Just then, a ball was headed in their direction. It looked like it was going to hit Saeron right in the face. Suhyun looked at her in shock since she wasn't sure what to do.

Suddenly, Suhyun shouts at Saeron to move, then Saeron turned to see the ball head towards her. She closes her eyes shut, scared of the outcome. Luckily, a big shadow was cast in front of her and she heard a low -pack- sound. She then opened her eyes and saw the tall, handsome, great basketball player, Nam Joohyuk. 

"Are you okay?" Joohyuk checked Saeron to make sure she wasn't hurt. His eyes were big and full of worry. Suhyun stood in disbelief since he was right in front of them.

"I-I'm okay. Th-thanks." Saeron said while looking up at the latter. He smiled in relief.

"Phew. That's a relief. Sorry, we were playing carelessly back there. I'm glad you are alright! Oh, by the way, are you new around here? I've never seen you before." He tilted his head while looking at her.

"Ah. Sorry. Yes. Hello. I'm Kim Saeron, a first-year. This is my friend Lee Suhyun." The two girls bowed while greeting him.

"Oh, I see. A pleasure to meet you guys. I'm Nam Joohyuk a junior. I will make sure to look after you!" His eyes were glued on Saeron at this point.

"Haha, that's very kind of you, Sunbae. We better let you get back to your game though, it seems the other Sunbaes are waiting for you." Saeron smiled. Suhyun nodded shyly.

Joohyuk looked back at his classmates and then back at the cute girls. He mentally weighed his two options. He threw the ball back to them and then gathered his stuff.

"Meh, they can play without me." He waved at his friends who quietly snickered and .

"A-are you sure??" Suhyun piped in, feeling worried about the fangirls and the other sunbaes.

"No worries. Let me buy you guys something to drink since our ball almost hit you... Um... Saeron. Oh and uh Suhyun, right?" 

The girls couldn't refuse a senior being nice to them and offering to buy them something, so they just accepted the offer. Joohyuk grinned and went to the cafeteria with them to buy the two girls a drink of their choice.

Jungkook happened to be in the cafeteria with the BTS crew and Nari. He noticed Saeron and her friend walk in. He was going to greet them but then he saw them with a tall older male. So he refrained from making a scene. He just watched from a distance.

Suhyun picked up a strawberry milk carton. Saeron picked up a bottle of green tea. Joohyuk reached for his wallet in his pocket and paid for the girls' drinks as he promised. He couldn't help but notice Saeron's drink of choice.

"Whoa. Do you like green tea too? Isn't great?" He said happily.

"Oh! Yes! I love it when it's cold or hot!" Saeron chimed in. At this point, Suhyun felt like a third wheel. She slowly noticed how he kept his eyes on Saeron and not on her.

"W-what about milk..?" Suhyun forced herself into the conversation. Joohyuk piped in.

"Ah.. dairy makes me gassy."

"Oh? Me too!" Saeron laughed. Joohyuk laughed as well.

"So Saeron, how do you like it here? It's a pretty cool school, right?" Joohyuk rested his chin on his arm as he leaned in and looked at Saeron.

"Ah, I've been here for a while now so I'm adjusting. Haha." She rubbed her nape. Suhyun felt uncomfortable so she went to the bathroom for a bit.

"Well, now you met a cool sunbae, right?" He nudged her and grinned. She nodded and smiled.

"I guess so. Oh, wait. You were referring to you, right?" She . "I guess you are alright." She messed with him. He laughed in shock at the girl's words.

"Yah! That's how you treat your sunbae, hm?" He played along.

Just then, Suhyun came back. She noticed the two seemed a lot closer. She felt jealous. Why was Saeron getting all friendly with the guy she liked? Suhyun felt a bit betrayed that her friend was practically flirting with her crush. It was the worst thing that could ever happen to her. Sure, maybe she was exaggerating but it felt like she was being betrayed for real. Suhyun gritted her teeth at this point and then tugged on Saeron's arm.

"Well, we better get back to our friends. Right, Saeron-ah?"

"Ah. She's right. Thanks so much for the drink, sunbae! You are so kind. It was a pleasure meeting you!" Saeron bowed. Joohyuk looked a bit sad that they had to go.

"Aww darn. I had fun hanging out. Here." He quickly scribbled something onto a napkin then while Suhyun wasn't paying attention, he slipped the napkin into Saeron's hand. She was a bit startled. 

"If you get bored, call me." He whispered so only Saeron could hear. Saeron blinked then nodded. He then waved bye and smiled as the girls started heading back to their friends. Saeron shoved the napkin into her pocket to look at later.

"He's a nice guy~ Good pick, Suhyun!" Saeron praised as they walked with their arms hooked. Suhyun mumbled to herself then gritted her teeth again.

"Mhmmm.."

Saeron and Suhyun made it back to the worried friends. Suhyun remained quiet as she was thinking intensely about the interactions between Saeron and Joohyuk earlier. The others were relieved that they were all safe and sound. Saeron stepped aside for a minute to look at the napkin that Joohyuk gave her. She saw his number written on it. She giggled to herself and then added him right away. She sent a message to him so he would know it was her and not just a stranger.

Meanwhile, Joohyuk was still in the cafeteria, daydreaming about Saeron. He found her utterly adorable. He couldn't stop thinking about her. Then he saw a new message on his phone. It snapped him back to reality. He saw that Saeron sent him a message. He grinned from ear to ear. He was so excited to get closer to Saeron. He never knew that he would act like this around someone. His buddies from outside at the basketball court came in and greeted him. They asked him about the cute girl he was with. He blushed a bit and his ears turned red. 

"Her name is Saeron...she's so cute." Joohyuk said shyly. His friends even more.

"Ooooohhh la la! You like her, don't you?"

"Hey now, shuuushhh. Someone might hear you." Joohyuk said all flustered.

Since Jungkook saw Saeron earlier, he couldn't help but keep his eyes on that dude. He didn't trust him. He wondered why that guy was around his Saeron. Jungkook overheard Joohyuk talking to his friends about Saeron. He felt bothered by this. Just who was this guy and why did he adore Saeron so much? Jungkook balled up his fist under the table and grit his teeth hard. Nari seemed to be the only one noticing Jungkook act all weird. 

"Jungkook-ah...are you okay?" She batted her eyes and then tilt her head slightly. Jungkook snapped out of his jealous state for a moment to pay attention to her. 

"Huh? Oh, sorry. I don't know what came over me. I'm fine." He muttered under his breath. Nari giggled then hooked her arms with him and laid her head on his shoulder. He rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders so she could get off of him. The members chuckled at the two young kids and they all resumed to enjoying lunch.
