Still floating at an empty space, Celestine shouted. “Why are you called the Wanderer?”

She was scared. She was afraid of what might happen.

Celestine wasn’t claustrophobic. In fact, the black hole in which she’s currently in is incredibly vast, yet it feels as if she’s in a ten by ten cubic meter confined place.

“We are lost souls that help people like you grant wishes before you fade away.” The woman’s voice continued, “We are a blob of nothingness wandering through the depths of the Void.”

Celestine furrowed her brows. “I… don’t get it.”

“You will, someday.”

Celestine already felt the tightening of her chest, but there was nothing inside her ribcage. Nothing beating. It was completely cold… and empty. “Am I going to be a lost soul, too?” She was almost sobbing, but even a tear wouldn’t come out from her brown orbs. She wanted to vomit from all the emptiness she’s feeling. Out of reflex, she tried to lift her arm up and put a finger towards but she doesn’t have enough strength to do so.

It took quite a while before, the Wanderer, the woman’s voice spoke in a dull tone. “The key to success is – do not let yourself fall to the pit of the Void. Always… always remember that.”

This time, the Wanderer’s voice was trembling from the darkness. Celestine was about to talk, however, she was interrupted by the voice once again.

“Now, go on. Make your dreams a reality.”

Celestine woke up and sat up rigidly straight – heart pounding as if wanting to escape from its cage. And no, her being Park Chorong was not a dream. She was sweating as if she’s ran a thousand miles and she felt dehydrated.

"Eh? Chorong-unnie, are you okay?” Bomi, her current roommate, asked worriedly. Celestine nodded her head hurriedly, avoiding eye contact with her as much as possible.

“Oh.” She continued arranging her clothes in the closet while speaking, “Well, if you want to talk about any of your nightmares, I’m always here to listen, okay?” She smiled sweetly afterwards, which Celestine gladly accepted. “Y-Yeah, thank you.”

“By the way,” Bomi exclaimed, changing the topic naturally, “Our Eunji got home earlier than we thought last night. Their rehearsal was cancelled. Just letting you know since you slept a little early, unnie.”

“Ah, really? Is she up already?” Celestine let her feet rest on the beige carpet and carefully tying her hair up into a messy ponytail. Meanwhile, Bomi pouted. “Why are you not reacting to me getting up earlier than you?! That’s unusual.”

“Hey, be thankful I didn’t comment on that!” She grinned slightly, trying to cover herself up from the issue. “Hm, that’s true.”

“What about Eunji?”

As an instinct, she stood up and took a look at the bed above hers. Celestine was surprised with what she did. She didn’t even know that Eunji was sleeping there. “Ah, she looks really sleepy. Look at her…”

“She’s dripping saliva from !” Bomi cracked up.

“Shh! Keep it down!” Celestine said that yet she was also laughing from the sight. “Let’s leave her for now.” Bomi nodded while walking towards the door. “Yeah, we still have a little bit of time before getting ready and rehearsing, again.” Both of them left their bedroom quietly, smiling to the sleeping Jung Eunji.

Bomi opened the lights of their apartment and they were the only ones awake. Celestine walked up to a medium-sized mirror between the doors of two bedrooms, looking at Park Chorong’s face. “What time is it now?”

“It’s three in the morning.”

“Huh?! It’s so early!”

“Yeah. I couldn’t sleep.” Bomi laughed naturally, her eyes almost forming into a line.

Celestine touched her face again, unable to believe that she was this beautiful. However, she couldn’t help but wonder, ‘Where is Park Chorong?’ Celestine was interrupted from her thoughts when Bomi asked her while opening and then closing the refrigerator door briefly. “I’m going out, unnie.”

“What? Why?” Celestine walked away from the mirror and stood beside Bomi. She took a bottle of water and drank from it. After that, she quickly put it back inside the refrigerator and closed its door.

“I’m going out for a run! And I’m hungry too. There’s nothing in the fridge.” She pouted while looking at the said object.

“Ehh, I want to go too!” Celestine acted like Park Chorong this time and whined like a little child. “Aigoo, my Chorongie!” Bomi placed both of her palms on Chorong’s cheeks and made her pout like a fish. Celestine, instead of giggling, gave her a deadly stare, causing the singer to stop. She pretended that she was being attacked by the leader and she put both of her arms up to cover her head. “I’m sorry!” She burst out laughing, the usual weirdness of Yoon Bomi.

“Stop that! You’re so weird.” Celestine gave her a fake glare. “Let’s go already. I’m hungry!”

She wiped off a tear that escaped from one of her eyesmiles. “Aren’t you going to wash your face first, unnie?” She said and tilted her head. Celestine tensed up. “Oh, um, alright. I’ll be right back.”

‘How could I forget that idols take really, really – like really good care of their faces? Stupid, Celestine.’

After doing so quickly, Celestine took a small towel to dry up her face and quietly went inside their room to change into some sweatpants and a sweater. She saw Eunji still sleeping and she was snoring quite loudly. She stifled back a laugh.

When Celestine was finished changing, she was about to leave the bedroom but she heard some murmurs. Eunji was sleep talking.

“Mhmm… stupid! Stupid… Suho…”

Celestine froze.

‘Did I just hear that right? Or am I just going insane because of all the things that are happening to me?’

She moved closer towards Eunji on the upper deck of their beds but she didn’t make any sound anymore. Eunji was sleeping very peacefully, looking as if she’s cruising through dreamland. Celestine shrugged, convinced that she was just hearing things.
