Narrator POV

Baekhyun sat on the chair beside Jisun's bed staring down at her peaceful sleeping face that was once drenched with tears all because of him...

He caressed her hair gently while murmuring the words "I'm sorry" over and over again. He was distrupted by the sound of the ward door sliding open followed by a gentle 'thud' indicating the door was slid back shut.

He didn't bother to see who had entered the room.. He was too immersed in the sleeping figure infront of him.

The voice of Jisun's doctor could be heard from behind him but he did move a single inch.. 

"About Mrs. Byun's condition, it's not critical. She will definitely live, she probably just had a slight stress especially since she's taking care of two"

Baekhyun heard the words 'taking care of two' which made him turn away from her facing the young doctor behind him with his eyes wide open

"W..what do you mean.. two?" he stuttered, he was scared of what was coming.

"Congratulations Mr Byun your wife is carrying a healthy baby" the doctor gave him a smile but received an unexpected reaction 

"No.. no. noo" Baekhyun shook his head continously repeating the words 'no' as if he was panicking 

"Is everything alright Mr Byun?" he asked slightly tilting his head in confusion the next thing he knew the collar of his lab coat was in Baekhyun's palms gripping onto it so tight it look as if he could bleed any second.

"Tell me you're lying!" Baekhyun had tears in his eyes as he remembered the other time when Jisun was carrying Haeng Sang and Hyejin

"I.. I'm sorry Mr Byun.." the doctor didn't know what to say as he watch the man in front of him slowly broking down

He slowly fell to his knees keep repeating the same words over and over again "No.. no no.."

He didn't know what to think anymore, he can't ask for an abortion he'd be the worst father that was the least he would want but at the same time he was afraid to lose her..

He clenched his fist and started hitting his own head "You idiot! You just made Jisun in this situation.." he was stopped by a soothing but husky voice coming from behind him, it was the voice that made his heart warm up, the one that made his heart flutter

"Baekkie.." she called out again

Baekhyun turn to see Jisun reaching out her hand, he stood up immediately holding her hand 

"Jisun-ah~ You're..." before Baekhyun could complete his sentence Jisun closed
