Jisun POV

I was 18 weeks pregnant and my morning sickness is gone more good. The bump on my belly was now visible and anyone who saw it would immediately know that I was pregnant..

I was  awoken by the morning birds chirping. I've decided to stop schooling as the doctor from the past appointments has suggested that I stay at home for as long as possible.

I stare at the clock that was hanging on the wall opposite to the bed, I turned to look beside me expecting to see Baekhyun sleeping soundly but was disappointed when I was greeted by emptiness.

"Baekhyun?" I look around looking for the one person I wished to see early in the morning. I struggled a bit to get out of bed, I walked down looking around trying to find him but the house was dead silent.. Until I heard little barkings coming from outside, I walked to the source of the sound which lead me to the back door in the kitchen.

I noticed that the door of the homeless dog shelter was open. Out of curiousity I walked slowly to the shelter with my hand pressed against my spine as my back was started to ache due to the baby I was carrying in my womb

Wondering if it was Baekhyun I called out "Baekhyun? Is that you?" I tilt my head slightly to the side hoping to see just a glimpse of the person.

I walked closer and closer finally reaching the wooden door and peek inside. There he was, squating down with his hands raised in front the puppies while they hungrily ate everything that was on his hand.. He had a sweet smile on his face as he fed the hungry puppies. Seeing such smile was contagious  I can't help but smile too.

I slowly walked in, a twig underneath my foot cracked making my presense known. He turned to me and smiled "Oh! You're awake"

He stood up and hugged my around my waist, the puppy that he had just fed ran around our legs as we hug. 

"Do you want to eat something?" he asked with a caring tone "I'll cook for you"

"No it's ok, I can make it myself" I shook my head

"Aniyo I'll do it, you just rest ok" he place both his hands on my shoulder and guide me back to the kitchen and to the dining table not forgetting to close the door of the shelter

He made me sit down before kissing me on the forehead gently "Just sit and relax ok?" he smiled lovingly at me and walked out to the kitchen.

I just stared at his retreating figure with a smiled glued to my face as soon as he was out of sight I looked down at the bump and caressed it gently "Your appa and I will definitely take good care of you, you just be a good kid ok?" I stared in adoration as I gently roam my hands around the bump.
